Front camera sometimes takes pictures 3/4 of the way covered in a green overlay. This only happens in low light situations.
Please let me know if there are issues so i can update this list and work towards making it shorter than it already is.
Install Instructions1. Download ROM from the link below.
(If you choose to install a 64bit ROM please install the 64bit TWRP in the the same link)
2. Wipe dalvik/cache/data/factory reset.
3. Flash the rom in recovery.
4. Flash OpenGApps in recovery. (Make sure to choose 7.1 ARM)
5. Reboot device.
Downloads (This contains all of my K20 plus builds including all of the 64bit builds and 64bit TWRP. )
Error 255 when flashing 64bit roms is because you are running 32bit twrp. Try redwolf recovery in the download link.
To fix fp enrollment on my builds or stock will require you to either delete the enrolled fingerprint(s) before clean install or switching to/from stock, alternatively you can root the device, use a root file explorer to navigate to the /persist-lg/ partition and delete the goodix folder.

I thank all of the contributes who works really hard getting this rom for giving a new life for our phone

I'll try to add a full list of apns to the device tree tomorrow so people don't have to mess with APN to get data working.

Update: tried it with nano and it booted fine. Just had to scramble to download a launcher really quick haha

Battery life is near that of stock on both Lineage and AICP.

MAC address
Once again thanks for this awesome ROM. I found one minor issue, I have two LG K20 Pluses. It seems like a common issue with some lineage ROMs that the WIFI MAC address is somehow hard coded. Both devices get the same 00:79:33:12:3c:00 MAC address so the connectivity is very erratic. I think maybe there's something in the device driver that is not able to read the MAC address. Sometimes it can be overriden by config files, I greped through /data and /etc and couldnt find this MAC. Thanks!

1.Can't switch data when using 2sims but works only when you have 1sim working
2..Weak signal
3.. sometimes the status bar turns white

The Fingerprint sensor is not yet implemented into my builds
APN needs set to IPv4/IPv6 to support full data capabilities for T-Mobile/MetroPCS
VoLTE isn't working

Formatting /data as F2FS limits the partition to only 4GB so definitely avoid doing that for now

3. Flash the rom in recovery.
4. Flash OpenGApps in recovery. (Make sure to choose 8.1 ARM64)
5. Reboot device.

@Travisholt92 unless I'm doing something wrong when trying to play a couple games (Idle Hero's being one) it won't allow me to play Via data it won't connect unless I'm on Wi-Fi? I can get a log but just wanted to let you know also if anyone wants what seems to help data a bit including faster switches from 3g to lte after calls try flashing this

Yeah that data issue is related to ipv6 not allowing full network connectivity. Change that to ipv4/ipv6 in your APN and you'll be golden. It's something kernel related preventing full IPv6 connectivity. I'll check out your build.prop tweaks though. I plan to change the built-in APNs to address that issue until I can get that issue resolved. I probably won't work on debugging that until Pie since its not quite a high priority issue.

I installed the mentioned game just to make sure that was the issue. Loaded up just fine over LTE with ipv4 enabled

Dirty flashing from a previous Oreo build to 2/7 will likely result in a bootloop if you had magisk installed. You will need to reflash magisk and possibly gapps to resolve this issue. Its because I changed the filesystem type for certain partitions from ext4 to f2fs for a slight performance boost.

I'm going to revert those changes since they were personal preference but the change won't affect users that had issues installing the most recent build.

I am not sure what's up, I've flashed 2/9 a bunch and just bootlooping.. Clean install and fresh magisk flash
EDIT: Tried a few more times and no go.. I'll wait for the revert

Revert build is up under the same name as yesterdays build with yesterdays build renamed to the proper date. It will work with ext4 and f2fs now. Its likely your issue was from cache being formatted as EXT4 which yesterdays build didn't support, today's does.

I can but won't for users who for some reason prefer SU, but magisk installer is baked into PBRP so close enough right? Lol also a new build is being uploaded now with overall performance improvements. Maybe I'm just crazy but even networking seems faster on 2/08. Should be up in about an hour. I'm off to bed now. Enjoy the super fluid 2/8 build.

There was already root activator and it didn't work that way, but I went back to 8.1 and a question with trebuchet recent applications look like in Pie but if I put Nova Launcher they come back like before Oreo, because that happens?

Chromecast should be working. Miracast/wi-fi display support was removed in Pie and to my knowledge there is no workaround solution to make it work.
For some devices they started using Qualcomm's Wifi display implementation. Not sure if that is an option for us; I asked Arne

Right. In may case the APN screen was blank. I had to set up the APN manually and it worked fine.
Another issue is related to screen rotation. Turning the phone 90 degrees the screen keeps as it was, it not goes to horizontal.
And last, I was not able to root the phone whit magisk.
I will trying it.

Can't add any APN manually, it says "Settings for APN are not available for this user". Just have the option to "set to standard" but this does nothing.

