S7 flat running note8 port.
If there is an IR blaster and in-display fingerprint reader at the front then I will be one of the first guys to pre-order.

S7 ordered the S9+. Been waiting for the perfect Note-phone, but the Note 8 wasn't it and I don't think the pen is worth it anymore so 9+ should be fine for a few years.

I am stuck between S9 and V30, currently S5 owner so a huge upgrade for me.

nexus 6, and in still can't get a good replacement.
hopefully, galaxy s9 will get support of project treble.

I have a V30. V30 is the best phone for me at this moment - Lightly skinned UI, ultra wide angle camera, Quad DAC, taptic engine, slim.
I've pre-oredered the S9+ (because I am a phone whore). I enjoyed the S8 a lot last year, and S9 is going to be excellent as well. However, I can't imagine it replacing my V30 for the above features. So if the above matters to you, it's a great time to get a V30 since the prices have dropped quite a bit. It'll only cost 60% of a S9+ especially in the used market. Check out tons of S8 reviews/re-visit, it pretty much reflects what a S9 will be except S9 will be a bit better in every aspect. If those reviews don't move you, neither will S9.

hello friends
its my wish to buy this phone

I'm definitely interested, but by the time I save up enough to buy a new phone, the oneplus 6 will be released and will destroy the s9 in benchmarks.

@SirDre I own an S7 too but full stock unrooted and for me it's still perfect, i just wished it was a bit bigger and with better battery life.

In my country only V30+ Dual Sim (H930DS) version is available, the only thing which is holding me back from getting the V30+ is the bootlocker locked thing, I haven't used the phone but have watched tons of reviews on Youtube, not pretty sure I need root or not from the beginning or later when new Android versions will release by time.
Also the support, my LG G4 is at a service center for the second time, the first visit was for the bootloop issue and they changed the motherboard and now it died for no reason, won't turn on. Was my first LG phone and bad experience.
When it comes to Samsung, I have S2, S3, S5, S7 and never had to send any of these to service center for any reason, all are in great working condition.
Can you tell me how secure is the face unlock feature? Is it better or on par with Samsung's Iris Scanner? Actually I need a phone which can be with me for at least 2-3 years without any issues except accidental ones. So have to be very selective. Not to neglect that S9 has the latest hardware 845 instead of 835.

And the camera will still suck lol.
And it won't have an sd card slot
And it wont be ip68 rated
And it wont have stereo speakers.
Would be cool if it did include all those things and improve the camera drastically then id consider one

Ordered the S9 Plus from Clove yesterday. I am really excited about the Camera and the continuing progression that Samsun has made with all of their Flagships - while similar in some ways to the S8 Plus, there are enough differences for me to get excited about it - can't wait for it to come in.

Don't repost questions....
Gets very annoying for users finding an answer when there are two forms.

The Galaxy S9 will only have 12 Megapixels. Lol my G6 has 13 :good:
It'll be a while before I upgrade to a newer phone. Right now, for me at least, there's no need to. I'm probably gonna wait till the next galaxy phone after the S9 comes out and buy that one.

Using s8 atm and really happy with this device. There are two things/reasons why i would shift to s9.
1) Project Treble- I dont think s8 is capable of getting project trebele anyway so i would go for s9 which supports project treble.
2) CAMERA - Nothing to say, the camera of the s9 and especially the s9+ is a beast.

Haha yes you are right. Cant wait to unbox the s9 myself.

still on the fence about this, on one hand my s8 is working fine and the s9 is aimed at people with s7-s6 but on the other hand i'm in for a corporate upgrade meaning they pay 450 and i can sell mine for 450 making the s9+ free phone so why not

Pre ordered mine, should have it the 8th, Exynos model.

Note 8 or S9+

I am so torn between these 2. The price for the Exynos S9+ is insane compared to the SD, and I can also get my hands on a 256GB Note 8, but I don't want to buy a super awesome 1 year old processor. Looking for input.
Edit: I changed "dated" to "a super awesome 1 year old processor" for the ones that are easily distracted and/or offended.

