I was trying the swiping pattern lock today and somehow the pattern i recorded earlier was not recognise by my phone. After a few attempts my phone lock itself up and only ask to sign in to my google account. I entered my google details and even that was also denied by my phone. So far i have tried rebooting, factory reset, pull the batt out and all of em still do not unlock my phone, it still ask me to log in to my google account. pls help me!
did happen to me once on a xperia x10, simply flash your firmware, and it should do the trick. thats what I did.
I am on 6.1 and I went to reset my phone it is locked I havent done any modding to it. it went into recovery and said erasing for about 10 minutes so I went to restart the phone and now it says i need a password to start it. But I never had a password. Any way to get this thing back up and running. It is oem locked
After a reset you need to enter the password for the Google account you used on the phone prior to the reset. This is to verify that it's your phone...
At some point a password was set. The only way you would be prompted to enter a password is if you had set one at some point in the past by setting up a Google account.
You need to know that password, as it's the only way to get back into the device. If you don't know it for whatever reason, you're screwed.

I have a friend with Huawei P9 Plus with this Firmware VIE-L29C636B103, i don't know what is in his mind on that time but unfortunately after restarting the phone he forgot his PIN to unlocked the phone and the fingerprint was not working. As far as i know, the only solution is by Factory Reset the phone, but he did not want to loose his data. Is there any way to solve this problem?

No still original without custom recovery. Can i use TWRP to backup first the data ?
The problem is that you not unlock and then root yet. You basically can't use TWRP. If unlock bootloader, the phone will be immediately wipe data.

He or you could've used it to delete ". key" -files through adb. But that is only useful to have access to the data. You can't set new fingerprints or delete any of them because he must know his forgotten password for it. So it would only be a temporary solution.
Unlocking the bootloader never erased my data. It couldn't cause of some failure appeared at let's say 30%. But I'm not certain that the failure appears also on his phone. Which leads to my suggested solution:
He should try to remember the password and include any typos(yes, typos. My pin was 85320 but it also happened that i typed two times the false pin. The outcome was 85350. Huawei's layout was kinda bull**** and vulnerable for that type of failures. At least to me.) As I know it must be a PIN, not a password. If that fails get rid of the data and make a factory reset.

Today i connect the P9 Plus Phone USB to HiSuite in Windows 10, i just leave this around 5 minutes and suddenly it connected to HiSuite automatically. Now i'm still backing up the data pictures, etc. Still wondering why in windows 10 it can connected automatically than in windows 7 After backup finished i'm gonna factory reset the phone.
My mistake on comments on unlocking bootloader will erase date since I mixed up the process. Now I remembered that after unlock, if you proceed further to root the phone, the phone will have to erase the data immediately. No option for you to choose not to erase data during rooting process if not mistaken. That's why I dare not to root again the phone.

How to use adb ???
spammy is at it again ,Strangest thing happened, rooted this phone has interped rom, been worki fine and decided to give it to a friend and he told me the next day after using it that this screen shows up and then powers down just has a Blank screen afterwards, can't get into recovery or downlaod mode .
Before I gave it to him I removed all my accounts from the device ,went to settings to factory reset ,restarted and loaded twrp and it worked fine when I gave it to.him. does not give opportunity to put Google password now, appreciate any advice
i have a huawei p smart fig-lx1.
it's my own phone and now i have done hard reset to reset phone but now i can't get pass my google account verification. I have the email address of the phone and when I enter this I can enter the password associated with the account and then it jumps back to start account verification. I can even use recovery email address from this account but still I don't get back in my phone. Also texting or calling the phone number that I have provided as recovery number that belongs to this account of the phone works. I get code when I use sms recovery option on phone and this code is good because I can change my password on this phone but still the account verification keeps telling me to use the registered account on phone!
its original phone and i believe android oreo and frp locked and also bootloader. please help. Chat whit dc unlocker tells me this phone can not be unlocked this bootloader. So iam ****ed so to say.. sorry for language gramma,, tamino
