These cable are quite phone-model specific whether the charging works two ways (to the phone and to the attached USB device).
Anyone who can confirm a working cable for the Xperia SP?
Thanks in advance

Using a MS ergo keyboard (OTG)

Forgive me if you already know this works, but i thought it was really cool.
I've been typing on ergo keyboards since I was 16 and have a hard time typing on the regular ones. So for the hell of it I plugged my "MS Ergonomic "natural" keyboard 4000 into my N10 via usb OTG cable and it loaded without an issue. No need to stickmount nothing, it just worked!!
I know this won't be for everyone but it excites me profusely

Type C cable - AUTOMATIC POWER OFF - anyone?

I have the phone connected to PC for prolonged periods of times for tethering purposes. Even though it's slow charging it will eventually reach FULL and the warning about "saving your battery, disconnect your USB" appears.
I have found this cable https://goo.gl/08D7El $14.99 at Amazon

My device is rooted btw, any fix to this? I can't seem to connect any USB in my phone anymore.
Maybe your USB port needs a check, or the cable?

My USB port is completely fine before I rooted my phone, ever sinced I rooted my phone my OTG and other hardware accessories can't be recognized by my phone. It has to do something with the system.
