[Design Resources] Android ICS/JB GUI Design Kit and Action Bar Icon Design Template

Hi all,
Just to share some app design resources for any designer/developer using Adobe Photoshop for mock up/prototyping purpose.
Android ICS/JB Photoshop GUI Design Kit
The main motivation of doing this is just to provide some stock elements of Android 4.0+ (Ice Cream Sandwich/Jelly Bean) in a single .psd file so app designer can really focus on creating awesome mock up to show their developers/clients. Some of the elements (very minor though) are just single layer of image, but they should be pretty adequate for quick mock up purpose.
In 3.0, I have included two .psd file in the Design Kit – Building Blocks and ADT.
In Building Blocks, it contains most, if not all of the stock ICS/JB UI elements that can be used to build an app mockup in Photoshop. Most of them covered both Holo Light and Holo Dark themes, so you can easily drag and drop the properly grouped UI elements to your app design.
As for the ADT (not to be confused with the Android Development Tools which is a plugin for the Eclipse IDE), it serves as a starting point for the app designers/developers of the app design. You have the choice to select the design template that start with different amount of tabs and holo theme, and the design in Photoshop starts from there.

Action Bar Icon Design Photoshop Template
Action Bar Icon Design Photoshop Template is made for Android App Designers/Developers in designing and generating Action Bar Icon in different dpi. While there is already an awesome online Action Bar and Tab Icon Generator in Android Asset Studio, Action Bar Icon Design Photoshop Template goes a little bit further – It can preview your designed Action Bar icon in properly sized Action Bar (which is customizable), and it can be used offline.

4. 4 x 3 widget with 2 hotspots ( calendar and a weather app of your choice. NOTE: This widget overlaps widget #3 and #5.
5. 4 x 2 widget with 5 hotspots ( battery app of your choice, Google music, Dropbox, camera/gallery and Google maps ).
VERY IMPORTANT!
IN ORDER TO MAKE THE LAST 2 WIDGETS WORK, APPLY WIDGET 4 THEN SHRINK IT TO ALLOW SETTING FOR WIDGET 5 THEN STRETCH IT AND OVERLAP WIDGET 3 AND 5.

4. BK's 5x2 Ring Widget with 8 hotspots = Facebook, Google Search, Gmail, Google Music / Camera and Gallery / Phone and Contacts / Browser and Messaging.
5. BK's 5x1 App Drawer and Battery Widget.
To get the app drawer icon to work with the app drawer do this:
Shrink your icon to the right leaving a space to place the app drawer shortcut on the left bottom corner of your screen then stretch your widget towards the left overlapping the app drawer icon shortcut. When done long press on your UCCW widget , you will see a pop up / choose send to back and you will have a working app drawer when pressing on the UCCW app drawer icon.
Note: make sure overlapping widgets is selected in Apex Launcher Settings / Advance Settings.

Unthemed Icons
If you find any icon left unthemed, please try changing it dynamically (long press-->Edit). Check out the Miscellaneous Section of the Icon Picker or Send a request for that Particular Icon , If Needed.
The Icon Picker has been Bifurcated appropriately for your convenience. The IconBack on the other hand, being a blend of black and white, suits every unthemed icon as well.

New theme for EMUI 5/8 devices, some features are ported to the EMUI 4 variant (ONLY: icon pack and Night Blue Whatsapp color).

The EMUI 5 version of this theme offers:
+ Material icons picked from three different icon packs
+ Material notification bar icons and material settings icons
+ Dark UI from Dark Mode PRO Theme (on Themes Factory)
+ Custom drawer icon, I replaced the horrible stock one
+ S8 navigation bar style
+ Whatsapp UI: New color for the bar on the top of the screen (Material Blue from Twitter Mobile's Night Mode), you can choose to download the "Stock Whatsapp" variant in the subfolder if you don't like this custom color.

Can you make the QS background the same colour as the notification background? It looks inconsistent with the rest of the theme.

You mean the gray background of the notification panel? I like the way it is now, but I think that I can make another version with a fixed background

Sorry for the super-duper late reply.
You can do that by moving the hwt file in Internal Memory > HWThemes (folder)
On EMUI 8 it goes in Huawei > Themes
