Phone is only 2.5g capable, it is a hardware limitation. there is no way to get 3g on it...

2,5G ... ? ... isn't it EDGE ... I think BA allows only GPRS

EDGE is a "soft" updated GPRS version if on a interface of GSM,the 2.5G.but the edge can be hardly found in UK...
BA doesnt support edge.that's the feature of wizard.

Q: How can I tell what LTE band my Nokia Lumia 635 is connected to?

This is my first Windows phone and we use it as a spare in case any of our Android phones fail. On Android, I use an app called "LTE Discovery" that tells me what LTE band my phone is connected to. Is there a similar app for Windows phones? If not, how about a dialer code that will tell me? On my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, I can dial *#0011# and it tells me the connected LTE band.

Network band selection with Android Pie

Hi,
I have a N950F which I would like to upgrade to android 9 but I am afraid to loose the hidden network menu. Is there a way to select a specific 3G (ie. 1 or 8) or 4G band (ie. 3, 7 or 28) on the Exynos Note 8 upgraded to Android Pie?
