ZTE Axon Elite [ROMS]

Hello in this thread please post ROMs to Axon Elite [not PRO!]. It's hard to find any custom or stock rom on XDA and on internet so let's make some work and put every found rom here. Link are allowed :good:

I only find 1 rom Thailand on Google for this device

If someone dare to try, here's CM13 for chinese Axon Elite (version A2015). Based on the change log it should have multiple languages:

I can´t test this out though, will get my Axon Elite someday this week. Anyways, good to know there is already Cyanogenmod 13 for it :highfive:

Good question... I tried official chinese A2015 Marshmallow (B09_M) on my A2016 and the radio didn't work so there were no signal. I have no TWRP so I can't test this.

Maybe the developer of this ROM is willing to start a project at cyanogenmod.org so we're able to reconcile chinese and non-chinese versions of the elite.

Radio is another term for modem/baseband, it comes with a firmware and is used to control cellular network and wifi. So if it doesn't work then you are not able to make calls and so.

I have a problem. When someone call me, in some cases I don't recive the call. I have B06 update. Any solution?

It' is a strange problem. It happened to me with B03 version due to that rom had several bugs but B06 works perfectly. If I were in your shoes, I would install the B02 version and then, I would download by OTA the B06. But if you have rooted your phone, making a clean installation with full wipes, it should work properly.

You can install B06 stock rom from Twrp. It's a zip file

But first, remember to extract the file for installing from the the first zip you download [emoji6]

Of course, if you want to have your phone rooted, you have to install TWRP and Supersu, before rebooting. Otherwise, you will lose the root and you will have installed stock rom and stock recovery.

Why does the marshmallow software for axon pro not work on this since the only difference is the fp sensor?

None of the links I find on the internet works, direct downloads from myzte.cn & ztedevice.com redirect to ZTE corporation home page and cloud uploads expired.

Unfortunatly I cannot help, but you may check my guide if you want to do a factory reset and have a clean & working installation afterwards.

New rom availble

Hi, i found this rom for honor 6x, and flashed it using instructions, it kinda works, bcuse i havent formtted data etc, i;m too lazy to do this
You can try it by yourself, as you may remember honor 6x emui roms work on p8l2017, ex, K-rom v2 works on our devices

How are they working for you? Is it better than EMUI for our device? I'm not sure if the optimizations are there..also, everything works? I want an AOSP-based ROM..

Anybody got dual-boot to work? It might be a tight fit in there with our internal memory, but it sure would be great to run EMUI and AOSP

Upgrade to Android Pie 9 beta rom now W/O unlocking bootloader

IMPORTANT: First,you have to update to latest oreo beta rom first. Then updater app will ask to update to pie.
Yeah, you saw that right. we can upgrade to Android 9 pie right now but it's beta version. Although there is no problem I'm facing using it as a daily driver.
And i have locked bootloader.
Although,there is a catch. You might not able to rollback to stable version before Xiaomi release stable pie version because of ARB policy.
Here is the process:
First you must be updated to latest stable version.
Now follow the link below and download the latest Oreo 8.1 beta Recovery rom file:
https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/sakura/
Its important to chose right version between them, or else, it's not going to work.
Now open update from settings, tap on miui10 logo 10 times. You should see more options on three dot menu up right.
Select "Choose Update Package" and select the rom file and install that.
Note: Your all data will be wiped
After successful install, check for update and you should get latest PIE update.
Update it and you are done!
Note: You can't install pie rom directly from stable as Android version is different.
Enjoy latest Android pie in you awesome Redmi 6 Pro until it's stable version released. After release,you can change to stable pie by following same process. You'll get regular update in beta rom as beta rom releases weekly.

What about battery and performance. Same as miui 9 or better ?

Sorry bro doesn't work at all. You can only do it by fastboot.

That is not latest versions now as they get updated weekly.
Follow this link and download developer rom and install from updater app

I dont understand miui versions.
In miui 10.2.4 is oreo 8
In miui 9 is pie 9.
Why ?

I meaning this : lower miui version have pie.

Bro it shows to flash by fastboot because android version is different from that of recovery package.

I see. Maybe they don't allow to flash oreo beta build as it's way too old now.
Nothing to do if you don't unlock then.

Here is the latest version running now.
And it's much stable and better than before.

Beta rom build number is given this way by xiaomi..
Like 9.3.21 means
9 for 2019
3 for march &
21 is the release date.

It is not lower version it is developer version and they named it as their work

Any ROM MIUI 10 Android 9 to install using TWRP?

Camera bug in xiaomi mi a2 converted to mi 6X

The camera suffers an overexposure of light and then it gets dark and I have tried the method of switching to whyred and it remains the same.

Miui 11 is very good in 6X-A2
I think this is better forever and I don't want to come back to android one

change the recovery ..download another custom recovery ..then also format data and wipe everything ..reboot to recovery & install rom ..make sure to download a rom for wayne and not one for jasmine
