Hi guys, wonder can the Google Search bar to be disable at the N7P home screen? Or i need to use launcher to disable it?

can any1 tell me how I can remove the google search bar? I try to kill the process but i cant use the space (like by my Nexus)

An alternative Launcher removes the bar
thats the only way i know so far...
removing is possible (dunno find the video on the tube now), but it is already possible.
the problem is that the free space is left unused/unusable....
Launcher is not a option cuz I will use the new Optimus UI with all features.

Just stop & deactivate the Google Search process in Settings >> Application (App Manager)
I don't remember seeing the animation/graphic when starting Google Now before the upgrade to Kitkat yesterday (AT&T), but now there is a graphic. Is there any way to add additional options to this gesture? I.e., can I use the same gesture and have a "Chrome" or "Hangouts" bubble in addition to the "Google" bubble available?
The other question I have is if it is possible to turn off the lock screen when security hasn't kicked in yet?
As a follow-up, the closest I could find is the "Google Now Swipe Disabler" app where you can either disable or hijack the gesture to run something else. Unfortunately, I use GN, so I don't want to replace it but add to it.

I deactivated Google assistant and ok google, but I can't figure out how to deactivate the gesture shortcut to google assistant, e.g. swiping up from the bottom screen corner..
Does anyone know how to achieve this?

I have Nova Launcher, So I installed FNG (Fluid Navigation Gestures) to get the gestures, But Im unable to hide the Navigation bar now.
Any ideas ?
Alright, Figured the answer.
Go to settings, Search for gestures and enable it.
This works till a device reboot.

dear all,
on my another phone which is l2 with android 7 there is an option to set in the camera settings to remove the icon at the lock screen.
on xz3, i didn't find any. search result from search engine also not related because there is no such menu in this phone.
any idea? anyone know where or it is by-design and it should be there forever?
