[HUAWEI Y7][TWRP-ZIP]iYTB ADFree Black Themed - Huawei Y7 (2017) Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hi,
Thought i make a flashable zip for our device (ARM, API21) based on @ZaneZam 's iYTB to get YouTube without those ANNOYING ADDS....
Therefore this zip. So no need to manual install and delete things, no need of an installer...., just flash with twrp
LINK : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746010030569948657
It's the BLACK THEMED version.
Procedure :
1. Put on extSD
2. wipe cache/dalvik
3. Flash
4. reboot
5. in playstore/settings : check "no auto update" , otherwise you'll end up as before !
This zip should work when your youtube is in system/app or data/app. Both will be wiped and replaced with the new one.
Report when zip isn't working anymore. Therefore i should update the zip with the latest version.
ALL CREDITS : @ZaneZam !!!!THNX!!!:good::good::good:
ENJOY !
don't just HIT&RUN....there's a :good: button for some reason
ps : this should normally work for ALL VERSIONS

Is there a way to install iytb via Magisk 15.3 rather than twrp?

I dont mind using the Single SIM as I use it for single sim most of the time. Thank you for sharing it here. I'm downloading it now.
an awesome rom
This is the best rom I have ever used on my Sparkle V. Very smooth ,
but I found a bug - while backing up data on local storage the phone hangs and reboots itself in a minute, but that's not a major issue.:good:
guys, I tried flashing, but failed. ,
- first I tried wipe everything, and then flash. But flash or rom failed, giving sole softlink issue. I tried multiple times, but failed. Finally, fixed issue by having another 4.4.4 rom installed first and then flashing this rom without wiping system
- once flash was successful, I rebooted device, but it keeps looping wihout booting up. OP suggested multiple iterations of (battery remove, goto recovery, wipe dalvik, boot) , but I am in my 7th attempt and device not booting still.
How many times you guys had to wipe dalvik? Very much anxious to test this MIUI rom !

And where you got CM11 from? From Cyanogenmod download page for "sprout"?

Viper4A_Soundfix_LibFiles.zip
Viper4A_Build_Prop_Tweaks.zip

4. By now, u should have a normal working V4A under normal mode but without neon support. Continue with next step to fix this
5. Open V4A and uninstall drivers and reboot
6. Now you need to uninstall V4A, but you need an app for deleting System Apps like Titanium Backup
*reboot*

Nope, they are two different ROMs on different channels: for instance you could have dirty flashed if you were on 3.5.2 or 3.5.3.
I need to wipe system too? Or only cache/dalvik + data?

You can even dirty flash this over 3.2.7 (will take some time after 1st boot to optimize apps depending on the number of apps installed) , Nandroid can be restored with out hassle if you choose to clean flash 3.2.7 after testing CB

Try re-flashing Twrp by downloading a fresh copy , and manually mount system before flashing the ROM ,
You can also try downloading it directly to your gdrive and let it sync in your PC / phone by "make available offline" feature in drive app

[MODULE] Magisk Kcal changer Script by

Android Kcal changerget perfect screen colour on any Android device(with kernel support) running Android 5.0+!
Hi all,
This is my first Magisk module, and with a very simple purpose
Prerequisites
Magisk v11.6 or higher, in case of using the Magisk Module.
A working custom recovery (TWRP, PhilZ, etc.)
Tested on
Both module and flashable Zip had been tested on AEX4.6, AICP 7.1.2 and RR_N, working perfectly in the three
Downloads
Download from the attachments[/URL], in the future in the Magisk Manager repository (once topjohnwu adds it!),
Installation instructions
Magisk Module (via Custom Recovery) - Download it from the attachments or from my server. Reboot your device into recovery mode, then choose Install, locate the downloaded Zip and flash it.
Flashable Zip - Download it from the attachments or from my server. Reboot your device into recovery mode, then choose Install, locate the downloaded Zip and flash it.
Troubleshooting
I've seen some people that wiped their /data partition (aka Wipe Data/Factory reset), and thus losing their magisk.img and all their modules, since they're stored there.
This means: If you factory reset your device and didn't flash Magisk flashable Zip again, none of the modules will be able to work.
To fix it, flash Magisk flashable zip again, then flash all your modules, and it should all be working again.
Upgrade Notes : When upgrading from one module version to another make sure to remove the existing module first to avoid any conflicts during installation.
Change Log :
v1.0 - Initial Release

Hello, thanks for the module. But may i know how should i modify the value of the kcal? I am using stock kernel, I thought this suppose to work without custom kernel or it needs custom kernel that support kcal customisation to support this? tq.

Install GSI on S9 Exynos

Guys I successfully installed HAVOC-OS located https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development/gsi-havoc-os-t3930030. The steps I followed are mentioned below
1. Wipe everything except internal storage.
2. Flashed BRK3 Vendor https://mega.nz/#F!wFFQUYbI!GZvNOBSn1wVn8U9mQDzBiw!IQsjlYzA
2. Installed Endurance GSI kernel https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/samsung-galaxy-s9--s9-cross-device-development/kernel-endurance-kernel-v1-0-t3849434
3. Flashed the system image for ARM 64 A only
4. Boot system
5. Reboot to recovery and Flashed Mgisk
6. Gapps will fail to install at first. Just goto wipe -> Adv wipe -> system partition -> Resize. Reboot to recovery and flash Gapps
7. Reboot and enjoy
8. You can test other GSI Roms also and report. The thread is located at https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development
Thanks buddy. I was looking for the ways to run the GSI. And the method works. Good job
thanks for the guide! im still on an unrooted s9, but if everything works ill definetly make the jump. Can you tell us more about stability, bugs and if there are things not working
So after testing the ROM for 2 days I can say that
1. It is very stable and can be used as a daily driver
2. Everything works, I am not sure about Bluetooth audio though, haven't checked it
3. It can be heavily customized. Unlike LOS, where we have only few of these features available
4. Battery life is the best I got using any other ROM out there (check the screens below). and I am the guy who gets 3 hrs of SOT, when others claimed 5+ hrs on the same ROM.
5. Security patch is latest even as compared to the TW ROMs
6. Regarding camera... Its the same as LOS pie. Use gcam by idan 3.5 fixed and you are good to go.

Yes it is
Thanks for trying this out. I'm only a few months in with my exynos S9 on android pie, so I haven't yet learned the details about rooting/recovery for this phone.
I'll wait for your next update regarding daily use, and would love a more detailed step-by-step for installation if that's not too much trouble. I'm honestly loving those screenshots.
How about IMEI, BRK3 Vendor safe..?
Ok here is the detailed tutorial on how to install a GSI rom
1. First you need to wipe everything in TWRP. Just like you do, when you clean flash any rom
2. Than install the BRK3 vendor. Link is provided by the OP. It's a flashable zip file so just flash it like any other zip.
3. Flash the Endurance GSI kernel. Link is in the OP.
4. Next, download the GSI rom from the link in the OP. Remember to download the ARM 64 A-only variant.
5. Extract the files and you should get a . Img file. Copy that in the SD card
6. In the TWRP, goto install. Select flash image from the bottom right corner of your screen. Now browse the image file, that you copied and choose system image and install.
7. Boot to the system and than boot back to the recovery.
8. Now flash the magisk
9. If you try to install gapps, it will give an error regarding space. So just goto wipe -> advance wipe > system repartition > resize
After resize, you will be able to install gapps.
Flash gapps, automatic brightness fix ( link in the rom thread), AOD fix ( link in the rom thread) and reboot.