Get the S9+ and then trade it in for the Note 9 at a big discount - unless you needed the pen... Best of both worlds

Note 8 is not "outdated tech" , as others stated above, the really important thing is, do you use, like, need, love the s pen? Because the s pen is the very heart of a galaxy note, If the only reason for you is having the "latest tech" there are many options for you to choose, even in the vivo or huawei brands, in other words, if you have doubts, then the note 8 is not for you
Sticking with the Note 8 i cant justify spending another $900 plus after a few months with the Note...just waiting for the Note 9.

That ^ and lets say you on payment plan. You just had to put $200-300 down plus payments. With the galaxy s9+ you will have to do the same all over. Is it really worth a slightly better Note 8? I don't think so.
This Note 8 is a powerful phone good for 2-3 years, maybe more. Like others said wait for Note 9 or Note 10. I myself waiting for Note 10. The rumor specs of Note 9 seems to be nothing to jump out of your seat for.
If your 1 who wants hottest phone all the time, then go for it. It's your money spend how you want.
I love my note 8, I will keep it 'till note 10 arrives, when you are really into the note series, anything else seems capped, the s pen has no match!
I'm very partial to my Note 8 I did have to get the Galaxy S8 plus because of the Note 7 issue and it was a great phone but I'll wait for the Note 9 and Note 10,I also like the dual cameras on the Note 8 how they are side by side, not really liking the cameras on the S9 plus being one underneath the other,I know they are way better specs wise but it's just an aesthetic thing for me.
Lol @ when he said dated tech. LOL.

Same here. Love my Note 8, plus I'm not one of those to upgrade every year, the new features from one gen to next is not much, just a waste of money to upgrade every year IMO considering how much phones cost these days. I love the spen so I continue to buy Note over S if possible.
I'll be waiting for the Note 10, I'm betting they are planning to make a big improvement with it being the 10, well hopefully.
As was mentioned before, the Note 8 is far from outdated. Amazing piece of tech. I recommend to shop around to save some money.
Go for the 9 if you don't use the S-pen
I say outdated, because both cpu's are being replaced in the flagship lineup. Don't get caught up on the wording.
I decided on the S9 Plus, because I stopped using the s pen. I sold my S8 plus to help fund another device, and so I rolled back to my Note 4 in the meantime, and I haven't used the S pen once. Thanks for all of the input.
S9 if you don't need Spen. Note8 if you want Spen and save some money
I for one am tired of the "gotta have it! gotta have it!" with the new phones. The changes from phone to phone aren't worth the $900+ IMO. I will be keeping my Note8 until it breaks/starts tweaking out.

I would say stick with it. We will get the ports of the software so that's not a problem and the hardware won't shine if you are comparing it to the note 8.

So in other words, we aren't going to use accurate wording that best describes what we are saying? You got the reaction that those words warranted man.
Dated is such an overstatement anyways. I actually considered buying a Note 4 for back up last night. $189 new at walmart.com.

ar emoji note 8

coming to note 8?
I do not believe! Officially, you have to buy S9, but after Note8 gets Oreo, it can be done porting the S9 application on Note8.
Port
Is porting the app a relatively simple process? I have flashed my Note 8 to Oreo and I'm curious about porting the app.

No - Its not easy and the AR emoji was made specifically to work on the S9 - it probably will not work on the Note 8 at all...but maybe there is a developer who could work magic. Don't expect to see it for a long time
Must port with cameraS9.apk.I expect Note9.

So the Note 8 definitely will not get AR emoji? I just got a notice few months ago when I'm not really into the note series I really want the 9 plus I should have waited. The note is too big for me and I like the fingerprint sensor on the nine.