Hopefully APN will be fixed in next build.
Screen rotation works just fine now in latest build. Make sure that you enabled it. You can also try a clean flash if you dirty flashed from previous one.
You'll have to talk to Magisk developers; not a ROM issue. In the meantime enable embedded root in developer options.

If you have already done a clean flash try updating your modem. Some people were having this issue on older JB modems

New builds are up with March security patches.
APN should be working now, at least it does for me. Please report back.

Clean flash went fine on my serranoltexx. However root is not working. Default is set to "Apps and ADB" (in Developer Options -> Root access), but Kernel Adiutor tells me there is no root. Setting to "Disabled" and re-setting it to "Apps and ADB" does not work either.

Tested it, you are right. The apps and ADB is the one that should be working, it means that root access can be granted to both apps and commands over ADB. Not sure what is going on though, this is coming from Lineage, AOKP doesn't use a custom SU in Pie. Will have to investigate further. Does anyone knows if this worked in previous version from March 05? I noticed there was a commit added by Lineage on March 6, maybe that broke it?
Update: also tried flashing SU from here: https://download.lineageos.org/extras but it didn't work either so definitely seems to be a Lineage SU issue

Dear developer of this firmware, you can fix the network mode so that there is a standard choice of 2G, 3G, 4G, only 3G, only LTE. Please fix the shift under the on-screen buttons or reassign actions. This does not work in the menu. If you can add a font change? The firmware is great, thanks!

You can change the network mode from Settings, under Preferred Network Type.
• GSM is 2G
• CDMA is 3G
• LTE is 4G
• Global switches between the three automatically
I cannot add the swap buttons or reassign buttons features because it's not a part of stock Pixel software, which is what PE is for.
You can use any of the swap button Magisk modules by raystef66 if you'd like however.

This Pixel Experience is a device-specific rom, which means it's made for the Axon 7, and not a GSI which is made to fit any device.
There should be less bugs, and overall better performance.
As it's a traditional zip rom to install it you can flash the zip, and then flash Magisk, etc. as needed. No vendor needed, it's inside the zip.

I get Error 7 when I try to flash this to my Axon 7. I've updated updater-script and it still gives me an Error 7. Please help! Thanks.

Which TWRP are you using?

I've solved this. I used a vendor partition creation tool to create a vendor partition. After which when I flashed the Pixel Experience zip, it seemed to go through fine.

I tried every single method of fixng on YouTube and the issue is still the same

For first time it worked but after reboot the issue is back again
It's called accuracy tips ,,give me location is already optimized but when i reboot the device it nothing apparer

GPS is working on my side.
If you find it's not working at all, you can try wiping System and flashing the zip again, and Magisk if you use it.
As for Netflix, the app isn't showing up in the Play store because the device is uncertified. I will fix this in the next update. You can grab an apk from the net, that should work fine.

I have noticed that the WiFi MAC address changes with every restart of the WiFi functionality. Meaning when you turn WiFi on and off, you will get a different WiFi MAC address. Or say if you rebooted your phone, you will get a new WiFi MAC address. The WiFi MAC address for this ROM is not static. This causes an issue for those of us who need to register a WiFi MAC address to get access on a corporate network.
Please can you let me know when this can be permanently fixed or maybe even provide a temp hack so that I can have a perm WiFi MAC address.

My device is 2017G
First i falsh vendor then universal bootstack V2 lineage 15.1 oero Gmodem than i flash the rom
And gps still not working can you please tell me what i did wrong?

Having the same issue over here, only one wifimac.dat file with the correct address in it but can't be opened in system either, like through a file browser, was working on GSIs before.

It's just driving me nuts. I can't install the setup wizard on BiTGApps-arm-10.0.0-R17_signed.zip, although setup-config.prop is in the root directory of the internal sd card as it should be. I reported the problem to the developer of BiTGApps about a year ago and it still continues unsolved. Maybe I'm making some mistake or else I'll just have to wait for OpenGApps for Android R ...

Flashed the new R firmware today and it's magic! R for the G2 D802:laugh::good: I also installed BitGapps https://bitgapps.cf/arm/R/
My first experience (without a simcard in it). It feels snappy and that's great news. Wifi is working fine and streaming through bluetooth with TuneIn radio app is also working fine. Great start!

You are using the wrong version. Use BitGapps for Android 11 (see link in my other post). Working fine for me with this version.

I was tired. I think I copied the wrong file name. I think it was the right version. Did you use the setup wizard? Did it work for you?

Ah, ok, i was misguided by your first post (as you stated to had installed BitGapps for 10.). I was convinced that this must have been the reason for your trouble with the setup wizard. And I'm talking about the Lineage setup wizard. You are right that Google setup wizard is not shown with BitGapps.

I'm on LOS 18 now. I found a workaround for my problem with BiTGApps and installed Magisk Canary successfully. @aleasto: There's no advanced restart in the developer options. I found a solution for that, too - but it would be good to have, since it was there in LOS 17.1 ...

I can't find the power management slider on LOS 18. The battery Manager shows very high consumption. Where can I now manage power consumption as in LOS 17.1? Now I am using LOS 18, BitGapps, Magisk Canary.
