sms chat & mms messages problem

Hello all,
I just installed the trial of sms chat onto my tytn-II and whilst it has worked ok for sms I have today hit a problem with an incoming mms message.
I also have the ifonz theme installed so all I am getting is 1 showing next to the task and email icons on the front screen and when I go into sms chat there is a blank mesaage, in normal messaging there is nothing showing but there was the incoming mms signal at the top that you get when an mms is on it's way if that makes sense?
I have tried rebooting the phone and uninstalling sms chat to no avail, the incoming message icon is now gone but the number one is still showing against the icons on the front screen . Anybody seen this before? and is there any way to clear those icons as that is going to drive me mad!
Also sms chat is a bit ugly, I tried pocketcm but did not like the integration with contacts, the other 2 options I have seen are the palm one but I am unsure of the bugs with that and whether it will work 100% or the wm6.1 one which I am assuming will not work on wm6?
Thanks

Kaiser MMS not showing name

I have a Kaiser w/Win Mobile 6.1 norwegian.
In the "conversation with" pane in sms/mms i have a problem:
as long as I stick to sms it will show the names of ppl I sms with, but if I recieve a mms it will not show the name of the contact I got the mms from, it will only display the number. this is also the case if I send an mms to one of my contacts.
anyone got a solution for this?

hi,
Did you try with Shap's Advanced Configuration Tool
http://julien.schapman.free.fr/touchxperience/advanced-configuration-tool.php
to see how many digits are set for "contact" recognition ?
i had that worry with sms and incoming calls
because they are "shown" +33612345678 (in france(+33)for mobiles 06+8digits)
and in my pim they were registred in a 10 digits format 0612345678
(or (06) 12 34 56 78) or else in a 12's one +33612345678,
i tried many times and found that the good setting was "9" digits in Shap's Advanced Configuration Tool.
regards
not working
Hi there,
thanks for the suggestion, nice tool. but it did not help with my problem
This is a known isssue with Windows Mobile 6.1...There is no fix that I'am aware of for this.

No ringtone, buzzer or notification when I get text message

Hello all, I have a strange problem. When I get SMS or Email, I can only notice that when I look on my phone to see if there is new text message. I dont get ringtone, no buzzer and no notification on the screen that I have a new message. Where do I have to look? The settings on 'sound and notifications' are fine. Can someone help me with this?
I have stock rom of vodafone.
p.s. sorry guys, I see there is a kind of same topic already opened. Maybe I install a program which conflicts this, but its really strange.

Dates & times (like "monday" or "tomorrow") will be underlinded in text messages

Dates & times (like "monday" or "tomorrow") will be underlinded in text messages
Hello everyone,
When i open a text message from someone on my Hauwei P9 Lite and there is a date or even just a hint of a date ("monday" or "mon" or "tomorrow"), it will get underlined in blue like a hyperlink. This is to let me "easily" create a new appointment in my calendar. This also happens when I create a new note.
But I don't like that. It will just make the text unreadable for me and it is distracting. I don't use the stock agenda, so I don't need this suggestion of dates.. Is there any way to turn this option off?
I don't know if it is an android 7 problem, or an Hauwei P9 Lite problem, but it is frustrating as hell.
Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks!

I don't think that there's a option for that. But you could try to use for example the official google messaging app and see if there the date isn't underlined.