Officially from Samsung, probably not.
Have you held a S9+ yet? It is a tad bit smaller than the Note 8 but not by much, pretty much the same. If you want to swap to a S9+ only because of size, you might be disappointed. S9 would be a noticeable difference but hardware is not the same as S9+

Yes I've held the S9 Plus we originally had the 7 Edge and wanted to upgrade but the 8 plus wasn't enough difference for us to upgrade. And then we saw specs of the note we got it only because it had the dual cameras an the 6 gigs of RAM and was the latest phone out plus Samsung gave us 300 bucks for our 7 edges which is the price we paid for them from Sprint on a two-year contract. But I knew the nine would be out in a few months and I should have waited. But we didn't know that Samsung would still be given $300 out for the 7 Edge so that's another reason we did it that quickly. I'm not really into the note series I have small hands and I never use the pen I don't like where the fingerprint sensor is.
The S9 plus has dual speakers with Dolby Atmos better camera the intelligent scan and of course the AR Emoji which I believe would like to have. Was going to sell my note and get the S9 plus but we just got our phones a few months back and my husband doesn't want me doing that and spending the difference on an S9 Plus so I'm hoping the note get some of the features of the 9. We've only had our notes for like 3 months I paid 650 and got offered 550 but then I'd have to pay 850 for a S9 plus unlocked so it's probably not going to happen

I have seen numerous videos and articles that all seem unanimous in suggesting people not upgrade from the Note 8 to the S9. They actually feel that it’s almost a downgrade because the only thing you are really getting is a better chip and the speakers. The S9+ is different where you aren’t losing items that the Note 8 has other than the S Pen, which in my opinion is a big loss, but you are gaining potentially a camera that’s better in low light. However, again every suggestion I’ve seen was to not upgrade. There was one person who said if you really don’t use the S Pen then maybe. I also wanted to point out what the other individual was trying to point out and that’s the difference in size. It’s S9+ at 158 x 74 x 8.5 mm and the Note 8 at 163 x 75 x 8.6 mm. So the dimensions are almost identical. You may want to hold them both in your hand. One suggestion I have for you is something that happened to me personally. When I had the Note 2 and the Note 3 was coming out, I had a friend who asked me if I was going to upgrade. I said honestly, no. I don’t really draw and really don’t use or need the S Pen. He proceeded to show me just a few things that I was unaware of and then suggested I look at a particular site and YouTube video. I ended up buying the Note 3 and everyone except the Note 5 because it didn’t have the SD card. I was completely unaware of all the capabilities. So before you pass on the Note series as a whole, I would just suggest you really learn all of the capabilities of the S Pen.
The other thing that doesn’t help is Samsung got rid of the old S Note in favor of Samsung Notes which is an inferior app. The original S Note came with Action Memo, Photo Note, Easy Chart, Idea Sketch, Scrapbook, etc. In my opinion it’s probably the best app ever for the S Pen and maybe even the best app period. I was going to say if you’re interested there’s a way to get it installed that I learned from another Thread in this site. However, I just updated my phone to Oreo and it messed up some of it. It looks like we can’t get Easy Chart installed and Photo Note looks to only work in landscape. But this just happened over the weekend, so I’m hoping that someone will figure out a solution. If you do end up with the S9+, I hope you enjoy it!

There is a post here where some guys teach how to enable scrapbook and all features and apps. Also I modded all those apps to work on nougat but I don't try yet on oreo because i don't need it now. You should try it; I'm agree with you, s note had been the best Samsung app with all features.

It seems that on oreo is really not working... to bad.
Thanks everyone! For now I am keeping my Note 8. My husband says we just got these 3 months ago and if I sell my Note and only get 550 I still have to pay the difference for the unlocked s9 plus. I just wish we would of waited but we didn't know Samsung would still be giving $300 for the 7 edge. But I have small hands and I know the 9 plus is big too I like where the fingerprint sensor is. I don't use the pen or know about other Notes and what they had but I do love my Note it's fast and I have no complaints and will be getting Oreo on my unlocked in the next couple weeks. All carriers have it now I read. But yesterday I did play with an S9 that was in this little Best Buy mobile at the mall and I made a gallery of like 18 AR Emojis and sent them to myself than deleted them off the phone so I could see what it looked like. I've seen a 9 plus on display too and yesterday he said here hold an 8 plus same as 9 plus. I wouldn't do a regular 9 cause of hardware but I was also thinking I maybe should just wait for the S10 and maybe it will be 5G ready.
We have Sprint and got unlocked so we could switch to another carrier here soon. But thanks for now I will keep my Note if hubby would of let me I probably would of done it though and got a purple s9 plus but I am not unhappy and I love my Note works great. Just hope battery stays the same or is better once we get Oreo. Cause I always had to charge my 7 edge at work in the lower level with no signal my Note I never have to charge.

