Hello, i'm currently on Los 14.1.
Should i flash this multi rom via twrp by wiping everything and after that flash Viper OS?
So that there won't be backlight or hotspot issues?

The multirom firmware should be flashed after flashing whatever ROM you're going to use.
Also the multirom firmware should be flashed after ROM upgrades too unless its bundled with the ROM.

problem got
1. on lockscreen carrier label showing no service evening after setting up in sim setting preferred network type
2.turn on weather info on lockscreen but weather information no available
3. problem in auto brightness increase auto
4.camera performance not good

1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:
3.) What to do if my SafetyNet is not passed ??
Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

The mobile data connectivity of this rom is pretty fast. Tested it.

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I got bootloop , it just loading DND bootanimation.
Before installation I was on latest stock update (android 7). I unlock bootloader, install TWRP , then I wipe everything (,data,cache,system,etc...), after that I flash ROM. I got bootloop, so I flashed EliteKernelReborn_v5+_with_Normal_Brightness., but its the same problem.
Please guys help me (write your own procedure).

If the rom uses ext4 you don't need to change the data but if it uses f2fs you need to change it when you change rom.

Use opengapps, arm64, version for andrid 7.1 and choose micro package.

Great rom it's very fluid, more fluid than RR that I used so far. I was wondering what are patches for, everything working great whitout them, and is there a way to change size of nav bar and turn off fp vibration.

1st Wipe only Data, Cache, Delvik & System.
Install rom,
Reboot Recovery
Format data, (Now data is F2fs)
Change it to EXT4.
Reboot recovery
Reboot system.

yeah i overlooked the f2fs i changed to ext 4 and it works tnx a lot )))

Booted up normally with magisk 14.0... but doesn't want to update to 15.2... (not booting with update)

Also, is it possible to bring back some EMUI apps ? I really liked gallery, contacts & dialer... but hated the messages app...

So, yeah... used this ROM for a day so far... works without any bugs... great so far... (haven't tested OTG yet... don't have the cable... LOL)
Only downsides:
*to me it seems like ROM has poor RAM management... (compared to Elite or Stock roms).
*camera app kinda sucks... I'd like to get back EMUI one... maybe as a flashable ZIP or something...

Wow thank you mate. Finally arrived to my Wayne. So far no issues found, pretty smooth ROM. Mine 1st boot got booted without any issues. (converted 6X)

I've waited for like 10 mins to boot with stock kernel, but strangely it never comes to success.
I restored other rom's stock kernel and it booted in just 2-3 mins.
Overall this rom have good feature.
OMS is fully supported, just volume control isn't controling ringtone whenever i'm not playing any media.

Found one bug yet: "Hey Google" doesn't work.
Rest works like a charm
Very smooth and snappy. Changed animation timing to zero, now very snappy

Bug Report (may be hardware related, maybe source related) Bluetooth doesn't seem to work for me in most if not all Android 12 roms I've tried, including this one. I go to turn it on, it stays stuck on turning on bt, then when you navigate away from either QS or in settings > connections > bt, then go back to it, it has turned off again. Tried with and without Magisk 24.3 installed as a zip immediately after installing rom, still happens.
Tried this rom dated 2022-04-15, LineageOS 19.1 - 2022-04-12, Project Elixir 1.5, and ArrowsOS (both Vanilla with at first go NikGapps and the FlameGapps, and GAPPS) version 2022-03-17. All were data wiped, then wiped system, vender, cache, dalvik, data, and internal between installs. It seems to work under official Android 10 firmware, if that helps. Haven't tried under Android 11.
Using an Australian s9 Starlte
EDIT: Beginning to think it's a bt hardware issue, as I don't usually use bt under stock, due to only having one other device to connect to, being a laptop, and it being slower than molasses to transfer files via bt.

Solid rom.
I only use my older S9+ for connection to ext display, with all enabled in dev settings I can't get output using USB-C > HDMI or USB-C > DP+PD
Any others note this? Usually no issues on AOSP roms

update
if any one face same problem Boot the phone into recovery, then navigate to TWRP -> Advanced -> File Manager -> Data -> System -> Users -> 0. Here, delete all files with the name "Wallpaper" (usually the last ones) and reboot.

I think no since Vanilla builds will broken some features.

Since DerpFest itself is now EOL, so this thread also be closed.
