[ROM][STOCK][TWRP][v9.5.10]Tissot Stock Oreo 8.0 Rooted/8.1 Leak - Xiaomi Mi A1 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other De

Code:
Warning! any damage done to your device is not my fault, use at your own risk!
Hi everyone, after seeing a lack of TWRP flash-able roms I decided to upload this, it is the latest stock rom of the Xiaomi A1, pre-rooted (although I attached stock kernel if you rather go root free)
Instructions:
First of all have at least 30% power on your device to avoid any power down during flash and possible bricking
1. In TWRP select zip and flash, please note that this will flash both A/B partitions (but not userdata partition)
2. After done, reboot
What's the use of this ZIP? if your like me and not always next to your PC to flash fastboot roms or if you want to return to stock or downgrade etc, you can do it using this.

Hey, thanks so much for this.
What's the recovery you suggest to use for this? The latest ones that I know of can't mount internal storage and data.
Any thoughts?

This works great
Use this to boot TWRP (fastboot boot [twrp_Image.img]):
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962157660013069602
then flash this from external SD
http://www.mediafire.com/file/338o7cl72z52rzz/twrp-3.2.1-1-installer-tissot-FIXED_By_DroiDMester.zip
After that internal/external will mount fine, the key is having it flashed, otherwise they don't mount if booted

Do we need to do a clean install or we can make a dirty install?

@sooti many thanks mate, this sounds really good. must try it. could you make one day (when you have looooot of free time) a deodexed version of this. I have tried that many times, but never got a working one.. my intention was to make an deodexed and google free version. but I suppose, I am to unexperienced.
thx!

Nah, i don't see the benefit of deodex plus the time it will take is just not worth it... i just wanted to share the stock solution since i got sick of flashing through fastboot/miflash or restoring using twrp... this is much faster and better

OK, no problem. Then I must work furthermore with Xposed Framework and FakeGapps and more.
But you're fully right: this flashing procedures via fastboot are annoying and making tired.
Cheers!

Thank you Sooti for this.
Exellent work.

If u planning to do some editing then not needed. Because the 8.0 Oreo in A1 is already deodexed for editing purpose. U don't need to deodex it for EDITING PURPOSE.

Thanks @@sooti for this ROM. I flashed it with TWRP and so far everything works great.
I have a question. After flash I directly flash stock boot.img, after boot to system and let everything settle down I boot back to recovery and it is now the stock recovery. Does this mean if there's OTA in future I can apply it?

The MM roms around are not pre-rooted. There is a bit of an issue with some tab s variants, apparently the 800 roots OK with beta from Chainfire but the T700 does not. Other devices (looking at an LG G3) that also have MM available are rootless also. Just early days but thanks for your comment.

Here you go. If it helps I placed files and set permissions using TWRP and the flash binary as a guide. It boots fine with all files/folders in place (done by hand) but as soon as I try to symlink the daemonsu file to appprocess then bootloop. But you probably knew that.
Good luck to you, it would be a legendary achievement!

You sir are a true hero. No, legend
I now have root. Need to mention that TWRP won't flash an .img file, neither will Odin. I converted the .img to an md5 and flashed with Odin, then flash the beta su with TWRP.
There are plenty of T700's that need this love, with your permission can I link to this post on the MM thread? I won't mention it till I get your OK.
Once again thank you.

I don't have the 2017 version, but what does it say? Can't you flash the system via fastboot? Or use stock recovery and force update to update it? Just remember that you need a FULL package. On most Huawei phones you can just flash a FULL package I'm TWRP. Just OTA doesn't work because it doesn't include a full system.img most of the times.

Sorry, I meant installing, not restoring. It's just bascally downloading the ROM, extracting the contents using Huawei update extractor, and using ADB to push the files in. You will need to reinstall TWRP and Root afterwards..Google is your friend, there are instructions out there, as there are 3 ways to install the stock ROM: using the updater on your phone, using the key combo, and the 3rd one being ADB.

OxygenOS Open Beta 24/15 for OnePlus 3/3T

Here is the change-log for the latest Open Beta build, we have bug fixes and a few changes for you to play with.
System:
Added "Soft" screen calibration
We’ve reverted the screen calibration and added the new calibration from last build as “soft.” You can enable the new calibration in the "display> screen" calibration section of settings
New boot animation
Optimized the clearing of recent apps
Other:
Updated Community app to V1.9.5
Minor bug fixes
Please note: We have patched the blueborne vulnerability independent of the Android security patch. Therefore, some blueborne vulnerability scanners may not recognize our independent patch.
Please make sure you take a bit of time to fill out our survey on UX & UI here:
https://goo.gl/forms/ET3E7TbllSksASKT2 .
And please remember to tell us about any bugs you may find using the bug report forums, found here. https://forums.oneplus.net/feedback/
Remember:
If you have already flashed an Open Beta (you are currently running the latest Open Beta) you will receive this new build as an OTA.
If you ARE NOT running open beta software and would like to, please refer to the flashing instructions and the full ROM found in the downloads page here: http://downloads.oneplus.net/
Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache)
Edit: OTA mostly will not install. You have to install the full ROM of 1.5gb which works fine with most of the beta users.

Secure Folder works with this ROM?
If I install a custom rom now, will i lose future updates from SAMSUMG and always install a different custom rom?
Thanks for now, sorry for my bad english, regards.

Not sure about A700H. I think it not suitable for that model.

Any related with knox will not work if you root. Root user also can't receive OTA update. Updating firmware can be made by flashing with odin.

Resurrection Remix
I love this clean ROM as much as I like the steady increase of hope here in the community.
By that @kumbangdesa, could I ask you a favor of making the same ROM for the oreo update? Sammobile has the vietnam 8.0.0 update around now. I could've done it but I lack the knowledge to do these things.

I'll make a rom for oreo soon.
Hi guys.
After this update, the screen of my A7 2017 is having problems.
She is very sensitive and sometimes does not respond.
Anyone else with this problem? What can be done?
