Anyone else have trouble with fitbit notifications? Have to re-enable after every rbt - Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Questions & Answers

I have a fitbit blaze and i have to reenable the notifications everytime i reboot the phone. It then prompts me to allow the fitbit notification service access which i have to toggle off and then back on. I've searched on fitbit resources and the common things suggested there(clear cache, reinstall app) haven't worked.

Not getting push notifications for Facebook on my Mi3

Hi guys
I haven't been receiving any push notifications for Facebook on my Mi3 since the day I bought it. I played around with the settings, set the right permissions, hard reset my phone a few times, but it still doesn't work.
I have no problem in receiving push notifications from other apps though. It's just facebook that doesn't work.
Please advise
Thanks

***FINALLY got the push notifications for Facebook working on my Mi3***
Anyone else who is facing the same problem but have already set facebook to auto start, cleared data and have done everything they could and it's still not working, here is the fix that worked for me.
Go to your facebook account (web) and under settings > notifications check whether your Text Notifications are disabled or not. If it's disabled, enable it and check if you get the notifications on your phone. If you do, you can turn off the Text notifications and check again. Mine still works even after I turned it back to OFF.
Back in love with my Mi3

Refresh Radios/Autosync

My current issue is that my phone seems to not receive notifications occasionally. For example, I could receive an email(gmail) or a groupme message and it doesn't register until I open the app. Usually a reboot fixes the issue and on power on I have about 20 unread notifications or so. I've tried debugging out the issue (power options, factory reset, chat with att and samsung) but I have not been able to solve the problem.
I was wondering if there is a way to "refresh" these radios/notification system using tasker? Alternatively, if it is not possible I can just create a task that reboots my phone once a day, but I was hoping for a better solution.
Check to see if Autosync is enabled in settlings.
It should be in Accounts, possibly in a three-dot menu.

Google Voice, Garmin Connect, other apps mysteriously stop in background -- help...

I've noticed that at least two apps will mysteriously stop working in the background, causing problems:
First, most important, I use my Google Voice number, not my SIM number, so I need Google Voice to be running so that it intercepts my calls and uses the right phone number to make calls. If I open Google Voice, it will work for a few hours, maybe a day, and then GV stops working and calls start going out through my SIM number.
The other app that exhibits this behavior is Garmin Connect -- my watch gives me notifications, but then, for no reason, it will stop working. Opening Garmin Connect solves the problem.
I have ensured all permissions are set as liberally as possible, even the "allow autostart" option. Not sure what else to do. Any ideas would be great. I did not have this problem with my Mi 8.
Thanks!
I think I had a similar problem with the Runtastic app that I use for running: After around one minute of screen off time it would stop getting GPS data.
I fixed it by adding it to the list of apps that is allowed to run in the background. You can find this setting in the power and battery settings ("Akku & Leistung" in German).
I think you are talking about the Battery Saver > Choose apps ("Saving power in the background") list. In that list, you can set background settings for each app. I had both of these apps already set to the most liberal setting, "No restrictions (Battery saver doesn't restrict app's activity)". I changed them both to the second setting, "Battery saver (recommended)", which seems to be an automated, smart method the phone uses.
I also decided to try turning off the Use Adaptive Battery setting ("Limit battery for apps that you don't use often"). Maybe this is the culprit.
Any luck there yet? My vivo active hr does not even show live notifications....

Missing notifications

I am running EX Kernel, Magisk, Edexposed, and Blackenedmod. I used to have all notifications come just fine to my phone and my smartwatch. Recently I stopped receiving certain notifications.
For example Snapchat no longer sends me a notification if someone is typing or if a message has been sent to me. I notice I have to open Snapchat before it pulls a chat update request from their server. Also, I have games that notify me about stuff every few hours/daily reset, but I no longer get those notifications either for those games.
Could I have done something to my phone where some apps give me notifications but others don't? I checked settings and no notifications are disabled. Wear OS is also set to disable notifications on my phone while I'm wearing the watch but I had that setting on before and got notifications just fine. Any ideas for me?
Edit: fixed Snapchat by reinstalling it. But reinstalling my game won't give me the passive notifications.

Question Notifications

I just need any help. I'm trying to figure out why with apps like Snapchat and Facebook. I'm not getting their designated notification sounds. I go into the app settings and it says the notifications are on but then I go to my phone settings and for those particular apps it's set on my phone's default notification which is really annoying. It doesn't even have a app provided toggle that I could even turn on. Any help would be appreciated.
I had an issue with Instagram's notifications. Even though looking through the apps notifications they were all on, I was not getting any at all. It turned out that I did the Google transfer of apps for my old phone to my new phone, and that was why. What I did was clear all cache and data, and then start over by signing in and allowing notifications when the pop-up showed. I didn't get the pop-up the first time I open the app after the transfer, so I'm 99.9% sure that's why. Try clearing cache and data, and then start over by signing in like you just downloaded the app.

Thank you so much! I kind of figured that out as well because I uninstalled it then reinstalled it and everything was fine after that.
