Huawei 360 Camera owners - Huawei Mate 10 Accessories

When you disable the watermark/logo in settings, do you still have a white foggy area above the phone? See photo. I am not sure if this is the just to use as a contrasting background for the black font watermark or if my camera is faulty. However surely if you remove the watermark in settings then the white fog should be removed too as it is not needed anymore?
So do I have a problem or is it normal with all the cameras?

Yes, mine does too. Seems to be Huaweis way of hiding the camera / phone from the shot

Is there any way of doing long exposure shot with this camera?
Huawei specs says that camera has up to 30sec exposure

Hello, everywhere is written that huawei cv60 360 camera is shooting 2k video, but in app written 1920x960 resolution, and this is not 2 k resolution, any thoughts ?

Not that I know of, the software would need to support it and it doesn't appear to at the moment.

Where is 2 k resolution?

In summary 1920x960 = 1843200 = 2K :cyclops: just marketing, nothing personal

This white overlay thing on the bottom of the 360 camera (white beneath huawei logo when on) is kind of annoying. Is there anyway this could be remove view editing the APK file.

what does anti banding do for my pictures?

i have a nexus one and i was curious to know how anti-banding 60hz and 50hz or even auto, affect my photos... thanks
try taking a picture of a tv or computer monitor

Just throwing it out there that, if it's to compensate for refreshrates, it should probably be named "anti-flicker" and not anti-banding. If I see banding in reference to images, I generally associate it with the image not being properly blended and each separate shade being easily identifiable.
Does anyone have an old CRT monitor or tube TV they can try 'off' vs '50, 60, or auto' with? Submit the results, pics or it didn't happen. I don't know if this is the case
Banding is pattern of vertical line in photo. And banding is digital imaging artifact. And banding happens in some extreme or special exposure or conditions. To avoid these pattern you can use Anti-banding feature of camera.
Alright, necroing in...
My device is Yu Yureka CM12.1. But what I've noticed is that the Anti-banding option doesn't change anything when I take the picture of, say my led monitor. But changing the ISO setting does. If we set ISO manually to a higher value like 800, bands will make the image ugly. Even lesser ISO values have banding, but to a small degree. Setting an Auto ISO mode solves the issue. I don't know the technical reasons behind it.
Here's a photo of my led monitor with ISO set to 800:

Nexus 4 Camera color offset!

Hey Guys,
two things:
1. I just noticed a software bug regarding the camera on Nexus 4:
If you change the resolution down to 5MP and then zoom in, the picture you take will have an "color offset"
To easier show what I am talking about, here 2 examples:
FIRST , using stock aamera app, 5MP UNZOOMED
SECOND , using stock camera app, 5MP ZOOMED
Android Google code issue: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=41721
2. Can you reproduce it too?
Certainly looks messed up to me. Does it do that every time on 5MP when you zoom? No matter how still you are? Do different white balances affect it? I'm not sure this will affect many people...I, for one, always use 8MP and rarely zoom. Still, a bug is a bug and it should be fixed...
I have it also, but I can't reproduce it in every shot. Here is one where the effect is visible on the stereos speakers...

Every Zoom stage on 5MP and it gets more akward the bigger the zoom.
Yes, even if you are perfectly still.
Sucks but at least it is an easy fix, don't zoom. Maybe if the n4 had an optical zoom it would be an issue.

As you'll be able to see in the pic, in low lights or even a bit of light the camera has very much noise like burning fire no matter what mode I am using superior auto or manual but when I change ISO to 400 the noise tends to almost disappear but still does, so by not messing things up is this a common software issue? I had tried several camera apps all are the same is this software or hardware/lens issue? I am running on latest 2.257 firmware

Erm, could you post a few actual pictures please? The viewfinder does NOT display the quality of eventual images as it does not apply any processing. The view from the viewfinder will always be hella-noisy. (that's a term, right? Down with the kids, me )
Actual results can be as good as this:

Snapchat on LG L90?

I have been using Snapchat frequently, but I have noticed that ever since a month ago, when I specifically record videos on Snapchat, there is a black bar on the top and bottom, I am assuming the aspect ratio is off? You can't change the camera settings via the Snapchat app, so I was wondering what could be causing this...
It takes pictures fine though. Really would like to fix this issue, as it is awkward sending a video via Snapchat with black bars making it look like as if I am using some type of ancient phone...
Can you send a screenshot so that we can see what you are seeing? AFAIK it may be an update affecting video

Sorry I just saw this! So I took a random picture of the Chicago Skyline via Google Images (if for some reason this post gets flagged, the original picture can be found here: http://monkeywrenchplumbers.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/IMG_44852.jpg).
Anywho, this is how videos on Snapchat turn out (again, I didn't take this picture!) but basically, imagine that picture was a normal 10 second video on Snapchat, that is how the video is usually outputted as, with the two black bars:

It will on mine. I can even switch so the "main" screen is the front, though that seems kind of pointless.

Interesting, I wouldn't have thought to check that. I guess the size of your screen caps vs. mine could have been a clue.
