LATEST VERSION: 'Hotfix' for Energy Bar disappearing randomly, please let me know if the fix worked, it's based on remote devices' feedback. Thanks for the patience.
UPDATE: The App is now available for the Note 8, for a limited time you can grab the full version at a discounted price on Google Play Store. As an appreciation to the community testers, am releasing a limited features free version on XDA, you can download from the attachments! Any support to development will be much appreciated.
Greetings! I made this special Curved Edition of Energy Bar for Galaxy S8/S9/+ and Note 8 (pending release). Look forward to hear community feedback on this.

Many of you who have a Windows Mobile past like me, might have instantly recognized the thin colorful line(s) in the above image. And for the new Android generation, introducing Energy Bar - a pulsating Battery indicator!
Energy Bar puts a thin line on top of your Status Bar whose length corresponds to your device's current Battery level.
Got a full charge? The line will cover the whole width of your screen.
Battery depleting? So will the length of Energy Bar.
After several iterations (thank you for the feedback, early testers), the App is now feature packed:
Energy Bar can be configured from a width of 1 pixel to cover the entire status bar
Energy Bar puts almost 0% load on CPU, as it wakes up only to reflect any change in battery level
Energy Bar's origin can be configured as left/center/right
Energy Bar can hide on fullscreen content (apps, videos, images, games etc)
Energy Bar can be configured to change colors automatically depending on the live battery level
Energy Bar could have a mono color/multiple color segments/gradient
You can literally assign any color in the world for your favorite configuration
Energy Bar as a cool pulsating animation whenever a power source is plugged into your device
There is something about visual over numbers that keeps you and your device's battery level in sync with just a glance. You may find it intuitive/effective/stylish way to read the battery level, let me know what you think

I recommend Download Progress ++ (standalone/noroot version of the old Xposed module), but I don't know if it's available in your country. Works flawlessly on the Note 8 (Nougat or Oreo).

No, what's in the Play Store is NOT the "Special Curved Edition for Note 8" the OP refers to. It's the old version discussed in another thread. Apparently, @jagan2 has chosen not to publicly release a Note 8 version at this time, making it impossible for users to give any significant feedback besides commenting that those are nice pictures!
There is an apk on APKMirror that claims to be the 1.3 beta, but only @jagan2 can tell us if it's legitimate.

I'm on Oreo Note 8. App works great but at times the bar disappears while using some apps.
Otherwise, it works flawlessly!

Thanks for clarifying to other members.
And there has been no Note 8 edition publicly available until now. Since I don't have a Note 8, I needed more detailed feedback which I felt a closed serious testers group would be able to give.
And you can see the results in the first post now, the App is now available for a wider range of testers.

Oh yes, it always did appear back and hence didn't worry much.
Also, since I restarted my phone this morning (probably the first time since I installed your beta app), I haven't had any issue with the Energy bar disappearing. There were only 2 app's where i had initially noted that issue - Play store & Whatsapp.. but both are working fine now.
Will try out the xda exclusive apk that you updated in OP now & let you know if I find any other issue. Either way, will buy your app from play store - you have done an awesome job and more than happy to support you!
Cheers!!

Thanks. IMHO, the corners of the 1.3 beta looks better (more pronounced) than the ones from the 1.1 in the Store (a bit too subtle) on a Note 8 running Oreo, but that's a matter of preference. No other obvious functional differences but I should have waited for the discounted price!

I prefered the LazyTube tile with the youtube colors rather than the theme color. Too many developers do that, it get boring having a whole main page made of the same color.
As for features, I just love the app.

Glad you like the app! Will try and do something about the tile but we've had quite a bit of positive feedback from the introduction of the latest one/
The apps itself is great (thx for ad free version). I am living in marketplace unsupported country. Once there will be a possibility for buying the app in my country so I will buy it.
Thank you for good work.

Now don't you dare to change that tile again! Honestly, it's great. It's just that small area around the word "tube" that adepts the style color. It fits perfectly into the homescreen. I like it exactly the way it is.

