Yeahh ?

Swipe navigation app is a great option too , it makes you swipe from all the bottom of your screen instead of home area only and its invisible .
So you can use the free space under your screen to swipe properly .so, you swipe left to back , mid to home and right for recent apps , you can make other gestures like opening some apps and so on .
It requires root and you can delete and restore your original navigation bar in order to hide it .

Some screenies of X bar home, nav bar is set completely transparent. X bar home is superb solid & stable.

Does it work like the CM7 toggles? In the market page says it puts shortcuts, not toggles
Thanks for the tip, but.. bar control force closes on the 4G. I guess we have to wait for a custom ROM as all the other bar notification programs do not toggle 4G and some won't toggle wifi either.

Thanks, what path did you use for 4G toggle?

This is only a little workaround until we get the true notification toggles. This is not a toggle -- it's just a shortcut to the 4G settings screen. But still way easier.
When you load bar control, I'm pretty sure you choose that first 4G icon (with no icon). Selecting that puts it in your notification bar (second screen shot). Then, selecting it from your notification bar should bring you to the 3rd screen shot.
I'm still workin on a theme there.. so colors a little funky
Almost there.

Notification toggle in the market is almost perfect except when you press the toggle it brings up a pop-up to confirm the action. Other than that it great and customizable.
Patiently wait

[Q] Transparent Navigation Bar

When I first goty Nexus, straight out the box, I had a transparent navigation bar. .. Not only on.my home screen, but on most apps I can remember (gmail, gapps, Facebook, etc). But somewhere between flashing and wiping and restoring and unroofing and rerouting, etc (you get my drift), I now have only transparent on my home screen, and not throughout my native apps. Anyone know how to restore that, or mod it back to transparent?
Stock ROM only has transparent Nav bar on homescreen.

The only similar thing I saw on KitKat was expanded mode or expanded desktop, which sort of did that when the Nav bar came back from an "off screen" state. Might be available on L too...I'm not sure, I don't use Nav bars.

Firstly, why ask here? Why not ask in the RR thread?
Secondly, that's not the nav bar, that's the lock icons and you can change them in Settings>Configurations>Lock Screen (at the top)>Lock screen shortcuts

Gestures and status bar icons coming from OP6t

Hi I'm looking for suggestion options or just tricks that would allow me to change how gesture controls work. I am coming from OP and much more prefer swiping from the bottom to go back as I have to many things that go into menus from left or right so is there a app out there that allows better control of that.
Also all my previous phones had the ability to hide status bar icons by default or by pressing the gear settings icon, is that available in 11 or with pixel 5?
Thanks for the help.

For navigation, I use Fluid NG (I don't have this phone however).
Pixels don't have the ability to hide statusbar icons.
Thanks! Requires root?

On Android 11, yes. Fluid NG cannot hide the navbar on 11 so you have to do it with some method that requires root.
Oneplus 8 pro coming tomorrow.
Actually, system UI tuner shortcut from Brian c in the playstore will let you hide statusbar icons without root.
Navbar is a different story!
Icons is what I wanted will try. Ty
Worked great! Ty
