Hi,
I recently flashed my HTC Touch HD with EnergyROM and the latest radio.
While the new rom is great and sooooo much better than the crappy Orange UK one, I now regularly loose all reception and when I do have it, SMS and phone calls don't come through.
There could be 3 bars or so but callers are sent straight to voicemail.
Would this be a radio issue or could it be the ROM?

Try disabling 3G always on and see if it helps you...

Would that turn off 3G altogether? Also why would it make a different? Is it the radio or the ROM?

Hello,
I suspect the Radio is the issue.
If not mistaken, EnergyROM doesn't include Radio.
Did you upgrade the Radio independently from the ROM?
Did you upgrade to the latest 1.13xxxx RadioROM?
Did you instal the RILxxx cab for that radio?
If you answer yes to any of the above questions, you should downgrade your Radio to 1.12xxx.
Don't forget to uninstall the 1.13xxxx RIL cab shall you install it earlier.

Yes I have tried various radios but never installed the RIL*** files. I am now installing the 12.25.25 radio and its counterpart RIL file.
I will see how I get on.

Now I want to know why android 4.1.2 cann't supply fm radio. fm radio for 4.0.4 work but not very well.
