[PORT][ROM][BETA-2][4.4.4] MIUI v6 for Android One 1st gen

Hello guys, just sharing my first porting work to u all
Please read this post from first to the end of this post

I'm doing this fix all alone by
giving up my rest time, quota (since i didnt have wifi), etc..
so dont complain if u find any bugs, or
a lil bit hassle to install it.

Bugs :
- DUALSIM
- Launcher 4x5 layout bug (use another launcher if u want)
- Google play services sometimes fc. Due to unexpected sqlite problem sometime
- Media stopped working after 5-10 seconds gplay services fc so cant take screenshot and gallery become empty, and in some cases taking screenshot while opening screenshot folder using miuigallery (u need to reboot the phone or wait approx 10-30min)
- Font changing in theme app only works for miui's default browser

Installation Procedure :
1. Go to recovery
2. Wipe data, cache, system
3. Flash the rom
4. Flash miui gapps
5. Flash the patch (if any)
6. Reboot.
If u are updating from BETA 1 to BETA 2, i recommend to do a wipe data or clean flash to avoid some unexpected issues
BETA 1 Notes :
For you who gettings bootloop at last time, try this :
1. Download these two bootloop patch
2. Rewipe your phone (data,cache,system)
3. Flash the rom, then flash gapps, after that reboot to recovery mode
4. Flash the miui6_patch_after_flash
5. Reboot. Wait till its booting to homescreen (approx 6-10mins)
6. After finishing the setupwizard, go back to recovery
7. Flash the miui6_patch_after_boot
8. Reboot. And ur done
After booting and finishing the setup wizard (and done flashing the bootloop patch if u got bootloop), set selinux to permissive, set using kernel adiutor (go to plugins, download selinux plugin, set to permissive), enable apply on boot
After booting to homescreen u can reput your 2nd card now. but remember its will still didnt detect your 2nd card
Troubleshoot :
1. How to enable root access?
- Open security app, choose permissions, root access .. there u go (make sure ur root apps already asked for root first to show it on there)
2. How to disable warn when want to install app?
- Open Privacy, choose device administration, change in unknown sources from ask to allow
3. How to make my phone mtp detected?
- Unplug ur usb, open miui default file explorer, select phone, wait till its complete loading, then connect ur usb
4. Google apps or keyboard is force closing how to fix?
- Use my miui6_gapps
5. Titaniumbackup is restarting after grant root access, how to fix?
- Update your current tb to version 7.2.1.2 or latest
6. Cant install apps from PS, says no free storage, how to fix?
- Flash the download provider fix
7. Cant install apps from my sdcard, says no free storage, then after i try it its says install failed
- Set your phone selinux to permissive, then use root ex delete the package folder in data/data .. ex Im failed to install bbm, delete the com.bbm folder
8. Cant import theme from sdcard, what to do?
- The new MIUI at default doesnt allow you to apply theme which not from their store, but try other theme, theres some of theme still can be imported
9. Issues with downloading, how to fix?
- Turn off the xunlei download engine at download - settings, also set the limit to unlimited
10. Navbar is too small, how to fix?
- If u want alternative, use MiPop 2.0 .. im reduced its size due to fix some of layout bugs. To remove the navbar add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" without " in the bottom of the build.prop then push Mipop.apk to system/priv-app
11. How to show messenger chat heads?
- Download app-ops app from playstore, install then reboot, after that search for messenger permission, enable the draw over blabla permission : thanks to Kishan Kumar for the guide

an awesome rom
This is the best rom I have ever used on my Sparkle V. Very smooth ,
but I found a bug - while backing up data on local storage the phone hangs and reboots itself in a minute, but that's not a major issue.:good:

guys, I tried flashing, but failed. ,
- first I tried wipe everything, and then flash. But flash or rom failed, giving sole softlink issue. I tried multiple times, but failed. Finally, fixed issue by having another 4.4.4 rom installed first and then flashing this rom without wiping system
- once flash was successful, I rebooted device, but it keeps looping wihout booting up. OP suggested multiple iterations of (battery remove, goto recovery, wipe dalvik, boot) , but I am in my 7th attempt and device not booting still.
How many times you guys had to wipe dalvik? Very much anxious to test this MIUI rom !

thanks @yadavdharmendar, I am installing from philz, and I avoided installing gaps as well. Still not luck. I get Simlink error.
I am coming from FIUI rom. Not sure if that matters (as anyway I am wiping everything before starting rom flashing).

thanks! But why you installed CM11 first before installing Miui. OP didn't asked for it. Just curious to know!
And where you got CM11 from? From Cyanogenmod download page for "sprout"?

Its not davlick issue it's just meta inf folder bug
Just open ROM zip and delete meta inf folder and replace it from any downloaded sprout ROM zip just copy meta inf folder frm there and paste it in miui ROM n u r done just do a clean install n w8 for 5 mins

Installation Procedure :
1. Remove your 2nd sim card, then go to philz recovery or LATEST (2.8.7.x) TWRP recovery (darkplay)
2. Wipe data, cache, system (or just use the 'clean to install rom' function)
3. Flash the rom
4. Flash miui gapps
5. Flash patch
6. Reboot, wait till 6 mins, pull your phone battery, then goto recovery and wipe dalvik cache, then reboot*
7. After booting and finishing the setup wizard, set selinux to permissive, set using kernel adiutor, enable apply on boot
*do it again until the progress bar bottom of the screen showing
Troubleshoot :

Thanks all. Installed cm11, then installed ROM with the patch, and avoided flashing any gapps. It worked! Just one bootloop, which went away after wiping dalvik.

no FCs seen so far!! Looks perfectly usable as daily rom.
Just one problem seen :
Can not install Google maps. Says insufficient space, which is strange. Also failed to install Link2SD. Tried even installing from ADB, gave error INSTALL_FAILED_UID_CHANGED. Hope Miui is not blocking it.

