Yep, it should be there. :good: At least that's what I've heard from people who have had some time with review units.
It does, it's positioned in the middle of the notch near the top between the earpiece/speaker and the camera. It's not very bright but it's there. I currently have a review unit so let me know if you've any more questions!

From my time with it so far, I don't see any setting for double tap to wake so I don't think it's a feature to be honest. I will say, the Face Unlock is incredibly fast and works in very dark scenarios also which is good. The fingerprint scanner on the front is also extremely fast to use.

Will keep this and let you know I get on. I went into a phone shop today and got to play with the P20 for a few minutes. My impression was positive. I can also confirm the LED notification. Screen estate on the P20 is great so can imagine the P20 pro is even better. I have to say that the IPS screen on the P20 was also really good (even with a black wallpaper) so can imagine the P20 pro being even better with a black wallpaper given it is AMOLED.
The phone felt snappy. The only concern I had was around the placement of the fingerprint being so low at the front. I'm sure there will be ways to get used to this and also the face unlock to make things easy.

YouTube needs the sideloaded app, but Netflix works with HDR (it doesn't on the Mate 10 Pro).

Is anyone else experiencing this?
When I have one of my Bluetooth Bluetooth headsets connected to any of my devices (Note 2, Note 3 and Nexus 7), and watch YouTube video it works fine in portrait mode. But one I go to full-screen mode I get the little Chromecast icon in the middle of the screen and the video dims and it stays that way even after returning to portrait mode. It is very annoying. (SEE PICS BELOW)
If BT is not connected I have no issues.
Going to work now, tonight I see if I can figure out how contact Google about the issue, just to make sure they are aware.

Its an android one device and hence I will answer your questions in order now:
1. No true face unlock yet, you have google smart lock, If android Pie adds native face unlocking directly then thats a different thing.
2. Moto Display is whats the signature of motorola. It may have a light but not for notifications.

The flash sale starts from today, i'm gonna buy this two weeks from now so i have a small request to the ones who are going to buy one power in the first flash sale, and that is checking gcam modded apks on this device, from the reviews i've seen moto one power isn't that good in the camera department, so please check if using gcam makes a big difference to the stock camera.

Moto one power's camera is not that that great from the sample pictures I've seen in Youtube or other reviews, especially in low light compared to Asus max pro M1(6GB) or Redmi note 5 pro. Nokia 6.1 plus doesn't take great pics either, from the stock camera app, but with Gcam modded apps found in Xda it took pictures look downright amazing. if we get a Gcam working for Moto one camera, we'll have photos that will be so much better than the ones took from Moto camera. if i'm right i think to get Gcam working, camera2 API should be enabled. it probably won't require root.

Nothing much...
Just use single sim
Clear off ram frequently
Use earphones for media coz speaker sucks alot of power
Optimize all apps under battry optimization
Turn of AI boost
Just make sure battery is not being used in other unwanted stuffs. And there you go.. you can easily get 7 to 8 hours straight atleast.

Use single sim only.. use a network that can provide 4 or 5 bar signal. Turn off AI BOOST.. optimize all battery settings. Turn of AI Charging.. instead of it use the time duration for which you actually sleep. Clear your ram through period. Instead of speaker use earphones. And make sure to cut off every irrelivent power supply. And there you go.. you can drag atleast 7 to 8 hours on normal usage. From 100 to 1.

Download and Change theme from factory app.
You will have to customize app icons and wallpaper. Coz i am sure you wont gona like it anyway.
I can suggest you my personal fav. "Our own darkness". Its a black theme with yellow and orrange highlight.

I have noticed some bugs! Lockdown is not available even after turning it on, and the power button menu still looks the same! It looks so old and pathetic. Also no sliding gesture available in multitasking pil. Quick icons and setting icons are still same (which is still okay but anyway the update is here) ,and anyone got any pixel like theme? which will change the notification panel quick icons and all?

Which one is it really? Using WW 8.0 atm, thinking about updating, should I wait for next one this month?

As far as I can tell there's no settings on these phones to change the notification panel. The only way is using the built in Themes app for ZenUI. That's how I got dark theme for it and the Asus apps.

Better you wait. I have updated to Pie and didn't realize that it is TW version. I have an Indian 5Z. Now I am wondering what if I found some strange bug and have to go back to Indian release and if it'll be possible. Asus haven't helped at all and if I can't update to the Indian version my only option is to downgrade and then update again. Plus, this TW build has some bugs. So better wait for official version of your respective country.

if i remeber good developer of camera mod for N8 Cvolton week or two says he find an port of s10 camera but for nwo is all quiet and dev nothign says more about it. But i hope soon samsung release an update where we get night sight

utmost respect to developers as they put lot of efforts to make custom ROMs. But over the time i have realized the porting is either difficult for some reasons or they don't port others next flagship phones' software to old ones. they just port existing phone's ROM with bit more customization and add those features that are upgradeable from galaxy stores or APKs e.g. bixby etc

Are there any special settings that we need to enable for this version to work correctly? Does Night Sight work?
It works pretty well with the default settings. You could change the HDR+ parameters to get better HDR but it takes longer for a picture. Night sight works for me but it takes a while to shoot.

We got links to gdrive of otas. Check v50 forum. Yes I'm on android 10 and is a beast. Camera v9 is insane in quality. Firmware very snappy, 0 lag. Baterry life 10h+

Yeah i've seem the video and honestly the gesture navigation is a bit laggy and buggy. It's not smooth as the OnePlus gestures. I've tried the OnePlus 6t's android 10 gesture and it's amazing and very smooth

Keep in mind YouTube ads lag when uploading a video to it. I can show you the real video of screen recording and I can assure you it's lag free. My concern is that animations are to fast.

May I ask how you registered with an Account from Korea? I tried to register an account in the Quick Help App which worked.
But I can't attend any betas since the account is not from Korea (i guess).

Hello, Chris! Let me give you another answer. You won't be able to enroll to android 10 beta from quick help. Or at least for lg v50 I didn't see any option in that app. I've spent hours translating with Google Lens.
You can make the account compatible by creating it from the website. It will then be accepted. Doesn't support login with Google or Facebook accounts. It must be with email login. Gmail is accepted.
But if you're on LG g8 you have the tool to download it. Developer.lge.com lg beta Downloader is the program for windows...

It only works with lg g8 korean which has the exact 3 back cameras as lg v50...
