Mine work fine with my settings you should try to clear app data of gcam and try again my settings dont use front flash in light condition

Bro did you realy use gcam app from mine its hould be iso bar in the left screen like this check pics slide it to 625-3200 dont use auto it will be errors,force stop your app first

Uninstal first your gcam then install mine dont install over old gcam

Use the attached app and set iso level to 625 or 3200, set manual fixed level ofset to 63.5... This is given in the advanced settings option... Use model nexus 5 and enable portrait mode for all devices in the advanced settings.

Any other gcam mod camera apl is installed! Uninstall that first.

I uninstalled the old one and installed this one.Whenever i open the app it crashes.(i have not changed api or anything. My phone is stock)

Well there is an app called teleport. It can blur backgrounds automatically without root.It is pretty much accurate.Just the thing is it takes lot of time.I was looking for an faster version of that app.

I wonder why the developers dont create an app like google camera for unrooted phones.they can copy the background blur function from the teleport app and the manual setting from bacon camera app. If you are in contact with any dev, can you please send my request.

Figured a temporary way to get your pictures.. when you take a picture and click on it then when screen goes black hit the recents button then click back into camera app your picture should pop up

Well, any of the old Gcam not working in 8.1. Only some of the BSG mods working. And back.rider mod also not working in 8.1. In my knowledge its because we have "FULL" camera2 api support. But in Nokia 7+ its Level3 and all the Gcam works fine. Thats a shame

Sorry for late reply. Nokia camera seems to do better in dynamic range but loses some sharpness. GCAM does better in sharpness but photos look a little dark.

Works fine. All working.. Don't expect a special port for Nokia 8.1. Since we don't have development support its not possible. You can use all the port from Poco F1 and Mi 8

I'm thinking of getting this if GCAM is a viable option... with one lens camera, I would think its a slam dunk to get an already working option... has anyone tried, any success and is it better than stock?

If anyone root ur nubia red magic 3. Then you can use gcam easily. After root just download build prob apk

Open the apk
Go edited

It’s also possible to try other builds that have been done previously without root... be like a needle in haystack but I have seen some success with other phones before with this method... most notably the some Xiaomi and Huawei phones. Or as explained above if you have root... with the international version out I’m hoping it’s only a matter of time before one is discover. GCAM and a good night sight version running would make this a great deal not to pass up under $500 usd

Yes the HDR is much better with GCAM.... very promising... hoping that night scene works... if so, this phone maybe coming to my house very soon.

It worked for the very first pic I took and now it wont work -_-. Sorry random stuff happened and I haven't had time to compare.
I made some pictures with nubia cam vs gcam, didn't press on the screen to focus or something so its all automatic.
Pictures with watermark are with the nubia cam app btw.

Sorry, I haven't had a lot of time to mess with this yet... I probably will be able to mess with the phone closer in a week from now & figure out how to root the international version.

I know why you are not use night sight. First you unlock bootloader and root your phone. Then download build prob apk and go edit page and then add this line wait send you screenshot

Hdr+ and night vision still dont work after root/bootloader unlock and editing the build prop with what you had unfortunately. All you get with the gcam mods currently is better constrast and awb.

First add this line for build prob text editor then install gcam

this is unused on new qualcomm soc's ie 7xx 845+ 670+ api2/hal3 is the default api
Now that Xperia 1 is out and it supports camera2api and raw, there is a high chance that google pixel camera app / gcam finally works.
Anyone with Xperia 1 please test working gcam version and share your findings here. Thanks

It's old gcam 5.1 version, so probably no tele-wide-ultrawide hdr+ support...no night sight...yet. At least it's way better than nothing. Hope more people can donate to the developer so that he can continue improves the gcam port

Not so much about the features, just image quality will be better.

I started using the Google Camera port on my previous device, the LG V30. I wasn't satisfied with the stock camera and I heard others praise the GCam port. So I gave it a try and boy oh boy was it worth it. The photos look much better. I also use it on my Mix 3 and much like with the LG V30, photos come out better in GCam.

Surely one of the Devs that have created the current gcam apps just need a bit of a nudge? If anyone knows them, ask them to look into an Xperia 1 version....
