hello!
Which rom? Anyways, I would suggest you to try and miflash your device with latest MIUI global developer firmware. You need to back up your stuff first, cause it formats everything.
If the problem persists after the procedure, I would say it is a hardware issue.

Help my xperia X1 is driving me crazy

Hi guys.
I have a wierd problem my xperia X1 touch screen keeps "failing" every 3-4days ok more explenation:
The touch function on the screen is not working this happens like every 3-4 days then i take out battery over night and the next morning its working 3-4 days again. Now the screen is not totally "failed" when its going into power save mode (the screen darkens) and i touch it it lights up again. Any idea what can be causing this? Oh and ive tried many different ROMS im now on the swedish stock R3AA....something rom and still the same problem, ANY help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I never turn it of (see below for explenation) can this be the problem maybe?
Oh and another problem i´ve had since the beginning is when i put in charger and the phone is turned off it emties the battery, seems like i have to charge it turned on, is this normal?
Hope somebody can help me
Sorry if my english is bad
Sounds like a hardware problem.
I'd flash the stock ROM and SPL and send it back to sony for repair because if this is happening everytime you flash then its unlikely to be a problem with the roms your using.
Give sony a ring and they should be able to help.
Yeah, definitely sounds like a hardware problem. I recommend contacting SE for repair. I hope your phone is still covered by warranty.
It is a badly problem,but I never have this problem,so I can't help U,sorry!

same here, i tried almost every ROMs from Android 6 (CM/MIUI/ASOP) to Android 7.xx (MIUI China, and RR...)
The touch screen will suddenly have no response until i force rebooting the phone.
However, it seems hardware-related issue, i had found the touch not work while entering TWRP (the ROM is not loaded yet).
Next step, i will try to teardown it and re-assemble to see the method works or not.

hi, i tried to teardown my phone and re-connect all connectors, but the touch screen will still be no response after a while.
does anyone have any other idea?
Its probably hardware problem, as i don't stay long enough in recovery to notice the issue or unable to notice it because all you do is press and not a lot of swipes, and another problem is that its almost impossible to buy a new original oem screen, all those sellers on aliexpress claiming to sell new screens in reality just sell a refurbished screen with very low quality, it looks like the old saying "if its made in china its
sh*it" is true, yes most phones are Chinese but they are older companies, better engineering, more experienced, yes issues like this also happen with them but a lot rarer, but here it looks like 10%off all sold phones have problem, some same as ours some worst, and i was typing this for so long, i try to type one letter, another one is pressed or none at all ?
Have you tried flashing Stock ROM ? If you don't then please give try.
earlier versions of TWRP had this issue but only in TWRP. Now it's fixed. And some devices doesn't support such custom kernel and causes problem with nav button.
So first flash thw stock rom and see if the problem exist or not.

I am currently on stock global beta firmware and still facing the same issue, no root not costume recovery and still facing the same issue, now i almost sure that its a hardware problem, like many other users that face it ?
Okay you can post this one to MIUI forum. Try submitting an issue there. Hope you'd get some solution.
I don't think there is another solution other than changing the screen, but thanks anyway
i thing this is the hardware issue, anybody can detect the problem?

While the touch screen lose response, you can press middle part of mi5 (i.e. the connector) vigorously without shutdown the phone. And then, you can find the touch screen will work again. Therefore, in my case, that indeed a hardware issue.

Can you explain this better? I have the same issue, if there's a way to fix it without reboot I want to try it, but I don't understand where/what I should "vigorously press"...
For your reference.
I had touchscreen problem at the beginning when I received it from Gearbest in 2016. It would take much time to send it back and forth so I decided to flash it with a newer Global stable rom (I think I was Miui7) by myself; after that, the problem was 95% gone, (it still happened sometimes but not severe). Lately, I cable updated it to Miui 9 Global Stable and the problem was back and severe.
I TWRP installed Miui 9 Global developer Rom - not working
TWRP LineageOS 14.1 - not working
There are no points to use LineageOS 14.1 if the touchscreen problem is still there.
So I TWRP cleared data and cable-installed Miui 9 developer Rom, and The problem is completely GONE!!!!
Maybe you could try some of the steps above.
I also change my charger from 2V to 1V output after installing, and only charge it from the wall socket. (I used to charge from the extension ones more)
I only installed necessary apps at the beginning then gradually add more.
Hope that would help!!

fingerprint sensor problem

Hi everybody!
Yerstaday my fingerprint sensor stopped working , all of a sudden. No special interaction or anything .
Restarted the phone several times, no success.
If I want to set up new fingerprint, sensor is not reading.
If I want to activate the button actions, there is no reaction, not even in the training mode.
Any suggestions to solve this? Anybody else with this issue?
I am on A 8 with Feb update.
Thank you!

Hey guys i need some help with a problem im having.

it's really a strange thing. I couldn't find anyone else with the same problem anywhere (in mi form and on XDA) . so basically the problem is that the clock on the always on stops(freezes) and doesn't change the time unless I hover something in front of the proximity sensor or when the phone is plugged in and charging. I had this problem since I updated my phone for the first time from 9.5.14 global version. I would appreciate any help
Thanks in advance

Question Mi 11 speaker issue

Hi. So the other day out of the blue the speakers started doing what I've posted in the 2 videos attached.
It's very bizarre. At first I thought it might have been a software issue. I was running latest weekly mmx ROM at the time.
Since then I have done a clean flash of aosp ROM ricedroid. Issue is still there. So this suggests it's a hardware fault of sort.
I'm still a bit baffled with how's it come along as I've never dropped the phone nor has it ever gotten wet. Always been in a armour case from day 1. I've never messed with sound mods at all.
I did try installing viper4android after to see if it fixed it and nothing.
Anyone know what this may be? I really like the phone but I don't think it has any warranty left on it. Had it since the release of the mi 11.
Another weird thing is if I reboot the phone sometimes that solves it and speakers work fine. Then issue starts again at some point. Also if I open recents or start closing apps it then sorts itself out. Very weird. Anyway I hope someone on the forum can guide me to try and sort this or even find out what it is.
Thanks
Bump?

Could be motherboard issue, I sent the phone for servicing at a local phone repair shop, they tried swapping out the speakers, but it did not solved the issue. Neither does formatting nor changing rom.

They say since it happens sometimes but not always, seems to be motherboard problem but not speaker problem. Want me to backup my data, will format, and want to change motherboard. I plan next month end send for changing motherboard.

I used for few days, yesterday suddenly my phone shut down, then cannot turn back on, i havent back up my phone data. Straight cannot turn on anymore. Tomorrow bring go fix straight TT
I have the same problem, I even bought the speakers, changed them and it continued, I already rebaled the processor but it didn't solve it, looking for a solution, a top of the line device.
Hello,
I have the same problem with Xiaomi Mi 11, I have installed Stable ROM with clean install.
On the other hand, I have changed the upper and lower speaker, the charging flex and the LCD and also the charging plate, which is where the lower speaker is mounted, the problem persists.
Has anyone been able to fix this error somehow?
