(NOT A PROJECT)Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 (SM-J710FN) Root - SuperSU

Hello there guys.Feels nice to come back to XDA Developers again.I really need some help with my phone.
I want it to root it so i can delete all the stupid pre installed and non uninstallable apps samsung offers.
Apparently I have the model with the (F)N in the end,so I dont think the other methods would work in my case.
I have bricked an older device called Lenovo Vibe Z (K910) which had some factory problems and I tried to fix them,so I am a bit afraid of trying the methods given(Magisk,Xposed, etc)
What would you recommend?
Sorry for any misunderstanding, but I dont certainly know where I should have posted that thread.

I don't have this device but, your device information is a bit confusing...
The SM-J710FN was released in April of 2016 as outlined in the following link.
http://www.phonemore.com/samsung-galaxy-j7-2016-sm-j710fn/specs/2747
The 2017 Variant was the SM-J730 (Variants) with no "FN" indicator as outlined in the following link.
http://www.phonemore.com/samsung-galaxy-j7-2017-j7-pro/models/1658
With that stated...
The following area of the forum is specific to the J710 Variants.

This could be contributing to your inability to locate information on your specific device.
This is an innocent mistake that isn't a big deal...
Good Luck!

I don't have your device but, i just wanted to recommend/suggest the Wondershare PC Software.
Though, i can't state that it will root your specific device but, it's been very successful with rooting many other devices.
Even though the following thread is on another area of the forum, for a different device, it does have a very good (step by step) outline on what to do that is the same steps for using the software for rooting devices in general.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2992565
I just wanted to help you out the best I can and i, personally, don't really have any further ideas to help you out.
Good Luck!

Support for rooting A7 (2016) SM-A7100 please

Hello, the model of my Samsung phone is SM-A7100 and i am desperately looking to root. I have access to two root files but sadly they are the previous 2 builds. I am looking for help and or clarification that rooting with old build numbers would be fine?
Thank you in advance for any help

The GApps package isn't needed and not everyone uses it.
The Package is only for Google Play and depending on which size GApps package determines how much more comes with it. There's apps out there that requires it as well as those that doesn't. I'm not sure exactly how to tell which is which really.
The following thread is the Official GApps thread for you to read and post any further questions you may have.

I have the Samsung I9500 and CPU architecture ARM71
Do you have a Custom Recovery like TWRP?
Yes that is what I used to flash Xposed as shown on youtube so I tried to do it all properly but its not working.
Do you have a Custom Firmware like LineageOS?
No I do not cause you should not need too just flash Xposed with correct version and your phone should boot.
Please let me know which firmware of Xposed should I flash?? Arm 21 variants do not work.

I believe that the following thread guide is the one for you.
Be sure to follow the steps on the OP. I saw some posts on that thread confirming that it does work on the I9500 with Android 5.x Firmware.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3113160
I had a feeling that there was a different approach to your S4 device and i didn't want to provide any guidance under an assumption for your specific device.
Also note the specialized apk and framework installation. This is why, what you tried, didn't work.
I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you I tried the xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-exynos.zip when doing it before and it failed cause i needed a Custom Rom that is Deodexed so I will try it again and let you know very soon!
Also note the specialized apk and framework installation. This is why, what you tried, didn't work.
I installed this APK but my phone could not load anyway so I could not see it?

Update on APK :victory:
The new XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk works! No funny message just that i now need to flash! So I pray It works!
Update failed:
I was right the flashing failed cause it requires Deodexed but i will try another and see if it works if not restore!
Update: Stuck on samsung Logo
Flash was successful but as before stuck on Samsung Logo might have to go back to Android 4.4 to use Xposed!
Successful flash Uninstall
If you can find a solution to this please let me know as it can help others with the same issue!

Troubles rooting an accent speed X2

Hey guys i'm new to XDA honestly and i wanna root my accent speed X2
is Magisk any useful
Otherwise Is there any method to root it beside kingroot because it seem to not work
Thanks in advance
Welcome to XDA.
There's not a lot of information to be found for that device, but if it's anything close to stock Android you should be able to use one of the two installation methods, as documented here:
https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html
If you run into any kind of trouble along the way, you might be able to find some information here:
https://www.didgeridoohan.com/magisk
If you need further info on other details, both the XDA search feature and your search engine if choice are great tools, as most things probably have been covered before. Of course, if you can't get things up and running, asking for help on the forums is always an option. Just make sure to ask in the right places so you don't postout of topic. For general Android stuff there are several forums available, as an example:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
Good luck.
Thank you didgeridoohan for help you know that i'm new and don't know proper places to ask for anything tho imma go post a thread in the right place Thank you very much
No worries. If you have Magisk questions you are of course always welcome to post here in the Magisk forum.
And please do share if you get things running.
