Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

when applying wallpaper from homescreen use wallpaper app instead of gallery and you can set to either desktop or lockscreen

Even thought the file says Angler, I have successfully flashed it on my Nexus 5X running ABC 8.1 ROM and it works. So probably it should work on Mata too.
PS - This is untested by me on Mata. I am not running this ROM as I am travelling.
If someone is successfully able to get OK Google working, drop in a comment below.

Thanks for the response. I've been using stock 8.0 beta 2 with WiFi-calling functioning. I've since installed the ROM and can confirm that it's a no go, at least with TMobile.
Every time I flash twrp then reboot it gos back to bootloader instead of booting up fully, what am I doing wrong

Hello everyone! I started building AOKP roms a while back for the Galaxy Nexus and would like to support the Nexus4!
I've been running my own nightlys for a while now and figured I'd share with the community

the original dev thread is official AOKP supported.
Mine is unofficial. as of right now both are practically the same but when I start cherry picking this will be the same as that one plus extra features

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Everything is still being merged. Source is getting changes everytime. So asking for features is pointless as they are still being added. But already customisations are added and that too a lot just like LP roms. As my testers reported smoothness is also great. I havent used it on a1 so cant say about battery

sprout4 and sprout8 roms both work on all a1 devices
just u may get storage problems but they do boot fine

I'd recommend banks, open gapps sometimes give problems and guys about the error. I flashed it on my own phone, both sprout4 and sprout8 and both flashed and booted fine

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. Does DU work with f2fs format SD cards? Mine was working fine with RR and CM-13 and now DU can't seem to use it. Every time I try to access it it says "Unfortunately, Documents has stopped.". Restarting the phone does nothing to fix it.

Nope just 2 files, You can use whatever GApps you want. You don't have to flash both. Just giving options.

Sadly the development for Z00E/Z00ED is dead. No developers own that device, none is even interested building with the testers waiting since ages.
Does this work for ZE601KL?
No sound in ZE601KL (or whatever d name is) .. tried flashing that zip by CM 13 dev, but still..
Thank you for making this! I have a question. Is there any way to disable the hardware buttons? I found how to set the back, menu, and home buttons to do nothing but not for the recents one.
I presently have them disabled in the cm13 mod in this forum and really like having that. I'd love to use this ROM but need to have that.

Any news on the corrupt SD card issue? I'm running a ze551kl with a 32GB Samsung SD card with a f2fs format. SD works on RR and CM13 but it's corrupt on DU. Went back to CM13 and SD is fine. Seems odd.
just want to ask, can i dirty flash from official build to test or weeklies build? because mine just stuck on starting apps after flash from official to new test build.

Yes you can flash it. Just do clear data, system, cache and flash the rom no need to wipe internal.

Minor fixes and improvements
Thanks to Dev! Clean flashed EvolutionX stable version 4.5 yesterday on my Mi Max Helium (3gb/64gb) using TWRP. First time clean flashed without no-verity-opt-encrypt zip file but unfortunately my device booted to fastboot. Then I flashed both the ROM and no-verity-opt-encrypt zip files and was able to boot to system as usual. I did not flash Magisk yet. My previous ROM was MSM Extended. Now I've a problem setting my own mp3 file as ringtone! Would appreciate guide from Dev/experts for this!

1. I didn't use no-verity-opt-encrypt zip ever
2. What kind of problem do you have setting your own mp3 file as a ringtone? Just use 'My sounds' menu item and choose the required song.

Please follow this order of actions:
1. Open Magisk Manager and activate 'Magisk Hide' option there.
2. Clean data for 'Google Play Store' app.
3. Reboot your device and check Google Play Store certification once again

Sorry, but I didn't try to use the ROM without Magisk
Why don't you try to use Magisk hide for this app? I have a Magisk installed and my banking apps work fine without any issues.

Been using this ROM almost a month, for my daily driver. I'm not facing any bugs. Only when playing Mobile Legends, sometimes the game is freeze and glitch come out in screen.
I dont know it because the game, or what. Hopefully theres an updates, thank you developer to bring this ROM on Hydrogen. Its very recommended ROM for user like me

Thank you for the feedback.
I got a lot of reports about ROM freezing in the games for all my builds. As I can, this issue is related to the kernel which is common for all my ROMs. Unfortunately, I don't have the other kernel that works so stable as the current one.
As for the update... I will build an updated version once EvoX Team updates their sources
