Just curious if anyone with the US model 1806 gotten a patch update recently within the last couple months. Im still running with the the June 2017 patch.
Ive seen some people saying they have an October or January or February patch, so just wanting to see what others may have if its different
My build number is NPS26.116-26 no updates available to download from the phone

The January 1, 2018 security update landed on my phone about a week ago. It's number NPSS26.116-45-9. You have to have October you can get this one, though. I am using a retus model. Probably too late to find my zip though. You might wanna check Reddit.

may i ask which version you have 3g/32gb or 4g/64gb
Yeah, I have the 3/32GB version. Interesting idea.
I got the 4/64 and i flash the lastest firmware already and i got the the January patch i am in US....

i wonder why my retus model didnt get an update stuck on july 1 2017.. And i got it midway through december so i would think that I would have gotten a software update out of the box over wifi for it? then again right now its bootloader is unlock and the bootloader says the software is modified?

I just got the message for the January Security update for XT1806 (retus sanders). Trying to figure out a way to patch and keep root... Or patch then re-root.

Doing just that, I was being cheeky when I said "figuring out ..." I was hoping that flashfire or RSDLite was still an option... but your steps above are still the easiest thing to do.

Yesterday I received the update with security patch 1 January and I have the model XT1806 us ...... So I waiting for the Oreo update....

do you mean OTA or do you have the actual firmware so i can start from scratch?

Hi. I have a TA-1004
i bought it used though in warranty etc.
Phone is on android 8.0.0 with 1 march 2018 security update.
Whenever i check for software update, it says your phone is upto date.
I downloaded the zip file and when i tried to upgrade it from stock recovery, it said you cant downgrade. As that 8.1 OTA zip had feb security patch.

I haven't received any update for my PRA-LX1C02B148 for 10 months, so decided to try with Firmware finder, and I updated up to PRA-LX1C02B162. Now, the next version is, and I'm not sure should I update it, Prague-L11C02B163. I also noticed there is Oreo update on Firmware finder but it says I'm not ready for that update.
So please, help with this L11, what should I do?
You can safely update. Afaik l11 is pra-lx1 single sim, and l31 is pra-lx1 dualsim. There is also l21.

Looks you are OXM csc, should receive the security patch if May.
Probably you can try check the update with smart-switch.

Firstly please note,
i might be wrong.? with my assumption below?
Anyway when i did not received any OTA, i realized that i had to "align" (same) CSC
I had to flash my correct latest (handset) service provider software to sort it out.
if i look at your CSC it's ...... DBT/DBT/BRI
Apparently CSC.. ... /.... /BRI , is "hardcore". You cannot change that/original CSC ?
Now I'm on CSC.... XFV (Vodafone /Vodacom)
Only when i managed to "align"
my CSC to " XFV/XFV/XFV" i again started to received OTA again.
I'm on May Security patch.
See screenshots.
Now as i stated above. I might be wrong
but this is the only way i managed to get my
OTA sorted out..
Above method worked for me.

I purchased a cellphone yesterday Motorola Power One. its working fine, but I want to ask n know two things,
1. It has unlocked "bootloader" and on all restart it says to relock it to secure it. If I relock it, will still work or stop working?
2. It has Android 8.1.0 SKU XT1942-1 BUILD NUMBER OPT28.81-45 When I click update it shows Your Device is up-to-date
Android version 8.1.0
Current Version OPT28.81-45
Security Patch level September 1, 2018
But today I saw this update
XT1942-2_CHEF_RETAIL_9.0_PPTS29.74-29-2_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml
I want to know can I update this version and how to?
Please help me as quickly as possible