Yeh, we are really quite happy with how the tile is now and at the end of the day it's nearly impossible to please everyone but we'll continue doing our best.
That's odd. The tile icon on my copy (v 2.2) doesn't change at all. It looks exactly like the icon in the OP. Maybe I need to uninstall/reinstall?
[Edit] Never mind. I just figured out that the complaint was about the Lazy Tube icon, not the free version.
I need to say that I like your app so much. And I am also in the country which cannot buy the app. But if I can in near future, I will buy it for sure.
Just another shallow comment. Would you mind to re-design your application logo?

If you make a theme scrolling down Wormy's body please make that just an add-in skin. That would be Ugly IMO. Sorry.
I have a Question about the Lazylist. You say it's customizeable but how? Also can I make a suggestion? How about a way to make playlist on Youtube(Desktop) that can be imported to your fine App?
Hi,
Is there something you could do to improve the Favorites please?
Certain videos do not appear in the said list. The mobile phone restriction shall not apply to smartphones.
HTC YouTube and SuperTube apps give me access to these videos.

Hi, we will constantly be looking to improve our brand image so yes the logo will no doubt change over time. We are currently focusing on some new and exciting functionality so it may be a little bit before we have the time to address the logo but we'll definitely consider it.

Yeh, we've had a very mixed reaction to our beloved lazy worm and it seems like it's very much love/hate. I think for the mean time we'll probably focus on providing an amazing experience rather than skinning the app.
The content displayed within the Lazylist can be selected from within the 'Lazylist' settings screen. So it will populate video content from your preferred feeds and mash them into one list.
We will also definitely consider playlist support for future updates.

Could you please send us an email ([email protected][DOT]com) with the exact list of videos that are not displaying. We will do our best to get to the bottom of it, if HTC displays them I'm assuming perhaps it is a bug from our end.
Thanks for the fantastic feedback guys!
By the way, expect a little update to be out soon. Although it's a minor update that addresses some pretty nasty bugs we've found we also added in a few features we think you will like .

These videos are indicated on the website as "cannot be played on mobile phones".
But in my opinion we are not concerned, they are talking about formats that shall not be played on basic phones. Not smartphones. If SuperTube can play them LazyTube shall play them too, seriously. You are limiting your app too much.
Regarding the current LazyTube logo, I shall admit that I do not like it too much. I really did not like the Worm, but the new one is a bit boring. Especially the name "LazyTube" is not very positive. Hard to like somehing that is "Lazy"
Why not a real Metro icon, I mean totally the color of the theme, and just the name in transparency? Anyway, I am sure we can do better.
I am a terrible designer, but why not this spirit (just an humble suggestion):
Love the app
I have been using this app since I got my Focus over a month ago. I love it and am waiting anxiously on what new features are in the works. Any hints

We will investigate it further, as I said before we're just trying to be cautious. You mentioned that the HTC app displays them? Can you confirm this, like I said we'd be interested in knowing exactly which videos are not being displayed so we can look into it properly.

Our name and brand is not something that we can change at this stage, admittedly perhaps we went a little too far with the 'light hearted' approach but we wanted to have a little fun with it.
We are a two geeks who like to work through the night and often find ourselves sleeping in so 'lazyworm apps' was kind of a way of making fun of ourselves.
We were hoping people would not take the "lazy" too seriously and see it for what it is, a light hearted way of distinguishing our brand from the rest.
We have had mixed reactions to it and so far people either love it or hate it... so at least we are not 'mediocre'
Finally, the icon has been a really tough one as nearly every revision has a similar reaction to that of our brand. Either love or hate, we will no doubt work very hard to improve our brand but as I mentioned we will be focusing on streamlining the app and adding in new features at this stage.

[ICONS] Etched Suite - introducing Etched Material

New: Etched Material
Etched Material is a beautiful, modern theme that draws on Android L's Action Buttons to bring simplicity to your homescreen. Flat colors, clean lines and gentle shadows bring the future of Android design to your launcher.
Etched Material complies stringently with the color palette of Google's Material guidelines. Consequently, it will look great on Android L or on any theme that takes cues from it.

wow these look fan-F$%ING-tastic.
about the vivid, icons need some more oempfh
not much contrast between logo and icon (firefox/shazam for instance)
could be fixed by a bit stronger outline or a light shadow
are you going to add a psd template for people to help you out on icons?

