To update device tree & blobs from Android MM to Android N is not so hard, if you are going to develop on P8Lite . There is a lot of examples in github ... so please try to learn yourself ! You'll not be able to fix any issues on this device, if you are not able to make your own device tree !
My advice is to try creating a device tree from scratch, in this way your ROMs will not share the same issues like all my ROMs here !
If you can't , better do something else - development is not for every users - you should have a solid base of Java, C & C++, and also a few years of experience
I helped the community by releasing the source code for Android MM, now every "developer" can easily update and improve source, don't need to wait anything !
BTW, good luck

you cannot make this rom for p8 lite since our device is shipped with Emui 3.1 Lollipop 64 bit your device is launched with Emui 3.0 Kitkat and that version doesn't support arm64 platform.

I didn't do calculations , but I am sure it's better than RRos .
As I remember approximately 40 minutes of video streaming and battery drop from 38 to 10 ℅ , using SW decoder on MX player , as it is has better performance than HW decoder .
Also deep sleep works fine for me.

What about antutu score? I got 31116 on Mokee. It's working like a charm.

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Cyanogenmod. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Code:
* Your warranty is now void.
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

We need to disable LiveDisplay in custom ROMs to prevent laging. If you keep LiveDisplay on, your phone will lag.

Dude I know its P8 lite forum and also know that haky 86 used to build roms for kirin 620 chipset generically which 4c has too , thats why i asked for his both latest builds.
As we 4C users flash most of the p8lite ROMS and use them as the guys owing p8lite device mostly without any extra bugs or issues.Thats why asked for conformation in the new roms thread.
I hope you got my point if not browse the p8lite threads you will get to know what i am asking.

Welcome to CyanogenMod!
What is CyanogenMod?
CyanogenMod (CM) is a discontinued popular open-source operating system for mobile devices, based on the Android mobile platform. It was developed as free and open-source software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added original and third-party code, and based on a rolling release development model. Although only a subset of total CyanogenMod users elected to report their use of the firmware, on March 23, 2015, some reports indicated that over 50 million people ran CyanogenMod on their phones. It was also frequently used as a starting point by developers of other ROMs.
Features:-Stock Android Experience
-One of the most popular custom ROM's
-Very fast & stable
What's working:
-Audio
-RIL
-GPS
-Screen
-Touch
-NFC
-WiFi
What's not working:
-Second SIM Card slot
-Youtube 720p 60fps
-Video Recording (fixable with Footej Camera)
Installation:-Just as any other ROM: Make normal wipe(factory reset) or advanced wipe and just flash the ROM.

26/11/2017: https://mega.nz/#!BsZxXaKS!EnB01hI_KXQBQK5MlkjQVhkICvcUSGf4COoFTHqAZiIF.A.Q:Q: Why did you post this when this is the same as LOS 13?
A: This ROM seems much faster for me, also maybe some people want it.
Q: Why does everybody make same ROM's with same source code?
A.1: Because for many people it is difficult to make a full source code and a fully-working ROM.
A.2: Because our source code is very bugged at the moment. If you want a ROM without RIL, WiFi and other important functions tell me.
Q: Will this ROM will be updated? Because it is very buggy.
A: Yes. It will be updated to the latest OpenKirin source hopefully this week.

Please, can you put a link to kernel source code using in this ROM, to OP ? As you already may know, any modification added in kernel source code should be visible in your github for everyone - this is mandatory for everybody here on XDA, which release only kernel or ROM with a kernel inside ! Not releasing the source of the kernel, means non-compliance kernel GPLv2 ! ( [Mandatory] XDA-Developers and the GPL )
It's up to you to release device-vendor tree, as is not mandatory ... ( and I already see it, you use OpenKirin device-vendor tree/blobs ! )
Thanks !

It's easy to build multiple ROMs, if you have a working device tree. Some people like some ROMs better than other. surdu_petru said he is able to build a ROM pretty quickly, so why not? Also, maybe the source of the ROM is different in some part and has more or improved code, so maybe some features will work better with the same device tree.

Tested and 2 sim work
Battry acceptable
No lag
I have just issue with sleep of death
Thanks

I installed a substratum theme and after a reboot, the system get totally destroyed. I even can't test all the ROM.
I'll reinstall the ROM to try it again.
Whatever, thank you so much.
(EDIT: I just needed update substratum)
I can do an update from aospa? Or i can do a wipe data?

CarbonROM is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware based on Android 7.1.2, created with the goal to reach the best stability and performance. Our vision is to be the best alternative to your Stock Android firmware which came out of the box.
CarbonROM is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. The CarbonROM does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
For more information about features take a look here: https://carbonrom.org

Important Notes
This build wasn't planned to be published here in XDA since it was only built for a friend of me using still the Huawei P8Lite.
After a while I decided to publish it here that more people can use this ROM. Since I only own an Honor 6X I can't provide regulary updates of the ROM because without the phone in my hands it's nearly impossible to work on it. Do not expect more contributing or any updates with fixed bugs on this ROM and please don't ask for it.
Anyway... Happy flashing!

at the beginning I was presented with many performance bugs such as massive lag, red edges when owning lag, constant restarts.
Fixed hack kernel flashing 0.2 nougat, installing magisk and kernel auditor, turning off the 3 cores (leaving the first) then turning on the four cores and ready, fixed lag although sometimes there's lag in some apps or at the beginning
Sometimes there's a bootloop until you plug in ypur phone.
Can I use it without LTE SIM?
Is there any way to use this room without an LTE Sim card?

What are the differences of dual boot patcher (that we currently have) and multirom? Pros and cons?

I was using slim roms from my xperia x8 and miss this rom too much.
You have no idea how much im happy to see slim rom for mi max2.

I think we have to be honest and believe that Mi Max 2 is not popular so much. we have not many developers that working on custom rom for this phone.
so we have to be more grateful to pranavaryans.
Thank you man.

Maybe you are doing too much too soon. Pick a couple of projects that you can update regularly and then release them. I for one would be happy to use slim nougat given its updated regularly.

My only request would be to add microg support to it.
OT - have you considered any gzosp base rom for development? IMO, they seem to be more smoother than others. I have experienced that on mido
