USB-C Power Delivery hub and Mi6 - Xiaomi Mi 6 Accessories

Mi6 seems to support USB-PD (Power Delivery). Have anyone tried to connect a powered USB-C hub (macbook-compatible)? Does the phone charge while USB is connected to other peripheral?

Yes, it is supported
About 16w or so

220V adapter replacement for cradle

My 220V adapter that conects to the cradle is broken (gives only 0.7-1V).
According to O2 NL the 1 year warranty is only for the XDA itself, and they seem NOT to sell the 220V adapter separate!
Any ideas if a universal ~220V / 4.5V or 5V adapter should work with the cradle???
Marco
If it is a USB cradle, you can also modify it, to get the power of the PC directly.
Normaly all universal adapter will work. You just have to take a look at the size of the connector, polartiy of the connector ( + and - ), and the voltage of it. I think the power consume is low, so that you donĀ“t need a Adapter with 100W...

I use the Adapter of a Nokia 6310 on the road.. it has 5.7V and the same plug as the XDA

Does the Nokia adapter works 100% oke? Because it is just 500ma and the original XDA adapter is 1000ma?
Yes it works ok!
I am using it for about half a year now most of the time and i did not experience any problems

220V adapter
Hey
i needed to have 2 adapters for my XDA.
one for the office and the other to my house.
so what i did is i bought a direct USB XDA charger for 15$ and a FIXED 5.0 volts,1amps power supply from some phone srore - 5$.
im a computer tekkie so i got myself a USB female connector (you can buy the in a computer store for 3-5$) and i connected the VCC+ and Ground of the USB female connector to the power supply`s + and -, VUALA! its a perfet charger.
you can disconnect the USB cable from the female USB and use the cable so sync.
Thanks for the feedback Fidl.
Smart thinking Sonic ... as I already have an USB sync/charge cable this is a nice option

OTG Cable issue

I've got a nexus 7 that I'm installing into a dash. I've bought an OTG Y-cable with power and a rosewill externally powered USB hub. I'm running USB-rom on the nexus 7. I plug everything in, power to the Y cable, power to the USB hub, and hub to the tablet. When I unplug the power from the USB hub it still remains powered on by either the tablet or the incoming power to the Y-cable. Is it possible the Y-cable isn't correctly wired for this setup?
There's a wiring diagram at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2113259 in with the pictures of an installation. AFAIK a USB hub will only get power via a dedicated socket and/or the host usb connection so if you've got a hub that accepts power from either source and there is a power source connected to the y cable then the dedicated hub power supply is redundant?????

MHL - AC vs USB Charging mode

Hey guys,
Bought a used HTC One due to BT connectivity problems with my SG4.
I have a requirement to use MHL daily and need an adapter that will allow "AC" chargiing mode. I am using the same charger as I did with my SG4 that did provide enough to actually charge the phone while using MHL.
The same usb charger running through my current MHL 1,0 adapter into my HTC one, will only put the phone into "USB" charging mode. This is not adequate and will probably force me to sell the phone off.
Here's the MHL adapter I am using:

Do you guys know of a MHL adapter for our phones that will allow AC charging mode?

Just a question, MI 9 can use OTG and wireless charge at the same time ?

On phone, wireless charge is connect on USB. And it has priority over other uses of USB like OTG. On MI 9 I don't know. Please tell me, if OTG and wireless charge is OK .
Wireless charge in usb,? I don't think so, either usb OR wireless charge. Not together....
For me on modified xiaomi.eu its working wireless charge and otg.
Thank you. Before the spiral of the wireless charge was connected to the usb port , so no otg with wireless charge.
Another question. I can not find the dlna. It's in the specs.
Pity that the usb is not 3 and not slimport or mhl.

OTG-Y for charging and OTG devices?

Does anyone know of an OTG-Y cable which will allow a USB OTG device to be connected to the Tab S2 while charging at the same time?