Very glad to get such a positive response, and thanks for providing some useful suggestions!
You raise a good point about the Vivid outlines - it's not something that's problematic on my phone, but it's hard to predict how it will look to others given the huge range of screens on Android devices. An outline would certainly be a good 'fail-safe' in situations where there isn't otherwise enough displayed contrast. I'll experiment with your suggestion and release an update in the coming weeks.
I'm in two minds about releasing a template. I'm actually using a pretty complicated setup at present with a lot of custom written scripts (to support multiple themes and resolutions from one template). It would take quite some effort to get that into a state where I could distribute it.
I could take submissions for just the SVG glyphs the etched part of the icon), whichwould approximately half the time to add a new icon. I could even post a template to facilitate that . However, since I hope to add bonuses to the premium theme, I'm not sure how I feel about profiting off the help of others. I'll give this some thought though - perhaps I could include all community icons in the free theme.
Let me know if you come up with any other suggestions.
Icon Requests
Hi mejogid,
It's Testerwoot from Reddit. Again, thanks for making this set, it's not often that new unique icons are made for Android. I like your 3D effect icons, and it's hard to choose between the Candy and Vivid sets.
For both, I was wondering if I could submit a few icon requests. The icons are as follows:
Foursquare
Settings (Samsung)
Songza
Apollo (Music Player)
Viper4Android FX
Samsung WatchON
Cyanogenmod Torch (installed via Aroma on Hyperdrive ROM)
ES File Explorer
iFont
Hyperdrive Hub
Hyperdrive Tweaks
Xposed Installer
Isis Wallet
Root Explorer
QR Droid
Zite
Reddit Flow
AirDroid
Bible
Tasks
Transit
Whew, that's a long list! Whenever you have time, man, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback - I'll add those to my list and will add them as soon as I can. That should be within the next couple of updates, but I might be a little slow to start with as I don't currently have internet at home. Let me know if you have any more requests; it's very helpful to get an idea of what icons my users actually need.
These are great been using them for a few days now.

Nice icon pack!
These are really pretty icons, and I'd love to use them daily, but right now there's just too many icons for apps I use that haven't been themed yet.
I know how tedious it can be to trace icons, tweak the layers, paths, etc., and I have a modicum of ability in photoshop and would love to help out where I can.
Is there any chance you'd be willing to release a template and allow user submissions for inclusion in the free versions of the icon packs?
Regardless, great work on these, I'll definitely keep my eye on them to see how they progress!
I've updated the theme to include all the suggestions I've recieved, including those of busterdev and Jephre above. The themes should be far more comprehensive now.
Give 'em a try if you haven't already! I've added a tonne of icons to every theme as well as making improvements to all existing icons. There are now more than 900 in total across the suite.
thank you for your awesome icon. here some of icon requested and some activity name need to be fix. ill make it easy for you.

I'm glad you enjoy the icons - let me know if you have any feedback about the general style etc.

Cheers, I'll add that to the top post. I've just finished an update including the icons that you (and some others) have requested. It should hit the paid app in the next few hours and the free version shortly after that.

Thx. Now most of my icons theme and it looks awesome!!! Waiting for next release. Hope all icon theme. Great job dev!!
I'm toying round with some potential new ideas for an extra theme... the bottom one needs a lot of work in terms of shadows, but I'm just toying with the idea at this point. I'd like to know if anybody is particularly drawn to either possibility!
Hi all - I've just added a new theme - Etched Material - based on what we've seen of the Android L Developer Preview. It takes inspiration in terms of the Action Button and the color scheme. Let me know what you think!
There have also been a bunch of updates to the existing themes, including much improved icon coverage and new icons.

