Greetings dear XDA Developers.
I have Sm-g610f/ds. I have flashed United Arab Emirates 6.0 ( marshmallow) on this device to downgrade. Because i think 7.0 nought has slow charging.
• After Successfully flashed by ODiN there was brightness problem. Brightness got stuck at maximum.
• Then i flashed Vietnam 6.0 ( marshmallow) Stock flash file. But the problem was same brightness stuck at maximum.
• when i update from Settings, UAE flash file 6.0 ( marshmallow) to nought everything was fine.
• After this i Flashed Vietnam marshmallow. Brightness problem found. But after updating to nought everything is fine.
•I want to know that how could i know that which one file is the original Marshmallow File for my phone.
I'm from Pakistan but this mobile wasn't released in my country. I don't know which country it belong.
• I want to root my Device
• i wanna use Marshmallow.
Can you please help me. I have spent many hours on YouTube.
I also Tried Unofficial TWRP For my Device but It was Showing Zero Storage.

I don't think there is nougat for our C900 devices. Best way now is to just debrand to maybe a C636 and update to nougat from there. If not I heard the update is coming to our devices by April.

I think there's a thread in the ROM section somewhere. You just gotta look for it. Basically you have to unlock bootloader, root, debrand, flash new firmware, request for update via hisuite to nougat.
How to update please tell me guys

Change firmware of NMO-L31 to NEM-L22?

I am using Huawei GT3 NMO-L31C185 which is the middle east variant of the Honor 5C. Since both the devices are practically the same hardware, I was wondering if it was possible to install the firmware of the indian variant (NEM-L22) on the NMO-L31. The reason I want indian firmware is the VoLTE support not present on the firmware I am currently using. I live in India and while I can use the Jio4G app to make calls, it is very laggy and drains much battery on EMUI5.0 (since you need to keep location services on for Jio4G app to work now). Please let me know if it is possible to flash stock ROM of NEM-L22 over this firmware. I checked in formware finder and it says that firmware(of the NEM-L22) is approved for installation on my device when I checked firmware access with IMEI, but says not approved for installation when checked access without IMEI. I'm kinda confused now
Hi, I'm fairly sure it's possible as I am using a Chinese variant in the UK. I think there are a couple of values in build.prop that need changing then you can flash via dload. I think I've seen a thread on this before so I'll have a look.

Hi, as far as I'm aware, LTE calling hasn't been enabled yet. As for bluetooth, I have no idea. Was it an official rom?
You need oeminfo and custom.bim for new region.
Alway have a full backup for your model in twrp before attempting such things. It may badly mess up anytime

the one method works only once because after updating to the oreo it is not possible to do it again because the bootloader changes and the HWOTA method is not recognized anymore because TWRP does not install next time and therefore can not update more

C33, C636 are different variants of the device. I rebranded my L29C185 (a Middle East international version) to the L29C636 (Asian international version).
L09 is the single sim version of mate 9 I believe, I don't know what region c316 is though. Maybe someone on here can tell you, or have a Google.
I use Firmware Finder from the play store to check updates. Might be worth looking on there.
Hi all, tried the hwota method and it gets stuck on "After device enter TWRP, connect to USB cable. Press ENTER key to continue...". My Mate is in TWRP, but it is not recognized as USB device in Windows 10. Cold that be the issue? How to fix it - I have installed adb-setup-1.4.3.

Honor 9 Lite LLD-L21 Latest OTA and Full-OTA UPDATES: Leland-L21A 8.0.0.126(C636)

Hello dear Honor 9 Lite users, greetings from Indonesia.
I am curious, are there any Honor 9 Lite LLD-L21 users here? I've seen several posts with L31 and AL01 series of this phone.
I have been bothered with my stucked-at-boot phone. After shutting it down, I was just going to power it on. And it was stucked at eRecovery, telling me to download the firmware and recovery (stock). I thought that it was bad, because I have to flash stock ROM. And guess what, the eRecovery can't download it for my phone, although WiFi are connected to it.
After searching here and there in the net, I got the link to the latest OTA update for this phone. By posting here, I thought it might help someone reviving the phone.
