Check apps2sd https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.co.pricealert.apps2sd&hl=fi
You can link(move) apps to sd-card with it. You just need to partition your sdcard to FAT32(this partition will work like normal sd-card) and to ext4(this partition will be where apps are linked) partition.
Remember to backup sd-card to somewhere before partitioning.

Fat32 I understand but how I can formate to ext4?

[Q] SD issue

So I recently got the "almost out of space" notification and I realized that it says that I only have 2.7 gb total for my sd card (4 gb card). I remembered way back when i formatted a ext3 partition to it for apps2sd, but that was when i was running an older version of Fresh. I have since switched to CM6, and as best I can tell its not installing apps to that partition.
Gparted is saying theres only one partition available (2.7 gb), and is calling it unallocated space. Im not really keen on how android uses different partitions, so i had a few questions:
1. Can i backup all files on the card to my comp, format the card, then copy them back without losing any data/ apps?
2. Should i format it all as one partition (and if so what filesystem)?
3. Would formatting the card with a partition for swap benefit me at all?
Great question! I'd like to know too.

Are you talking about the internal memory is getting low notification in the status bar? If so, that is not your SD, it's internal memory. Check in settings/storage and see what it says. I think the warning comes up if you go below 20-25mb.
Also, CM6-7 roms do not come with a2sd/firerats/data2ext/etc. You would need to do that seperately if you want.
The notification was from the card, and I dunno what its called, but when I check an app in the apps management setting theres an option to move to phone/sd card.

How can i increase the rom size?

Is there any way to repartition the size of rom?
i want to combine all internal sd card space to the rom and make the external sd card as for the only one of sd card.
Can i edit the pit file to do that? and how?
thanks for your help

You want to combine the internal storage and the usb storage into one storage space and the internal and external sd storage become just sd storage?

Yes
I would like to do this too, I know it is possible because my Motorola Xoom does this. I was surprised that the ICS update didn't reformat the internal storage to work this way.
The internal "/data" partition stores both application and "user" data and it is done by having a subfolder of the data partition mounted as the "internal sdcard" (/mnt/sdcard) by a special filesystem that strips all user permissions from the files.
That way as far as the OS is concerned all the data is on one unified partition so I could install 20G worth of apps if I liked, yet all the applications that download data or expect music to be on the sdcard have everything in the right place.
The extra sd card shows up as /mnt/external1

I have tried to do this by editing the "vold.fstab" file in the etc folder. However I have not been successful. I can only switch between the internal and external sdcard.
Each time I failed I have to recopy the original vold.fstab file before the Note working again if I am lucky. Most of the time I have to reflash the rom again. You can get some information from the following thread:

Get back Internal SDcard for apps storage

Hello!
Yesterday I found a fact, that my Note doesn't want to use my internal sdcard for applications storage ("Android" folder) anymore. The problem is that my external sdcard formatted for use with NTFS, so i can't update any app which automatically installs part of themselves to sdcard. without unmounting external sdcard before.
So, how can I get back my internal sdcard for using as default storage for applications installation, if they need it? THX!
Okay, i tried to wipe data and reflash LRK 4.0.4 ROM with mobile ODIN, I also tried to format internal sdcard and it doesn't helped too. I still can't move apps to internal sdcard as before due of insufficient space, despite i have about 4 gigs free on it.

[Q] [SOLVED] [Xperia V] Only 3.7 GB available from 8GB internal SD Card

Anyone used the V to backup and restore using CWM 6.0.1.2.
When doing mine, it reduced my internal memory to 3.7 GB rather than keeping it at 8GB.
Any ideas how ti get it back to the correct size?
Regards
Does anyone know how to completely delete partitions on the internal SD using adb or something?
I just want the full amount of memory to be visible again
Cheers
My internal storage got corrupted some time ago, wiping internal sdcard in recovery did solve my problem..
Why would you like to do it in adb?
I used CWM to create a backup, when it was 'freeing up space' it resized my internal SD card to 3.71 GB (used to be 8GB).
Ive tried a format in recovery already, but the size does not change, i want to know if there is a way to look at / manage the internal SD card partitions to see what CWM has done, and then format or restore it from there.
Cheers
.. Ok so u can't fill up your internal sdcard above 3.7gb right?
idk much about partitions..
But what if u mount the internal storage as MSC mode (instead of MTP?)
Correct, the internal card is just not showing the right available space.
I have not found a way to mount the internal SD card as MSC yet, been looking, so i could possibly then use mini partition tool on it.
I remember Doomload had a way for the Xperia S, could check to see if it works for the V.
i´m not sure but i have read somewhere that only 3,7 Gb is user available
http://www.prisjakt.nu/produkt.php?e=1398673
that´s in swedish can be difficult to understand but there is stated about it, i dunno if it is correct
Hmmm, i actually never noticed that, could be right all along then.. thanks for that, ill have a scout round to confirm if thats the case. Seems strange, why would 4GB be required on an SD card. Either way, at least i know it's ok now, haha.
Regards
[EDIT]
Confirmed, 3.7 available

need help sd card partition to be used as internal memory and portable

hi all!!
i have xperia sp 8 gb!! installing few app takes lot of space .. with the new feature in marshmallow (installed cm13)
where we can use sd card as internal memory and move app + whole data. however if we use that function the data is encrypted and we cant flash anything using twrp or even cant install the updates.
so i wanted to create a partition where 25-50% can be used as internal and rest as portable!!
i have tried to create partition using TWRP .. result failed.. nothing really happened ,, tried both ext3/ext4 and after reboot the sd card detected has to be used either as portable or internal
then i tries app2sd and link2sd both are again not able to create partition.
app2sd has option to create adoptable storage which it actually created and i could see 25% as internal and 75% as external however when i tried to move app it was just like move to sd card.. where app was moved to adoptable storage and data still remains in internal memory!!
anyone can please help... in short i want to use my sd card both as internal and external storage!!
internal : to move big apps with data
external : so that i can flash apps/ install updates!!
thanks in advance