Exclusive Second Preview - Android 5.0 (Lollipop) on Samsung GALAXY S5

A month ago, SamMobile gave you folks an exclusive preview at an alpha build of Android Lollipop running on a Galaxy S5, but as Samsung was still working on making TouchWiz compatible with Google’s new design guidelines, a lot of inconsistencies could be seen throughout the user interface. Nevertheless, thanks to our elite friends, we have scored a new internal Android Lollipop firmware for the Galaxy S5, which is leaps and bounds better than the build we previewed before, so let’s see what’s new.
First and foremost, Samsung has upgraded its Android Lollipop base from LRW58J to LRX02E. Now, even though the Korean giant is using an updated source code, the build is still missing the Lollipop branding, which indicates that it’s not using the most recent code from Google. However, the new LRX02E build does change the Android version from ‘L’ to ‘5.0’ and also brings in the new Android Bird game as an easter egg, but instead of using lollipops as blockades, the current build uses black and yellow striped rectangles — this was probably a security measure taken by Google to prevent the Lollipop branding from getting leaked before the official announcement.
Samsung’s latest Lollipop build brings in a plethora of changes, mostly to the user interface, and at the same time adds a few new features as well.
List of changes in the new Lollipop build compared to the old one:
• New Note 4 fingerprint lock screen
• New system-wide font — similar to the original one, but a tad thinner.
• New animations, much smoother than before — there’s a screen off animation present as well.
• Google Search bar in recents menu
• Brightness slider in notification centre has a new yellow colour — while changing the brightness, the notification centre disappears and allows the user to view the content beneath it.
• Removed “Interruptions” from Sound settings
• Gallery: Media can be sorted using new filters including Pets, Events, Scenery, Documents, Food, Vehicles and Flowers.
• Music: Improved UI
• Clock: Navigation bar icons are now accompanied by text
• Calculator: Removed square grids which surrounded the numbers and symbols
• Contacts: New search box
• Stock Material Design inspired applications receive colored status bar
• Android Lollipop theme’s core green elements replaced with Samsung’s blue colour
• Settings: Improved UI, new icon colours
• New UI for setting wallpaper from home screen
• Better spacing between options in power off dialog
If we compare the latest Lollipop build with the one we previewed earlier, it’s a night and day difference. We are really amazed by the amount of progress Samsung’s software engineers have made in such a short time. Now, we know that all the Samsung fans out there want this build badly, but we can’t leak it just yet simply because it’s still in an early stage, and is nowhere near a daily driver. We can’t put our readers’ devices at risk.

apart of the ugly colours they ruin the user's experience with those humongous icons and fonts. stock dpi shouldn't be 480 but around 290-340. in this range the whole ui looks much better

Yeah, I hate how Samsung has dumbed down the whole interface, it just makes it look ugly. Not even sleek anymore.

Cm 12 comes before tw 5.0, so dont need use tw
Is it common sense now that samfirmware/sammobile is samsung's official street team?
Well it should be, now that I've said it. Because they obviously are.
Anyway ROM looks nice I hope they do a good job.:good:

I did like TW on the S4. Man, chill out. I'm just trying to have a conversation here. No need to get upset. Its only my opinion on the UI, if you like it, its all good man. I was thinking I know how to flash a ROM so I have no problem changing to CyanogenMod. I was only saying I would have stuck with TW if it was nicer (in my opinion).
Wow, this community is a lot more hostile than I remembered.

""Touchwiz grew on me up until the S4."" which in my head meant you liked it up until the s4 version came out then you didnt. and im not hostile im just sick of non contributive ****posting.

*i think itd be cool if they did x
*the dailers not nicest but the music player is cool
its
*Hur Dur TOUCHWIZ sucks
*i agree
*they ruined it
It will be interesting to see how such a light, predominately white, user interface will impact battery life on the S5 with an SAMOLED screen. It would definitely help the pink and purple ghosting that happenings on black backgrounds and low brightness but maybe at the expense of a significant reduction in screen on time per charger cycle. Personally I'm hoping for a return to a dark theme with stock but if the new Nexus 6 also uses AMOLED technology then maybe the impact would be less than expected.
It's baffling how badly Samsung dropped the ball on this one. Android 5.0 could be their opportunity to actually make TW look a lot better with material design, but instead it ended up looking horrendous as always.
I wonder if a S5 GPE is going to come out so we can get GPE roms? Otherwise CM12 it is I suppose.

