Wow anytime bro thanks! I discovered this thing called Google. Amazingly I was able to find answer to your question in under a min. XDA in under 30secs. You obviously didn't try that hard.

The info I found is that me2151 was working on it and made some progress, but has recently closed the case and has abandoned the project. I hope someone else picks up the work and gets xposed for our rootable Note 8. Please let me know if I am wrong and provide links.

@me2151 Is there any possible to use xposed on note8 Snapdragon?

I saw that s8 has it working from partycyborg, but I don't know why it doesn't work on the note 8. Maybe ask partycyborg what version and how he got it working on the snapdragon version of s8.

It works because S8 works fine with xposed. has nothing to do with his rom specifially. S8 uses 7.0 and we use 7.1 thats the problem

Still wanna see if someone still on rev2 Bootloader uses PC'S G955U FW(swap our pit file) and his 2nd files (have to swap out his abl.elf and nonhlos.bin for note 8 versions before flash) if they could then use Xposed. I upgraded my boot to 3 so can't load his rom anymore (well the part 1 but not part 2)

[HELP][PATCH][G800H] Project Lucky ROM for S5 Mini — Fingerprint [SOLVED]

Hey guys, I don't know if all of you already know about that, but I am the guy who is making the Patch for S5 Mini get support for this ROM.
This ROM is for now only for S3 Neo, but soon it will get support for S5 Mini and Grand 2.
About S5 Mini, Fingerprint support is missing, cause: I don't know exactly.
I want to ask if someone could help me giving or saying where are the Fingerprint files needed to make it works (I already know the FingerprintService and the File in system/etc/permissions). I would be grateful if anyone help me to find it.
Feel free to help and thank you for any help
EDIT 13/11/16 [DD/MM/YY]: I found the problem and now it is fixed (Fixed version didn't release yet - When it release S5 MINI I won't need any patch, only the ROM zip)
Thread link for S5 Mini:

You know about that Patch for making the fingerprint compatible to CM? Maybe that helps? You could ask @hennymcc he probably can help.
Or @CTXz because they made CM 13

Actually I already tried and I didn't fix it yet. If you know the name of the files necessary for it works... tell me, I just need it xD
Maybe CM have the same names, so if you have the patch for CM13 you could tell me them. Thx.

Hi,
Can this fix possibly work for a Marshmallow custom rom with a Note 7 framework? Or at least what is the process for making it working?

Oh yes, that would be great.
The rom is Smallwiz and it runs under the Note 7 framework. Other roms with the same framework (or S7 framework) exist but all the developers have given up on fixing the bug.

From what I read, it doesn't work anymore. However, if you have TWRP installed (If not you can use Odin to put it back on), you can use Magisk to successfully root.

This link is old, and offers only a superseded version of TWRP. So why post it?
This is the latest TWRP for the Note 7 that - based on my usage - works with the Note FE. I have successfully backed up my device and performed a full system, boot and data restore with this version.

It doesnt matter what firmware your on you have to format data to have twrp working properly.
So the answer is no, read the linked twrp thread would be helpful for future questions.

How can I enable USB-OTG in Recovery?
Currently, it is not working on 3.2.3.0 TWRP.
Can someone provide working source code for TWRP? (Code that will actually compile).

does it work on treble custom rom?

You should look around and search the forums for an answer before posting new threads because this clutters the forums.. We have been using the beta for awhile now.

If you're using N950U then it'll work fine just make sure you're on N950USQS5CRK1 firmware first before updating to 5DRL7 version.. You update by putting the file on your SD card and booting into recovery mode and then you select apply update from SD card select the file again and let it do it. And yes; it's for snapdragon models only.
Is this just a clean version or is it specifically for a certain carrier? I got it on my note 8 but now I can't use my Gear s3. It's says to make sure I'm using the right software version haha. Keep that in mind if you use it.

All the Note 8 firmware is universal, so it's for all carriers. It's not the unbranded U1 firmware if that's what you're asking, so it will have carrier bloatware.
As far as your S3 you need to download the Gear S Plugin from Apkmirror to make it work.