Note 9 The Best

It almost 2019 and we have seen a lot of devices coming out. After looking at all the devices I think I have made the right choice of buying Note 9. I mean everything is amazing in this device build quality, display, performance, and battery its a combination of those in a perfect way.

For the price I disagree. It's a nice phone my first note but I should have waited for the s10. I only got it for the bogo deal which is actually a rip off with Verizon since I have the old unlimited plan. End up paying 55 a month for the second phone and will end up paying it off soon cuz that will end up costing more if I don't. The 5G S10 looks enticing and might end up upgrading lol

Yep, also I cannot do a notch screen on my phone. I hate it. I had an LG V10 a while back and that was as far as I was willing to go with a non rectangular screen. I actually really liked the build of that phone.
note 9 is one of these devices that will never happen again in a long time period. but SAMSUNG is at that point where u expect everything so no one appreciate anything. and this is coming from a note9 / oneplus 6 red user and i love using both, so not a fanboy here
software wise, they talk about vanilla android experience with pixels or half a second faster with oneplus or iphones, in the same time i cant see any of these phones have multi window support (i mean real multitasking not 2 apps opened in the same time) for apps ! none have 2 apps in 2 windows running at the same time, none can run 2 Bluetooth devices out of the box, none have the magnificent gallery or edge shortcuts or other samsung addons.
also for the camera:
one of the best hands down, and yes huawei and pixel are better for photos "on auto" but note9 has 4k 60 fps, better sound recording, and unmatched multiple super slow motion recording
now screen wise, hands down the best. design, is awesome notch-less design, battery is great, headphone jack, ip68, dual speakers, DEX and VR and 360 cam and other accessories.
oh and lately i read and hear oh huawei or oneplus is so generous with in box accessories! i mean really ? they have usb2 to usb c dongle or OTG dongle or AKG headphones or quality case u can actually use in the box ??
but again, samsung is doing this for a long time, no one expect less.
I actually came from a pixel 3xl. Lovely phone, good battery and the camera was just insane.
Swapped for my note 9, and I don't regret it at all. It's better phone, the battery is ridiculous - on 4hr sot at 50% - and it's just fun to use without being boring. The camera is good but just no way near the pixel, however the Bluetooth pen and taking photos from afar makes up for it with my daughter!

Note 9 the best
I'm so happy I picked up s note 9. I had reservations because the note 10 but now seeing s10 Is going with camera hole in the display that's off the table for me until they can hide it. Imagine if TVs had that hahaha
I just got a Note 9. The first Note I had since original Note. I have used all the Nexus/Pixel devices through the years as my daily driver. I did try a S3 for awhile but couldn't get over all the bloatware. After using the Nexus 6P for 2 years I switched to the Pixel XL 2. What a nightmare that phone was. Between the hardware issues and new bugs with each update I got rid of it for a S9+ What a nice peice of hardware. A couple of weeks ago I had a choice between Pixel XL 3 or iPhone Xs Max. I went with the Max. Couldn't get use to iOS and the Max made me want a bigger screen so I ended up with the Note 9.
What a terrific device. I love Ubuntu on Dex and found a few features of the S Pen to be handy too.
I no longer care about fast buggy updates and quality means everything to me now. I'm
My problems with more 9 are
Camera is average
Battery is not great at night and shutter speed is bad
Fast charging is a joke
Sound form headphone Jack is ugly besides my old nex s

note 9 is one of these devices that will never happen again in a long time period.