Because Nexus 9 will be finally out and Nexus 6 is on the way...
So what's the point in complaining about TouchWiz's different looks? Samsung isn't in a position that allows it to make major changes to its interface and/or naming in every release like HTC does. We're talking about millions of people using their devices and they expect their phone to behave the same.
Enviado do meu Galaxy S5
I love the preview, looks awesome. So much so that it made me want an S5 again so I just bought one. Excited for android L!
Does anyone know whether they'll implment a feature similar to the Google dialer with built-in search?

I like both Ideas. I think I will do a Feed with different animations then, not only the kit one.
About the statusbar, don't we have this already? There is the one with the clock and the notification feed. What do you need more?
Thanks for making this thread! Great to see some interest in developing the unique features of our device!

After playing around several hours I have to say, animations are almost impossible to do on an Edge Feed.
As @RuggedHunter stated in his Thread, Feeds are very limited by default. I tried to use a canvas and just draw on it. Unfortunately it looked terrible and very smudgy. Also, Feeds can't update that often it seams. This means you would get a very slow and lagging animation. I don't know if I will get it working properly with all those limitations...

I think you want an Edge Panel. On a Feed you won't see anything ^^
This should be alot easier because it doesn't involve any real rendering.

True, if the goal is to publish on Samsung Store. Maybe consider several small apps instead of one conglomerate app? Publishing individually might give you the opportunity to develop without limits, and only provide widget view feeds to Samsung Store.

Of course I will do multiple apps. It would get a huge mess if I'd put everything together ^^
You can display informations and stuff really easy with it but everything else gets quite complicated. Also there is only a very small documentation about the API so you have to try arround all by yourself :I

[MOD][8.0+][Updated] MIUI 12 Live 'Super' Wallpapers ported to any Android device!

MIUI 12 Live Super Wallpapers ported to any Android device!

After being featured on the XDA-Developers.com portal, today I bring you an update to my well known collection of Super Wallpapers, ported straight from MIUI 12.
Features included with these wallpapers:
Ported straight from MIUI 12. All features available in the original MIUI 12 APKs, with the exception of AOD, are available as well in these.
Adapted to work on AOSP-based ROMs. Thanks to some custom code I wrote, the unlock effects now work on any Android 8.0+ device.
Offers a wide variety of wallpapers to choose from. You can choose from astonishing green sceneries like the ones present in the Forest wallpaper, or submerge yourself in the red abyss of Mars, stopping by North Pole's cold Glaciers. (NEW!) And now with the addition of Saturn, you can check two new beautiful renders of it, one showing its rings in horizontal and the other showing them in vertical.
NEW! Code reworked from the ground-up. With proper help of a VCS tool, all code is now shared among all APKs of each version, making it easier for future updates, and who knows what more surprises to come...
Known limitations we have in mind so far:
AOD wallpapers won't work nor apply on any device, no matter it being Xiaomi or any other brand. This is due to a restriction with these being signed with my own key instead of your device's OEM platform key. If you are interested in including these in your ROM, please contact me and I will gladly assist you on re-enabling AOD features. Please, only contact me if you are a ROM developer.
Versions available:
We currently have the following options available:
A set of three wallpapers, named "Default", "Forest" and "Glacier" in the case of Earth.
A set of three wallpapers, named "Default", "Central Mountains of Hale Crater" (exclusive!) and "Evergreen Garden" (exclusive!)
A set of two wallpapers, named "Vertical" and "Horizontal" in the case of Saturn (exclusive!)
These options come as well in three different variants (except for the Saturn wallpapers):
Default, which behaves just like Xiaomi intended these wallpapers to be, following your system dark theme and your clock to go dark or bright accordingly.
An "Always light/bright version", which is modified in order to make these wallpapers stay bright no matter the time of the day or your current system dark theme status.
An "Always dark version", which is modified in order to make these wallpapers stay dark no matter the time of the day or your current system dark theme status.
This makes 9 wallpapers for each, Mars and Earth, plus 2 variants for Saturn, which makes a total of 20 live Super Wallpapers included.
Want to see how they look like?

