Not booting. Tried few times. Downloaded the rom againg and tried with no luck.

Use deadman TWRP.
Check on deadman LOS threads.
For everyone who needs instructions to flash. Please follow the instructions as for any other roma on Mi A1.
1.Downgrade to official 7.1
2.Boot to temp TWRP (deadman's)
3.Wipe system, data, dalvik, internal
4. Flash ROM
5. Reboot to bootloader and again get the temp TWRP.
6. Flash Magisk (Mandatory for tomorrow to boot) & GAPPS(optional)
7. Reboot system
PS: ignore it TWRP sys no Os installed. Mostly probably after you complete the flashing, you will see the ROM is on partition B. Do not panic and just reboot.

Clean Installation
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. Download the appropriate GApps following the links in the second post.
3. Back up any and all important data.
5. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE/DATA/FACTORY RESET.
6. WIPE SYSTEM.
7. Flash the ROM in recovery.
7.1. DO NOT FIX PERMISSIONS AFTER FLASHING, doing so will cause a bootloop.
8. Flash the GApps.
9. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
10. Reboot Device.
Dirty Flash/Update

3. Install the update zip from recovery.

MY SD Card Isn't Working
- Format the SD Card in recovery to Ext4 (from FAT) and it should be good to go. Besides, who likes the 3.9GB file limit of FAT anyways
- NTFS formatting also works, but SD card is no longer detectable in recovery.
Help! Miscellaneous is draining my battery!
Miscellaneous itself is not some mystical process that drains battery. It's showing the difference between estimated battery drain and actual battery drain (so more like a summation of all of the miscellaneous processes that drained the battery unexpectedly).

Not by default but you can enable it through settings>buttons.
after flashing i lost root access , i have enable it root access in dev option

@temasek the swiftkey keyboard FC eventhou the log don't show any error if no mistake (guess something do with the memory leak) happened once awhile when i wanna type something, the keyboard stall for 1 sec after that FC pop out. thanks.

Sorry if made this unclear and misleading. By default, I meant, without having to flash custom Kernels or anything to enable it. Because I've heard on some CM12.1 thread which is the 5.1 Weekly 2, the only way you can enable it on the settings menu is by flashing a custom Kernel. I just got so used to it. I'm just clarifying things. Thank you so much for you quick response!

No, you don't have to flash any custom kernel to get on-screen navigation bar. This rom has the feature embedded within it.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system I' ve added some changes from CyanogenMod and Codeaurora.
Please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.

My review after using for 2 hours.
First of all I would like to thank the OP for this ROM..
Flashed this ROM ..
booting up was very fast when compared to any other ROM(took only about 1 min)...
Camera and flashlight was working almost every time.. Hurrah. .a great improvement...
Battery backup was pretty descent..
Substratum was working fine..
Super su was working fine.no problem with sensors..
Now getting into the drawbacks..
I wasn't able to see any option for fingerprint..I looked everywhere,but was not able to find it...(only once seen in suggestion) not even shown in first boot after logging into account ...
I wasn't able to get so much additional functions...
Only ambient display...(not a big deal for me,just pointed out as other ROMs give lots of customization option)..
Like all other ROMs signal strength is some want same(no much improvement)..
NBlease don't ask volte and don't spam the thread.
No volte for this ROM. Please be patient.working on volte.will provide an answer tomorrow...

Great work. I tried it. Everything works perfectly. These are the two best roms, crDroid and AOSCP. On them I get 13-15 hours of screen work. This is a very good result. Do not leave support. You are good dev and man. Thanks for your work :хорошо:

I tried flashing. It booted back to recovery. The correct version is the 2.03 build, correct?

yes...... it's working properly... flash oos and twrp in both the sloats,flash aoscp and twrp in sloat a the restart to system, if u face any iisues wip data once
If not booting, format. Will boot straight up.
When trying to flash with TWRP, it breaks decryption process. So you end up with a bunch of scrambled filenames when you try to flash gapps/magisk. Just like Omni basically. So I guess you have to fastboot this one with a computer.
Can someone post ss of that windowtoicon? Really curious to see that

Just remove any pin, password or pattern before booting into recovery & you will be good to go

Doesn't work. It still scrambles filenames. Only difference is that it won't ask for a password when booting into twrp.. sorry.

Doesn't happen with me
boot into rom if files are unreadable in TWRP.then back reboot to TWRP.files should be visible now.presumimg than aoscp was flashed,now flash gapps and magisk.

INSTALLATION
1. Flash in TWRP
2. Reboot to Recovery
3. Decrypt
4. If it asks for a password, type [shrp] without the brackets.
5. Click Magisk on home screen and flash if necessary
6. DONE!
Warning: If you have any issues, you should dirty flash your ROM before flashing the shrp zip to avoid problems.
Reflash ROM -> flash SHRP --> reboot to recovery --> flash Magisk if you want

Themes are not working on this device as of right now! They will be fixed soon. Thanks for your patience!

You could try reducing your brightness. Some Devs are saying that it could help. Also, great news! Themes have been fixed and I will try to release the update today or tomorrow.

Yeah, in recovery you will get all cores to maximum performance for faster backup and restore and other functions, its common in all recoveries, except it is undervolted by your maintainer

just flash this new recovery, looks awesome but hv bug...try to reboot to system and reboot bk to the recovery, I try to turn off and on the OP6, same back to recovery, any cues?

Try looking at the installation again on the thread about dirty flashing. This should fix it. Also wondering, what rom are you using right now?

Theme ist not working for me
Sometimes recovery stucks on recovery logo
Maybe there is a fix available soon.
What do i need to do to install Magisk and Viper? it gives some error. Also, can you remove the SuperSU option? It's obsolete
Hey guys! Unfortunately neither of the scripts are working (SuperSU, HAL, even reboot), since there is nothing in /sdcard/TWRP. Is it an issue with only me, or a problem with the current version? Thanks.