Note 9
In my opinion, the Note series has always been the best phone on the market for the given period.
I'm new to this Note 9 960f/DS and it is a Beauty and Beast! Luv it...

The same can be said for just about every single phone and its eventual successor.
The Note 9 is the last of its breed - big screen, big battery, no notch, headphone jack, good camera.

Yes If you compare the device with the price then there will be only a few devices which can be sold. Even if you do the comparison also Note 9 is best at that price in my point.

I don't think the Note9 camera is AVERAGE. I would say that the camera captures decent pictures with high quality.
And the battery life is good it lasts a day.
But I agree that sound quality is not up to the mark.
And it is here the official Android authority report says that the Best readers choice award and the best Phone of the year is the Note 9. Once again we proved that Note 9 is Best.

Would you still buy the note9?

Hello there!
Been a long time since I have taken a look on the forums, been a while away from samsung phones, but I still get attracted to the note 9
Read and heard some good and bad things about the note and coming from Oneplus (i have the 5) I was wondering if people would still buy the note with the knowledge you have now after using it for a couple of months..
Now with pie and the the new Samsung one ui i get even more tempted to make a switch back to Samsung..
Now with pie, yes in this context it is worth to buy. I have two, geez!!!
Note 9 is the best overall by far. So much functionality and features inside a premium device. I used 2 pixel 3, one normal and other XL, and despite the camera, I couldn't see nothing better than Note.
I'm a heavy camera user. Stock camera is great and now with Gcam working on it nothing beats this device.
In my opinion, Samsung software is the most complete at the moment.
Absolutely the Note 9 is worth it. Everything runs perfectly and pair it together with the Night Sight Gcam, there's almost no reason to look at other phones on the current market.

And do you use exynos or the snapdragon version?
Best phone I've ever owned! LOVE the S Pen functionality and I have had no issues at all. Not rooted and easily get 7 hrs odd SoT, all round brilliant device. I have the exynos version.
Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
Hands down a great Phone! EXynos!!
I'd buy it in a heartbeat today (Exynos). But that's coming form a traditional Note user. Been on this series since my Note 1 on AT&T.
Awesome Smartphone, Samsung truly has given us tons of features with this smartphone! i still got tons more to learn! Some people are saying the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is in some ways better!
i dont know if i could agree, there Amoled display are good. But not as Good as the Samsung AMOLED.. Also battery easily 7 hours on screen time and that's without root.. Huawei Mate 20 Pro they use really aggressive battery management tweaks witch leads to bugs!
The note 9 camera rocks. We had G-Cam working but the PIE ONE UI killed that. i'm sure some dev will find a way around to get it working again..
if you are after an really powerfull smartphone then NOTE9 is the way to go! if you wont gimmicks and stuff get the Huawei Mate 20 Pro!
At this point I'd save up for the Note 10. Pie should be better optimized with the hardware since its being built ground up with pie.
Rumor(hasnt been confirmed but based on "leaks"):
Bigger screen
Bigger Battery
Three cameras
Near bezel-less design.
faster charging solution

I saw that and I just don't believe it. Samsung know the markets had changed and sales haven't been as good. I expect around 1k with some decent trade ins to boot.
---------- Post added at 06:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:23 PM ----------
Not saying 1k+ is not too much because it is! Flagship prices are out of control.
Funny that where the O6T is priced is what flagships used to cost.
Now? I would wait for S10 to be shown to know direction of Note10 changes. Every year when S series is presented, you have glimpse about Note series design and functions, yes? So this year will be no different, and i would count on price drop of Note9, but yes - i would buy it again i think. Someone mentioned about prices - it`s getting pretty high, year after year so note9 was very expensive at start, and Note10? I can`t imagine price tag of this one. $1999 for best option (probably 10-12 gigs of ram and 1TB of space?) - nevertheless, note9 is enough for few years, maybe note 12 will be one i will look for, or note 13?
Would I buy it again? Probably yes, if the price is right. But the exynos version is imho still way behind the snapdragon version, sadly. This was thoroughly tested by anandtech for the S9+ and later confirmed for the Note 9. It's a pain in the ass to see that Samsung includes two different SOCs in their products which, this time around, provide a different user experience. The story apparently continues with the S10 and most likely the Note 10 respectively with the exynos version being the inferior version of the two, in terms of efficiency and LTE performance.
All that aside, the Note 9 is easily the best phone I've ever owned with a great and most complete set of features. If you can live with the SOC issue, the high cost and the huge dimensions of the device, you will be fine. It's a great device. Eventhough I personally don't like the PIE update apart from the gesture navigation.

