AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
Download/install TWRP 64 bit from the ROM download folder linked below.
Wipe cache, dalvic cache,system,data
Flash ROM-Flash Gapps [Arm64-7.1]
Done-Reboot Now
Enjoy AICP rom
NOT firmware
VoLTE
Incorrect WI-FI MAC address used
Possible charging issues on 10v firmware
Data needs reset to default under APNs in order to work on first install.

The zip itself, not the mdsum. Then flash whichever opengapps package you download for arm64 and 7.1. I just downloaded the aroma package so i can pick and choose but any of them should work fine.

There are some differences between some of the lv517s and model number doesn't seem to affect anything. There are at least 2 different screens used (which is why dt2w works for some but not all) and I think it may be the same way with the charging issue. 32bit charging works for everybody, 64 bit only works for some. I've tried numerous things, even rebased my kernel from 10w and added dt2w functionality to it and made it 64 bit. So far I've had no luck.

dt2w does not work on my end. But not really a big deal for me.
Charging works on my phone without problems.

Yeah? Not a single problem on my end with the rom at all except knock off.

Here's a screen for proof

ROM is great. Once I reset APN to default 4g popped up. The only bug I can report is when I mask magisk I go to reinstall it crashes. I restore from titanium it reinstalls fine, if I hide again same thing again.

Battery Life issues on RR64
Hi, I can't seem to find the Resurrection Remix 64 bit thread, so I'm posting this here. I've been getting terrible battery life, and most noticeably terrible standby time, as I'm only getting about an hour of pure standby at 25% battery. Is it a setting I switched on/off? The phone is unusable, and I'm having to switch back to stock for now, so quick help is greatly appreciated.

Hi @RitoTheDorito, have you tried resetting your battery stats? I would suggest Battery Calibration by IMOB in the Play Store, watch the ad for the full Calibration and set it down while it works its magic. See if that helps out, if not try installing GSam Battery Monitor and see what's eating your battery

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Lineage OS. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, Lineage OS, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features:
(I will mention only that which does not take into Lineage OS)
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different Lineage OS, thus bringing a beautiful charm to ROM
Own boot animation
Aegis: Power Saver
Yu Browser
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add Network speed for incoming and outgoing
Settings for Navigation Bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Installation mode :
To install the clean ROM:
Download the ROM
enter the recovery
make all wipes (expect internal storage)
choose zip from SD and install
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go to install update
let it install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.

Yes I heard it from many users about this rather strange problem including touch problems. But I never faced any of these issues on any Nougat based ROM on any kernel whatsoever. Although I have once or twice found my SIM selection option greyed out on Resurrection Remix N but a simple reboot solved it.

Welcome to Team OpenKirin AOSP Project. Our goal is to provide
a overall stable AOSP experience across all Huawei/Honor phones
utilizing a Kirin SoC and EMUI 8.0 - either updated or shipped.
So far most of the bugs have been fixed and the ROMs are fully usable
as daily driver - and fully Kirin optimized.
This is the device support section for: Honor 8 Pro/Honor V9.
Any bugs found on this device(s) can be reported here, please include proper logs if you encounter any issues.
We support 3 ROMs in total as of now - LineageOS (Unofficial), ResurrectionRemix OS (Official from Beta 2+), OmniRom
You can find all needed guides/roms on our official website: https://openkirin.net

Glad to see this here. I thought custom ROM development for DUK-L09 is dead. I've been using RROS for the past month now. Everything necessary for a daily driver is working. Overall experience is very smooth. Minor bugs I encountered - NFC switch is not available, some features in the RROS configuration menu are not working.
I hesitate to flash LineageOS, is it stable enough and functional for a daily driver ? Are there any issues still present on the Honor 8 Pro?
Is the photo quality the same as on the stock ROM ? And does USB debugging work ?
In the meantime, thank you for your work

Yes as a daily driver, I've had it for a month. Camera quality stock quality for the basics however if you switch between camera and video it does stop and you have to restart. Other thing for me at least is that the Bluetooth audio works perfectly to my car BUT phone calls do not. But still much better than EMUI for me at least. Hope that helps you decode
Oh and yes USB debugging is how you flash it and works like a charm.

Please check out the website before posting any queries. Well it doesn't look like they will be answered anyway. It's as if the devs are under some obligation to make ROMs for kirin devices, since they almost never give updates to their ROMs.

