[osprey][miui-7][alpha][5.1.1]

Hello there!
As you all know MIUI is a highly customizable ROM with an eye pleasing UI. I am here very happy to present for you the new MIUI 7 ROM for your OSPREY. I tried to make it boot. but even then lots of bugs may have crept in. So, I request the users to report the bugs here and help me in fixing them as I don't own this device and I will try to solve that in the next build.
Features

All MIUI 7 features including Notification Light settings, more Camera features like image filters, face detection, age & gender etc.

Since it is itself a Alpha Port, it may have such bugs whiich can't be easily solved!
Finally there's a possibility for the eye-popping MIUI for Moto G 2015-osprey..
So Testers time to download rom and test it...If possible try fixing Bugs

How to Install
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Download the MIUI ROM
Reboot into TWRP Recovery
Wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache from Advanced Wipe menu
Flash the MIUI ROM
Then reboot your phone. The first boot may take up to 15~20 minutes and then u will be in setup wizard

Some tips for your MIUI v7 ROM

Turn off sync when not required since it drains much battery.

Auto brightness is calibrated somewhat low so increase the brightness slider according to your preference.

Give Autostart permissions to Kernel Adiutor and Color Control (if you are using it)

It is pure MIUI so be careful while you flash anything or edit the build.prop

Never update through OTA even if it shows available update since the update is meant only for redmi 2 prime device. Disable auto update in Updater app. Downloading and installing an OTA update will BRICK your phone.

this is not based on miui patchrom it is a port and based on lollipop stockrom

miui on moto g 3rd generation
brother, installed here does not take long, however nothing works! has as not enter the settings, the sim card does not work nothing works! but it was the intention.
I look forward to improvements to try to install again. :Boa:

Then do better... 1st of all you should be happy to be able to use MIUI for FREE on your osprey, 2nd the "trash" that you flashed probably took loads of time from the developer's part and still is on ALPHA stage, and this kind of comment that you just puked doesn't help or motivate the developer on improving the ROM. Just GTFO and grow up you self centered ****.

which is the best rom with jio support and everything else working

I want to install any version of android for a smooth and stable experience but not any aosp rom as in all the aosp roms (any android version) there is a major bug in my phone ie the sd card doesnt gets detected.

I've never seen any AOSP ROM for a7000 that has problem in detecting SD card. SD card works in androium 7, dareaosp, swift AOSP, pixel ui, AOSP N.
However, if you want a ROM with smooth experience, and working Jio, I will recommend my "Swift AOSP" first, and "PAC ROM" by @aswinp222 the next.

I guess it's because of this error:-
Running boot script
/sbin/postrecoveryboot.sh ended with error 1
Which is present above everytime I flash something and while flashing some roms when I wipe all the 4 things, "unable to mount" this error comes as last line.

After flashing swift aosp ROM I'm stuck in the connecting to server

You're a unique chap.
Swift aosp has no support now. I won't tell you how to fix it, but answer can be found in the thread itself. Don't take me as rude, it's just that i only support ghost aosp rom, instead of swift.
Your answer might even be in installation instructions

cyanogen 13 build old version rom. Its probably the best rom and the most stable rom for lenovo a7000 ever. I still have it in my drive and i use it too. It has 0 bugs and works like charm

AOSP EXTENDED ROM is best ever all most all bug fixed in it and smooth UI experience and best battery back up and I am currently using it and there is no problem facing with SD card, it is working like a charm

Youtube doesn’t work. Offline charging doesn’t work. Hw decoder doesn’t work.
Obviously a bad experience for video fans.

YouTube is working (720p) and I think all nougat based ROM's (RR, AOSP) doesn't support offline charging and as much as I concern this the only ROM (nougat based) with maximum bug fixed.

If Youtube is working for you, then you must be using the old unofficial build. Latest official aospex has Youtube black screen bug.
And yeah... This is the most stable COMPILED nougat rom...

Please attach a screenshot of youtube working and your current rom build in settings/about phone.
It is impossible for youtube to work for you. And btw rohan and me are in the same team so we all know what is broken and what isn’t. The youtube bug will remain there because it uses hardware acceleration (hw decoder). The <application> tag in youtube’s android manifest has a “hardwareAccelearation=”true””.
Which means that youtube never uses anything other than the hw decoder. I tried setting that value to false but I got fc then. :crying:
I think this is a serious discussion. It is time to tag @Rohan Taneja

I think I flashed the official build v4.1 using dirty flash on unofficial build, so i think that's the reason for YouTube to be working

[ROM] [7.1.2] [18-MAY-2017] [aio_row] LineageOS 14.1 [MONTHLY] works good with jio ..
use youtube go app..it works fine

Well , this version get benefits of my own job for Honor 7, and should provide better experience.
- fixed switch LTE/3G/2G using HwHisiRil
- Lineage root support (do not try magisk etc..)
- A better battery life (i expect)
Changes are at framework/settings/telephony/ramdisk .. (i forget )
When i do a rom for myself i always work with Aroma to customize my install as i want.
So you will have a "Lineage system only" and many options to flash.
- this one is a first shot and for testers !!! why ??
=> i do not own a P8, so i can't test some things witch are not compatible with my H7 .. (list below)
- you want to help ?? OK
=> test camera lineage (not video record it DON'T WORK !!!)
=> test others cameras (Xtra in Aroma)
=> test Wifi and Bluetooth
=> test install with and without Xposed (don't need to flash system to change)
=> test what ever you need to work
Newbees : please do not ask for how to do this or that ...

All OK, I solved All ok. Wonderful rom. I solved with a cache wipe

What are the difference to other lineage release ?
Same overheating?
Same battery drain ?
I'm back to stock because of the overheating problems and charging my phone mult. Times a day.

I had played Monkey City but it's slower than LineageOS 13 20170417 with totally same apps installed ,and yeah… overheating,so I had reversed to 0417

I think it would be better just bring up a stable base (in this example LineageOS since most roms base on it) and work on other roms if this base is fully stable
Blame me for that, but from a developer perspective it makes no sense building thousands of roms with the same buggy base.
I dont want to say that @Verevka does not a good job, his work is good! But please stop cry for other roms and help the developers when they need help.

Anybody on this can share the bugs?

Just flashed AICP12.1 Beta 4, I can enable navbar but the touch button cannot be disabled, is it due to the home button with fingerprint on it?
I flashed this ResurrectionRemix and found navbar worked and capacitive keys is disabled with fingerprint working.

It has the language options, but not really multilanguage since must of system apps jsut have EN-US strings...

The keyboard bug is still there.. you have to uninstalled it....
The flashlight works 7/10
Camera don't support 120fps works... On manual mode the exposure iso shudder speed don't work perfectly....
The exposed pre install...don't work 5/10
Substrarum front changer don't work.. and when you apply theme phone lag time during time...

Everything working great till now. Flashlight works 100%. Camera works 10/10 using footej. Keyboard bug is there. tried with different apps but sometimes it won't show up while typing. Also i want to ask why it shows 1.40Ghz instead of 1.80Ghz? 4 cores are stopped every time.
