Cant flash fonts through rom manager

Hello.. I have downloaded font zips in Rom Manager on my Nexus s with ICS 4.0.3...
But when i reboot in recovery and flash, it says that it has been completed, and i reboot, but its the same old roboto font anyway..
Why? anyone knows it?
It's because of the updater script. Our mount points are different
There should also be some symlinks for the roboto fonts. I can upload a correct META-INF folder in a few and you can replace the one that came with the zip
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk
As an alternative, you could also grab Font Changer from the market.

Is it possible to get Segoe WP 7 font and helvetica font for ics then? I have downloaded the zip from rom manager, but its not possible to extract the fonts from there?

Yes, definitely possible.
Actually, what might be an easier route for you is, download Font Installer by JRummy. (Market).
It comes with a whole bunch of fonts including Segoe (called zegoe there) and Helvetica (Helvetiker or something). There, it'll let u preview and apply.
Fergies method is the best, and gives you most control, but try this if you're not comfortable yet finding the rom manager download, opening with 7zip and replacing folders.

[CLOSED][FONT APKs][SAMSUNG GALAXY] San Francisco AKA SF Font (R, B, T & UT)

Hi there,
I searched on xda, but couldn't find installable APKs of new iPhone's font San Francisco AKA SF, which can be installed on Samsung GALAXY. So, I'm posting the APKS, which can be installed on Samsung Galaxys. I tested these fonts on two phones - one mine Core Prime & other Core Original. The fonts are working as it should.
I generated these APKs from TTF files using iFont. I'm going to post all most used variants - Regular, Bold, Thin & UltraThin.
Have Fun!
Here are the fonts:
Please press the thanks button, if I helped.
I'm seeing 40+ downloads, but no thanks/ posts in this thread.

Must be a compatibility issue with new Marshmallow Touchwiz.
If you really want this font, Try this: Download iFont & Convert TTF files into APK & install. Google "San Francisco TTF"..
Not sure, if this will work or not.

So, I guess, only fonts generated using iFont aren't working. :silly:
Anyways, Helvetica is a nice font too, almost same as SF.

pasted the font files into ifont custom directory but when i go into ifont > myfont it doesn't show up? (my phone is rooted)
---------- Post added at 02:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:41 AM ----------
ok.. so i realized they were for installing font (sorry) and i installed them, went into ifont and selected the font but it doesnt change..
This is what worked for me, as the font (after installing the apk) showed up in the font options but did not apply.
Download the apk. Find the apk in your download folder. Rename the file from ".apk" to ".zip". Extract the .zip file. Find the ttf (filename/assets/font/). Copy the ttf and paste it in ifont/custom/ folder. Open ifont, under "MY" tab click "My Font". Select the font, then hit "SET" at the bottom.

unzip the module and navigate to /system/fonts/ and create a blank file called "hTC_ColorEmoji.ttf" that will get the new emojis to show. just re zip the contents of the unzipped folder and flash/install

Both this and the iOS emojis don't seem to override everything in Silence, the smssecure fork on fdroid. In the keyboard they display as the module intended, but within the app they're still regular android emoji

This is the default behavior of Signal and its forks.
I haven't used Silence, but depending on how close of a fork it is to Signal, you will find "Use system emoji" under Settings -> Advanced.

Seems it only gives me the option to enable/disable the app's emoji drawer, but using the keyboard emoji page still results in the default android emoji (or Silence's own) being used. Thank you for the info

[Discontinued] MidnightFonts: On-The-Go Fonts

MidnightFonts: By OldMidnight
This is my first attempt at making a Magisk module. Learned Loads, really enjoyed it, can't wait to keep going!
This module allows you to easily and systemless-ly change fonts on your device. With a couple terminal commands and a reboot your device can become YOUR device. No need for a custom recovery or unused font zips taking up storage space. The module cleans up after itself meaning you'll never need to have multiple font zips on standby!
How it works
1) Open a terminal (termux, terminal emulator, etc)
2) Grant root access(if you're using termux, make sure to cd to the root directory at this point!)
3) Type cd then
Code:
fonts
4) Follow instructions and select a font
5) Reboot and enjoy!
Make sure to hard reboot your device by holding the power button for 10 seconds after applying a font!
Request Fonts in *Our Telegram Chat Here* for them to be added to the module. The font's list below will be updated regularly with included fonts. I intend to keep the module size to a minimum so unused fonts will be removed when appropriate.
Font's List
Code:
Helvetica Neue Best
Ubuntu Updated
Caviar Dreams
Google Product Sans
Comic Sans Original
Rosemary
Scifly
Lato UI
Chinacat
Cocon Light/Tall
Century Gothic
AppleMint
Pycuaf
Bellota
GoodDog
Oxygen
Oswald
Raindrops
Armani
Cool Jazz
Storopia
Bariol
Oneplus Slate
Exo
Exo2
Google Sans Mod
Persona5(CustomMade)
Cocon Original
Chococookey
B612
Format for a submission
Considering there are over two hundred fonts available in @gianton 's post, requests will need to follow a certain format to save time and me a headache!
Code:
1) name of font as written in the post linked
2) post out of the 4 available its on
All locally stored fonts are kept in /sdcard/MidnightFonts
The module requires magisk v15 minimum.
The module uses font's available here, credits to @gianton
credits also to @Zackptg5, his unified-hosts-adblock script was a godsend for a complete newbie to Magisk module making like me!