Every thing is fine bro its super rom but I can't move apps to SD card

6.reboot system(it will take about 10-15min)
7.reboot again to twrp(this is stupid, but sorry you have to do that otherwise magisk won't mount image)
8.go to third post and chose which root you want, you can choose between magisk or supersu

SOME TIPS&TRICKS
HOW TO ENABLE RAW FORMAT:
1)Open camera app, swipe to the top(it wil enable pro mode
2) swipe to the left( it will enable setting)
3)click on raw format
4) Done
Raw mode will take two pictures, one in .dng format, and another one in .jpg format .So don't worry if you see two pictures instead of one
HOW TO ENABLE GOOGLE ASSISTANT
1/go to settings=>app=>google=>permissions
2/enable all the permission
3/go to setting=>app=>setting=>voice assistant & outpout and set google
4/go to google app=>setting=>setting=>phone=> 'ok google detection' =>retrain voice model
5/train your voice and go back to homescreen and tell ok google, google assistant will appear

I have a "old" backup in my home PC so i didnt backed up this time. Will try flash again without restore the system. If it doesnt work, later i will put the backup in the SD and restore it

old backups won't work with 3.1.1-0 recovery, i suggest you to flaqh system.img through fastboot

yeah i know, i will restore it with the same recovery i did the backup. Anyway i downloaded your rom again and will try to flash it again

You will need:

Go to settings, phone information, and tap build number until it says developer options unlocked, press back twice and go into developer options turn on OEM unlock
********************************************
1. Put your phone into download mode by turning your phone off, now press volume down, power and home key at the same time until the screen turns green, then release the buttons.
2. Open Odin on your PC and plug the USB cable into your phone and press volume up.
You will see it is connected to Odin, (there will be a blue rectangle saying com(number)
3. Select the AP section and load your TWRP .tar image in there.
4. Get ready to press volume up, home and power button at same time on your phone now press start on Odin, it will only take a few seconds, as soon as the box goes green and says pass, press the volume up, home and power button combo until TWRP splash screen shows up on your phone screen. Now release button combo and unplug USB cable from your phone.
5. In twrp press wipe, then format. A keyboard will appear, type yes and press enter. Now press back to go to TWRP main screen and press reboot and select reboot to recovery. It will now reboot back into TWRP.
6. Press wipe again, then format, type yes, press enter. (Do this 3 times)
Press back to go to TWRP main screen and press wipe, select advanced wipe, check all boxes apart from OTG and SDCARD and swipe. (Do this 3 times)
Press back to go to TWRP main screen and press wipe then swipe to factory reset. (Do this 3 times)

Your phone is now completely clear with no operating system and ready to flash a custom rom. When you downloaded your rom, you stored it on your sd card or external storage, you need to do this as when you do all the wipes it wipes your internal storage but not your sd card, that's why it says in advanced wipe don't check the sd card or OTG boxes.
********************************************
7. Press back until you go to main screen in TWRP and select install, select storage, external (sd card) and select the rom zip. Now just swipe to flash.
Normally it will go into aroma which contains check boxes of extra items to add into the rom, this rom however is a straight flash, it will automatically detect your phone model and select the correct kernel and battery capacity. It will say Installation finished when done. Now go back to main twrp screen and select reboot and press system. The phone will reboot, leave it 10-15mins to allow it to load the rom, be patient. Then you will be at the set up page just like starting a new phone. Set up from there and enjoy the rom.[/PLAIN]

Also thanks to @ananjaser1211 for his expert help in the kernel and a lot of help in the rom too,

Use this rom, it has working secure folder.
To get secure folder working you would need to have all Knox apps (which are probably debloated from his rom)
Do a build.prop edit and an smali edit in services.jar
I am not going to rebuild somebody else's rom

Any chance for Galaxy watch to pair ?

Download the rom, install pubg, play it and let me know.
I don't play that game, also I'm not sure there is a way to show "rom game performance", don't even know what that is.

I have a problem here. My device is a305f and I have succeeded instaling your rom, and that's amazing.
The rom is run smoothly, despite some little bugs. But the real problem is the mtp is not working. When I choose file transfer, there's nothing happen while in recovery mode it works. Please help, I don't event have a clue where to start to fix it...

I've tried ur awesome rom on my phone and it's super amazing but i always get something wrong in installation and get so much lags in daily usage so decided to settle on the official rom to avoid the lags that happens.

To any one have random reboot you must flash it correctly like me
First go to wipe putton select ( format data) then type (yes) swip to confirm
2_ advanced wipe >select (dalvic) ( cash) (system) then swip to confirm
3_install rom normaly
4_after finish installation dont reboot
5_back to TWRP Recovery main menu
Select Wipe – Advanced Wipe ( select “System” ) – Repair or Change File System – Resize File System – Swipe to Resize
Select Mount – ( select “System, Vendor” ), Back to home
Select Reboot – System

Original Rom is not stable (heat issue, camera error(maybe third-party app), fingerprint error)
i am only bypass 3GB system limit on 5GB rom installation no need resize system partitions

so we can ,install normal twrp and flash oos revert back to oos.
its good to see this rom on op7 pro,
its not need good english bro , it's need time and paitent , not need talk ,just checkout important item of rom and fluidity of ,and some other stuff ,camera ,fingerprint ,...

Thanks OP. IDK if it's because I have Verizon but I wasn't able to call or text.
Rom feels great. It brings back memories of my OnePlus one running Color OS natively.
Can't wait for this to run like MIUI rom