Before someone says it, yes, I'm very aware the "Evergreen Garden" wallpaper in both Always Dark and Always Bright versions looks more like an Earth-ish wallpaper rather than a Mars one... But Xiaomi included it inside the Mars Unity assets, so it couldn't be helped. The only thing I did was unhiding it.
As it turns out, that was an issue on my side. The APKs for 'Evergreen Garden' Always Dark and Always Bright versions have just been updated to look the way they should! Enjoy.

As a side note, if you are currently using MIUI 11 and wish to use these wallpapers, please check the post quoted below by @balcis in order to get them fully working, including on your lockscreen!

Before someone says it, yes, I'm very aware the "Evergreen Garden" wallpaper looks more like an Earth-ish wallpaper rather than a Mars one... But Xiaomi included it inside the Mars Unity assets, so it couldn't be helped. The only thing I did was unhiding it. Enjoy!

You cleared before I raise this doubt
Everything works with smooth animations.
Thanks for your contribution
Edit: Mars Default Evergreen gardens & Mars Bright Evergreen gardens looks entirely different. Not talking about the the bright green or dark, the whole picture is different
Hi everyone, thanks for the suggestions, you were right. For some reason the download links weren't working albeit being uploaded correctly to AFH. I've updated the link to the download, it's a MEGA folder so it should be pretty fast. Enjoy!
Looks really cool
I take it I can/must install several of these at once to check out the variations?
Would it be possible to create an APK simply containing everything, or e.g. all Earth or all bright wallpapers?
[Edit]Literally one minute before I posted that you might consider using MEGA, you wrote it yourself [/Edit]
Thank you very much.

As others reported, AndroidFileHost can't find mirrors currently.
Maybe a folder on Mega would be a good alternative to AFH.
Thank you very much.

For now, and given the amount of posibtilies / what pieces of code had been modified, it was only possible if the APKs were completely separated. I get your point, but the fact is I modified blobs which aren't really possible to be switched in runtime... That's why.
In some other news, we made it to the XDA-Develipers.com portal again! Thank you!

Really Thanks for this. Been looking for a good live wallpaper to replace pixel wallpaper i have been using for quite sometime.
Just check why the Super Mars Evergreen Gardens on default folder (first image) is totally different with the one in the always bright folder (second image).
Can we have the always bright version similar to default (first image)?
Awesome work and they look great, but the amount of animations is way over the top. I'm using the static images but a version with only the last animation would be great, is that possible @linuxct?
I'm kinda confused, please excuse me.
How can we get bright Hale Crater, is that even possible or Xiaomi didn't include this asset?
We got it after the update, but the crater app is with Earth icon and it's called Evergreen Gardens and HaleCrater apk isnt hale crater
hope you get what I mean.
Great work, really appreciated. Thank you
I also get the icons to show in my launcher(OnePlus Launcher) probably appearing at other launchers. Is it possible to make them not appear by default(yes I can hide them)?

Yep, I messed up with the blobs, they have just been updated on the download folder too. Now they all look the way they should.

Thanks. I have redownloaded the latest. And it is now exactly same as default.
Sorry, double posted.
Is AOD features something that'll be worked on or is it literally just impossible, either way thank you so much for these!
Damn dude, thank you VERY much for this! Everything looks great, especially the bright ones! Great work as always and i'm assuming, this is all the Super Wallpapers that Xiaomi made for MIUI 12? Nothing left?
I know how they look like, but a GIF of the animations would be great in the first post, so more people would see the preview-s of how they look like, you can just take them from the XDA news article probably:
https://www.xda-developers.com/down...two-new-options-hale-crater-evergreen-garden/
Lockscreen wallpaper doesn't apply. Only homescreen wallpaper applied. Device: k20pro miui11 on android 10.
