Hi, I got a HUAWEI P9 phone and after setting it up I noticed that the mic works fine during calls (normal calls + whatsapp) and voice recording, but it doesn't work at all with apps like voice recognition or apps that transcribe voice to text. Any idea what the problem might be?

Guys, did you experience problem with autorecord in call for vito audio notes.
I have setup it properly, but when and vito starts recording the call, when I try to play recorded entry it has zero seconds, even if the call is much much longer :/
I too am having the issue. it did work fine for a while, then I flashed a few new roms and it quit. I can record incoming calls and stand alone recordings, just not outgoing calls.
I've got a bluetooth headset (Nokia BH-503) which works great for calls and music.
However, I tried using it with the Teamspeak app, and found out the voice is still being recorded from the phone mic itself.
To add on this, when I try to record (with the built in app) or use voice commands - It doesn't work (It doesn't record through the mic. It just doesn't work at all.)
Is there a way to use a BT headset as a mic outside of calls? It's obviously possible, since it works on calls, but what about everything else?
I have been trying to use Voice Dialer without any success. It picks up audio from the mic, but always gets it wrong. That's not quite true as it occasionally understands "call", if I say "Carl". If I activate calling on the BT unit whilst driving, VD picks up road noise and starts calling random numbers.
Is anyone out there using Voice Dialer successfully to make calls or control other functions on the Z?
Can't use the phone on speakerphone or voice dictation to text, but if I have it in normal call mode the person on the other end can hear me just fine wtf? Just randomly happened a few days ago then I updated to the newest firmware and still no help.
Also can record video with sounds just fine
No speaker mic
I'm in the same boat. No speakerphone, voice to text, voice recording, Google, ect.. regular phone calls works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone of you noticed problems with the microphone during Whatsapp video calls? I mean, I often make calls with my parents who distinctly hear only my voice but hear the voices of my daughters very badly. I tried using other phones convinced that the problem was in the speaker of the phone I was calling, but instead the voices are heard very well.
Is there any setting I can change?