RROS beta2 update is much smoother than the previous one. I feel there are battery improvements too. Fast charge is working properly, so that's great. Video camera seems to be working in order. Thanks RR team!
Few bugs I encountered -
-NFC seems to be missing.
-There is no option to select default keyboard. ( I had to disable other keyboard so I can use the one I want to use)
-It show SD card is corrupted and needs to format but is unable to mount it. It is automatically (temporary) fixed after a couple of reboot, no need to format. Issue returns after another reboot

Using RROS Beta 2
- Heating issue while charging (Too Hot to handle), never happened on Stock ROM
- UI feels more of Tab like (Running it on 600 DPI settings)
- Disabled one SIM, but still shows both even I selected the option of Hiding it in the Settings
Apart from this, it is amazing!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

That's amazing! Thank you so much! I'm trying it out right now!
Edit. So here's what I did:
1. Entered Twrp 3.2.3.0, and wiped everything but USB OTG.
2. Downloaded latest build and GApps ARM 9.0 Stock, and pushed them to `/sdcard`.
3. Installed both ZIPs.
4. Reboot.
Everything seems to be working but Pixel Launcher didn't launch--got "Pixel Launcher keeps stopping". Managed to launch Trebuchet via App Info > Search > Defaults (since I had no launcher). Everything else works 100%, but still can't launch Pixel Launcher.
Thanks again!
Whaaaaaay the ringer and notification volumes are merged))
Thanks
same for me

Actually I spoke too soon.
After my first reboot my Sim card was *not* detected and Photos behave the same as Pixel Launcher--"Program keeps stopping".
fix to bug inthe ROM
prediction for the correction of ROM in the error of the chip that when it is time to turn on the cell the same is not recognized and it is necessary to restart the same?

I installed the [ROM] [9.0.0] [UNOFFICIAL] LineageOS 16.0 and the sim didn't detect me, so I restarted in recovery, and from the nandroid backup I made of the official lineageOS 14.1, I only reinstalled the modem, now it detects phone sim, try and see if it works for you too

Hey thanks for the tip! But I'll actually need more than that. I'm not familiar with Android development so how exactly would I pick only the "modem" (is that an app? a package?) out of an official Lineage build? You can simply point me towards a tutorial/article/website, that ought to be enough.
Same issues here.
EDIT: On some boots the SIM works and on some boots it doesn't. Google Photos works if you configure OpenGApps to not install it and install it from Google Play later. I also configured it to keep the stock gallery.

Thanks for the ROM ! Took a few reboots to get the SIM working. Also, can we not give root access to apps from developer options ? It only shows allow for ADB.
Can anyone post a modem that can be flashed to get the SIM functionality working properly with this ROM?

I flashed the modem from official lineage os 14.1. However, that did not solve the sim issue for me.

Thanks to all.

Hi, thanks so much for doing this! I flashed the latest build you have posted and openGapps but for some reason I'm having extremely slow wifi performance. On a network that's capable of 250Mbps I was getting 7Mbps, and now on a mobile hotspot I'm seeing 90kbps. Is there some tuning setting for the wifi I'm missing by default?
hey guys
howi can do this ? "Selinux in enforcing mode " ? ty guys

So far so good.
Will test properly today and tomorrow
Thank you
No problems whatsoever today. Used GPS perfectly. ROM is fluid and matches performance of vanilla LOS.
The standard customisation options in crDroid are perfect and I'm enjoying the auto night light.
Looking forward to using many more from you Simon. Thank you

Bug!
Settings don't appear to stick.
Hadn't noticed this, but I changed User Interface settings and had a nice Amoled dark style, but if I come out of the settings, close recents and go back to settings, it's back to default.
Can you look into this?

Im not able to reproduce this.
I have also set the Amoled dark style in settings, but it keeps the settings after closing.
Maybe try another clean flash or a simple reboot.
I also have to apologize: NFC is working as I found out. After a reboot it worked without problems.
But I will also make another clean flash just for the try of reproducing your issue

I had this problem on initial setup, but I didn't think anything of it. As @moozer said, a reboot fixed it.
Simon
You need to get this official and get on the maintainers list.
Loving this ROM
What is needed for official status? You have used official LOS, so could it be done?

Mine ran out in 4 hours sleeping plus 1 hour gaming. I have naptime and greenify installed. I guess I will just bring a charger to work lol. Doesn't bother me.

Just use Naptime in it's own (or Greenify) as other similar apps will conflict if used together.
I'm just using Naptime and got this so far with 4G on for 6 hours

I had very good battery life today so it must have been yesterday's fault. Naptime helps with idle battery life and greenify "sleeps" apps when the screen is on I thought.
My usage.
2 screens:
1 at 100 % at bedtime just unplugged
1 at 96% at wake time
7 hours idle
Going to do a full charge and will go to 15% as @SnowFuhrer has done to compare
Looking good so far
