if it doesnt boot with f2fs, then use ext4... i don't believe that there is much difference of speed in both file systems

I have the same problem with all Lineage based roms. I currently use Elite Rom 7.1 and is working great even the sim. If anyone could solve this problem would be great. [VNS-L21 device]

Believe me, i edited phone.prop exactly as in the image and i've searched most of the forums toate solve it. There are people with same problem as mine and none of them fond a solution...

Did you try to flash vendor from your stock rom? And then do the steps for editing phone.prop?
I can also send you mine phone.prop but i doubt that it will work because every model has its own modem id...

No, I did not try to flash my stock vendor because I did not wipe it before flashing the Rom. I also tried with Elite Rom's vendor and got the same problem. I tried different Lineage based roms and got the same result. Maybe C432 devices has a different RIL settings than other models. I'm not a developer and I can't completely understand those type of bugs or whatever they are. :silly:

You are probably right about c432... My "out of the box" region code was c66 and i rebranded it almost year ago to c432.
Either way, ril should be fixed for all because meticulus fixed it and i beleve that those codes are implemented in this rom too. Now just by disabling second sim option in extra settings and rebooting after that should make your sim usable again...

It doesn't... I've followed carrefully every single step from flashing the rom untill the last part of fixing the "no service" problem many times with different roms. As i said, there are other users with this problem who did the same steps to fix it and got no result.

You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

Add ur modem support as instructed...and disable the dual sim from extra menu...it should work then...

go to settings and then extras... there are many options

hyperactive rom using openkirin vendor,,, which will never ever boot with it,,, i will soon post stock vendor for all... use stock vendor,, get from ur stock rom,,, or flash elite rom nd vendor will get install automatically,,, or install stock rom then this rom,,,

I use only super su for elite rom,work fine for me
Hi Hassan, This is the 1st rom from you, That I can flashed & used successfully without any problem (just need to reboot recovery & format data, after flash this rom). All are going well/Smooth.
I don't have so many big big requirements.
I have some noob questions,
double tap on status bar to sleep,
quick panel row & column setting,
Add quick panel setting icon like screen timeout.
Add quick panel setting icon Reboot normal/recovery
multi Reboot option in power button
Is this are only in RR rom? Or how can I do this in this rom?

Fix issue with audio crashing when creating effects.

1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

I installed and tried it. I like it very much. Looking for a way to restore apps and settings from a Hisuite - backup. Titanium cannot save/restore contacts and messages (files are .db and the linux-sqlite-tool didn't work)? Is there a way to enable the FM-Radio (analog)? Substratum doesn't work so good, but I could install a Live-Wallpaper. Supersu works rudimentary, I had do set default action from 'ask' to 'allow' to enable root in apps.

You need to be on emui5 to use this rom. So if you are on emui5 unlock bootloader, flash twrp, flash rom and gapps.

When coming from stock to this ROM or one of the other Lineage-based ROMs, yours prompts for a pre-boot decryption password and crashes on attempts to encrypt, while the other doesn't, using the apparently included default. That includes upstream TWRP releases.
Any data I could supply to help get FDE working on this? Might be useful for your other 11/R-based ROMs, if this occurs on them, as I haven't checked.

You xan flash magisk to avoid and i recommend you to other recoveries which has extended features for orangefox they disable forcencryption

I know, however I actually find forceencryption valuable, in spite of it's shortcomings, and the linked Lineage 17.1 ROM makes it work (and makes TWRP work with it, too). The solution I would be looking for is not to disable, but rather support it.

Disk encryption is not stable yet on android 11 you should wait untill it get stable or better go with android 10 ROMs
Seems to be squared off in upstream. Since there's no official support for MSM8917, if you're tracking changes from a different device's tree, which device is it?

hi, i've been testing this rom, and i haven't been able to make it work with my sim card. The official rom works fine, and other sim cards from other vendors work fine on this rom.
I tried flashing the official firmware fw_rolex_miui_HM4AGlobal_V10.2.3.0.NCCMIXM_69d07208fd_7.1.zip, but I couldn't get it to work either.
Lineageos 17.1 doesn't work either.

Update your recovery to the latest orangefox recovery which has 4.9 kernel
Wipe data vendor system cache and dalvik cache before flashing the rom
Restore perisist backup (look for redmi 4a persist backup if you don't have)
Hi. I've been having a problem with this new build. After a while, after waking up the phone from deep sleep, I can't open any app or phone setting. The apps just stay loading. Programmed tasks like alarms don't work, either. I have to reboot the phone every once a while as a workaround. This problem was also present in Lineage OS 17, but it didn't happen with Thagoo's older LOS 18.1 build on Telegram. Maybe it's due to the new blocked wakelocks?

Sorry, I guess It was a hardware problem. I had another xiaomi redmi 4a and it worked there so i just switched phones. Thank you anyway.

This one has more customizations and features, also has the pixel launcher and dialer already installed.
Thanks for this ROM, first impressions seem good.
Only thing I had an issue with is that on clean install with TWRP on OS boot it rebooted to recovery and needed to be reset, setup and then to flash TWRP.

Voice match (ok google) doesn't work (the same issue in the spark os a12 build).
I've read it can be because google is not a system app. (Trying this may fix it?)
Just found another bugs. After rooting mtp connection lost (same issue on Corvus OS, anyone haven't know how to fix it); After rooting there are no icons in the apps list in the stock launcher.
About first one. After rooting persist.sys.usb (~similar toggle name in build.prop) was set to none. I've changed it to mtp,adb with no result.

Switching from ArrowOS to this rom, great job, everything work as expected.
Most of features are present , very fluid.
Hope this rom will be continued and updated with monthly security patches.
I'm not interested by cosmetic changes or pixels arrangements or rounded corners.
It's a big chance to have developpers supporting roms for this (old) phone.
Let's go back to main purpose of a phone with security and speed.

I rooted my device too. There's no problem for me.
When will this ROM be official? In my opinion everything is working good.
