This threat is for all antutu and geekbench 3 tests... I wuold compare the stock version with the cyanogen and custom kernel and script tweaks but i dont have onbe plus 3 yet

cyanonen based rom+ f2fs on sistem,data and cache more the elementar x or the blu star kernel

well here is my antutu score with stock OxygenOS no tweaks or root
ok maybe not XDA does not seem to want to allow images onto their website anymore...LOL
dont tried another roms but got 142k one stock oos 1.3.1
on hydrogenos i can't grand permissions to antutu so can't tell anything

i think you have modify name model on build.prop
i think because you want a lower graphics for games... So on my s2 i9100 i write sm 935f and asphalt 8 have a amazing graphics

I copied data from Samsung phone tap style that's why it says s7 edge name haha

Hey guys I'm new to flashing ROMs and xda developer thread so I apologize in advance for any blunders about where to post this.
I've got a few questions.
1) Can I install the stock ROM of a device made by the same manufacturer as my phone ? The purpose being getting the latest android version. Given that the device is almost identical to my mine. The only difference is in terms of RAM, Camera and the number of cores of the cpu. Otherwise the cpu architecture is the same.
2) if yes, will I face performance issues since the processor of the target device is slower?
3) if not, is there a way to port its operating system manually to be compatible with my phone ?
My device : HTC 626g+ running android 4.4.2. 1Gb RAM OCTA core 1.7 GHz cortex A7 processor. Mediatek chipset. Mali 450 MP4 GPU
13 MP main camera. 5 MP secondary.
Device I want ROM of : HTC 626s running android 5.1.1 upgradable to 6.0.1. 1.5 GB RAM.
Quad core 1.1 GHz cortex A7. Snap Dragon 210 chipset.
8 MP main 2 MP secondary.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure but think you will have to wait until the source code is released. So we can get overclockable kerels and also more roms

Kangvip doesn't let you overclock, only lets you toggle cores and change governors. No one has overclocked the P9 yet but I know someone who has overclocked the p9 lite
I think it would be tad hard and not safe to overclock kirin 955 because this chip IS overclocked Kirin 950(A72 cores are at 2.5 instead of 2.3 GHz).
There is just no point of overclocking, I found out that this chip is pretty decent(dont look at synthetic benchmarks) and can work amazing even in 2018. Only problem with it is slower memory and Mali-T880 MP4, If it would be MP8(like exynos on samsung) or hell, its MP12 version it would easily fight against even this year phones. But even with MP4 I dont have problems with any games, even VR.
I just got Xiaomi Mi Mix ultimate from Gearbest, and im getting around 107000~ score in antutu, and some games are lagging
I turned on all the permissions for antutu, and battery saver is always off. Snapdragon 821 should get much more than that..

The thermal limits that Xiaomi uses for Mi Mix cause it to limit its potential performance. There are lots of things you can do, but you really need root access. If you haven't done so already, you'll need to unlock your bootloader, flash TWRP, then flash either magisk or supersu. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-mix/how-to/guide-flash-global-china-rom-root-gapps-t3510592
With root enabled, open a file explorer and navigate to system > vendor > bin, delete the perfd and thermal-engine files, then reboot. You should now get 140-150k.
