SystemUI FC after installing .51 update - Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Questions & Answers

Hello guys, can anyone help me? I just updated phone from 47.1.A.2.281 =>47.1.A.2.324 =>47.1.A.2.374 => 47.1.A.5.51 And then after phone booted up I just saw the pop-up "SystemUI Force Closed"
Flashtool doesnt support 2017 Xperia phones and NewFlasher doesnt want to work for me. I just dont know what to do now...

Okay, after like hundred of tries i finally managed to Start "Repair Tool" in Xperia Companion and my phone is now alive

my apology for hi jacking the wrong thread. Kindly redirect me to the appropriate xperia zr thread. experiencing difficulty locating it manually. Thanx for the advice. Tired to use the emma flashtool from sony developer website. After unlocking the bootloader and running the file i received a message: "No available services matched the connected device."

[Q] Bootloop on C5302 - No ROOT, 4.3

Hello guys.
Almost 2 weeks ago I had a really strange issue with my SP. I force stopped a Sony Select app, and then my device got in bootloop - over and over again, never stopping. I got home and repaired it successfully with PC Companion.
Now, it happened again... But it wasn't Sony Select Force Stopping now. I changed my theme - to a downloaded one; the wallpaper wasn't showing. Redownload the same theme - the same issue. Then I also got no wallpaper on the other themes... I thought of restarting the device. Then, SURPRISE! Bootloop.
Now I am repairing my phone again using PC Companion.
If anybody knows what causes this issue, please let me know, I never ever rooted this device, only upgraded via PC Companion, not other sources.
Thank you.

Even if I updated with PC Companion, the firmware might be corrupted? So I'll. need.to flash another one from a different region?

But I'm from EU. I'll probably try another one from EU.
Even so, what really caused this?
There is not always a cause we can point out. Sometimes the systems gets messed up for some reason. You can Flash General EU from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2645939

[Q] 757 update problem

Hey guys .. so I found the new 14.3.A.0.757 update on PC companion, but when I tried to update my phone i found this message pop up
unable to communicate with sony update engine error 10
Needless to say that my network works just fine .. and pc companion is allowed on firewall
please help anyone ?? thanks in advance
Have you tried reinstalling it? For me I always get "Syncing" and it sometimes says I need the pro version to sync.
Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Take a look at here
Hope this help
i use PCC to check whether is the firmware out for the region or not.
if out, i will use SEUS to update it. PCC like take even longer time to update it.

Phone Bricked :( drivers needed

I got my phone a week ago used. I had previous xperiance (no pun intended :crying: ) with a xperia ray and had it running all types of roms. Wanting to have the same experience i tried to flash cm11 for locked bootloader and it all went wrong. I didnt even flash it. I was formating the cache and cmw touch froze. I waited 5 min and nothing happened. So i did the off thing in the back and now it gets stuck on sony logo. If conected to the computer nothing happens but green led then red and stops at sony logo. I tried flashtool but it says no drivers and i cant find them. I used sus and it cant detect phone. Pc starts to install something when plugging in but then stops. I have c5306. Can someone walk me through this?:crying: I had 4.3 so i dont think sus would work. Even if i cant fix does anyone know where i can have it repaired in victoria bc for cheap? I bought it mint for 125 from friend and dont want to spend over 50. Maybe even 25.
Thanks,
Ethan
I said it before, there's no such thing as a fully bricked Xperia SP unless you're having hardware issues.
Try installing the following drivers: http://doomlord.xperia-files.com/download.php?dlid=Rmxhc2h0b29sLWRyaXZlcnMtMS41LTIwMTQwMzE4
Then run flashtool again in order to flash your ftf file.
Thanks for your reply but I already fixed it. I earlier tried sus to fix but it wouldn't get recognized so I thought that pcc wouldn't either. But last night I was in a very passed off mood that I tried it and.it worked! Now I'm on stock 4.3 rooted with towelroot. I don't think I'm gonna go for custom rim until I have unlocked bootloader. I will take a look at drivers though. Thanks
