I heard there is a new camera app with the Oreo update. How is it? Can you notice improvements in issues as shutter lag or frontal camera not focusing properly? Is the depth effect improved?

Is there an option on Google Camera where you can manual focus the camera while recording? It's frustrating when the camera is out of focus for a good 5 seconds while recording.. If you can't, any good camera apps you guys suggest?

I think at the very least you should have an option for wide angle or standard selfie camera now.
hello all ! i noticed, our op3t's default stock camera (OOS 9.0.4) is heavily over sharpening and denoising our photos. which is i think, ruining the quality of op3t's capability. i tried freedcam with De-noise turned off and sharpness slider to 2, the photos came out absolutely stunning and natural looking.. so , please, is there any way to disable the denoise on stock camera ? thanks in advance !
maybe use Gcam Mod it is a lot better than oneplus cam
Since my note 9 camera is buzzing/vibrating on 2 x zoom on the stock camera app,can anyone suggest another camera app which will produce crisp pictures and videos.The app should use full potential of the note 9 camera module,except for the the buzzy camera.

Any camera app other than the stock camera will produce clearer pictures while zoomed in, simply because the telephoto camera (which is the culprit) is only available in the stock camera app. Digital zoom and the main lens is used instead; The best and in the end the most convenient solution is to simply replace the camera module.