Only if you can get the snapdragon version. Not only it's superior for gaming, battery life, smoothness, multitasking, emulation and app loading/transitioning - but the one UI on the exynos note 9 is less smooth than even oreo, really disappointed on that one. Phone priced at 1000 euro with UI smoothness of midrange phone + they f up the multitasking on android 9 and made it like google's implementation... slow to use, not convenient to use, less features...

This with both hands, snapdragon 955 will make a joke of the exynos 9820 the same way sd845 makes a joke of the exynos 9810. Also I clearly see lags in the animations in android 9, more so vs the oreo (that is actually proven to be A LOT smoother with the snapdragon SOC!!!). I am so disappointed from that SOC and the funny part is that we in Europe PAID MORE, 1000 euro is 1140 us dollars currently. SOC is like buying the most expensive computer both me and you, but I receive the best possible cpu, gpu, ssd, etc while you receive midrange cpu, gpu, ssd, motherboard and so on. There is no excuse and really important for the longevity of the phone and the experience with it... wish we had the apple's A12 in the note 9 tbh, but that's another topic (sadly I dislike a lot about apple to buy an iphone just because of the great SOC). We already see a problem with longevity (and don't me even get started on the gaming part as there is absurd difference + yes, I game on my phone), I am sure the snapdragon will be a lot smoother on the new android and UI.
@high_voltage , I agree. It's a bit of a let down that everyone despite the american users only get the second best version of the Note 9. It wouldn't be a big issue for me if Samsung in europe also provides warranty for the snapdragon variant. Sadly thats not the case and thus you are either stuck with the exynos version or you risk to get snapdragon version which might, as every phone might, develop some issues over time. In addition, Samsung makes it harder to use different phones in different regions due to their region lock.
As of now, the new snapdragon seems to be superior again but I guess we have to wait and see how it'll turn out. It wasn't always the case though, the S8 exynos version was superior to the snapdragon one based on what've read. Sadly, the One UI really fells inferior to the "old" Samsung UX, but it might get more polished over time. I still think that Samsung is able to pull it off since it has done so with the S9s when they were introduced.
So yeah, I'd buy the Note 9 again because I love the features and the SPen, eventhough I hate to be forced to spend more money on only the second best option available.

Some of the things in the one UI are great and polished, but not everything and that sad, as it's literally "samsung rushed the update" type of comment shaping while they had so much time for development and beta testing...
For the exynos vs snapdragon it was like that:
s6 exynos was vastly superior to the flawed snapdragon 810 nicknamed "the oven"
s7 exynos was superior in the CPU part to the snapdragon 820 - better battery life, better CPU, less heat, better DAC (i.e. better audio via headphones), but had weaker GPU (but by not that much!). Overall better SOC!
s8 exynos was same as speed in CPU as the snapdragon 835, but less heat and longer battery life. The DAC was also better. The GPU was noticeable slower tho even in that generation. It was no clear winner, for gaming - sd variant, otherwise the exynos.
s9 exynos is where all fall apart - CPU is a lot slower in real world (and all benches except geekbench too, mind you), the GPU is roflmao slower, the DAC in the new snapdragon 845 is vastly improved and similar to the wolfson/lucky in the exynos, battery life on the snapdragon is better WHILE being faster. The only part where the exynos is still better is that in heavy loads the phone is colder and... that's all. This year the difference was absurdly big to the point that every single review before launch was snapdragon variant as samsung send ONLY those to the popular reviewers.
Sadly, and I am talking as a "tech heavy" person that is really into electronics as a hobby and professionally - the new exynos 9820 will still lag behind even by samsungs own projections. Read a lot, it will be worse in every department vs the snapdragon 855 and both will be vastly behind the apple's A12, more competing with the iphone X A11. Sad story, really... this samsung practice should be more exposed so they can stop it. Every person on that forum that had both variants infront of him said the same thing: "I came prepared for a difference into this, but didn't expect it to be that big!" then returned the exynos while keeping the snapdragon 845 one.
Without hesitation I absolutely love my Note 9(Snapdragon). It's battery is nearly on the level of my V20 with an extended battery. With the Pie beta so far the device is on a level of its own. If you have the opportunity just buy it.

Which phone should I buy?

Hello everyone
Which phone should I buy?
1. S10 plus
2. Note9
3. P30 pro
4. Mate 20x
5. LG G8
6. LG V50
7. Any other
Plz reply with Which and Why?
Thanking in advance.
OnePlus 7 Pro
- Triple Camera
- 90hz QHD+ Curved AMOLED Screen
- Android 10 (Fast Updates)
- OxygenOS
- WARP Charging
- Snapdragon 855
- 8/12GB RAM
- 128GB/256GB Storage
- UFS 3.0 Storage
One Plus 7T Pro (overall its the best)
Mostly same as the 7 Pro but has Snapdragon 855+ (4% faster chip), 20% faster charging and 85mAh bigger battery.
it ain't much difference but it's better then regular one. Also if price ain't the issue buy McLaren Edition with 12gb of ram.
So 90Hz QHD+ AMOLED display, fast storage, 256GB storage, Triple Cameras, WARP Charging, no Bloatware and fast updates.
BUT if you take alot of pics and videos take P30 pro. It's cameras are way ahead of OnePlus. But it won't be supported for future Android updates.
As for Samsung S10 it's has the best display I've seen so far, cameras are also good. Runs well also. Battery is good (for my use) and has good sounding speakers. The only downside Samsung stock apps. I use Google apps for everything and having double of everything is annoying. Also Bixby SUCKS!!!
No s10+...kuz im using one
S10 Plus / Note9 because they are great phones and Samsung Dex is crazy great.
1. S10 plus = stereo sound ,4k 60FPS 960FPS slowmotion, but the exynos version getting hot fast
3. P30 pro = no 4K 60 @fps slow real slow motion is max at 240frames ) amazing night shots
4. Mate 20x (better telephoto lens if you need this)
7. Any other = like other said here op7 pro (no kind any notch ) 90hz etc UFS 3 storge ..
dont know \ didnt read enough about the other devices
I have the U.S. variant of the S10 plus and the battery life is crazy good.
I have US s10+ and I do not have one complaint. I actually don't mind Samsung's apps and almost have zero google apps (Just google news and maps). Screen is amazing, battery is great, phone is speedy and I have really grown to love oneui over stock android os. Oneui can do so much more. The only thing I want is a 90hz display (hoping the s11 will have it)

its nice to see someone on here with a sense of humor!
back to the topic tho, i honestly cant suggest anything right now. The hype of the S9 and the polar reviews of it makes it really hard to recommend anything with any real confidence unless you have had hands on real life experience and even then. Ya know what i mean? I like my S9, but it wasnt the extraordinary leap that it was made out to be. That being said, i came from the A8 which is a huge underdog IMHO. The front facing camera on the A8 is vastly superior to the S9. No, not a selfie person, i just have some extended family in Romania and the video quality on their end was mentioned several times when i switched to the S9.
The major releases of phones come out early in the year, so this is a good time of year to hunt for a model half way thru its first year and then the hunt for the deal is on. So its a hard call to make. Get a killer deal on an aging phone or wait to be a guinea pig in the spring.

It's almost better to wait until a phone has been out for a year, then read the reviews and decide. Of course, you're then a year behind the latest and greatest.
