Lags when stereo+ is enabled - Huawei P20 Pro Questions & Answers

Does anyone else have this issue? My phone was lagging when playing media, I especially noticed it when playing YouTube videos. The lower the tone, the bigger the lag. For example, when playing gaming videos and someone crashed a car, or when listening to music it lagged on every bass kick.
Once I turned off Stereo+ today, it stopped doing that.
I'm fine without stereo+ so far, but has anyone else this issue?

Problems playing YouTube and other online videos

I just bought the ATT nexus one and I am new to android. My problem is that sometimes when I play YouTube videos it will play only the sound and it will show a frozen screen, however the sound will still play. Then I have to force close the video stream.
Whats weird is that this doesnt happen all the time... other times it works perfectly. This problem isnt just YouTube its any video online that the browser can play. The only thing that I found to rectify this problem is turning off my phone then rebooting. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
My problem is watching online videos such as youtube or other videos is that there almost unwatchable.. The sound doesnt sync with the faces and the whole experience makes me feel very not entertained... Actually watching youtube videos is ok, its watching other videos online that lead the bad taste in my mouth. Anyway to improve the video experience?
Is it brand new stock nexus or do you have a different rom? I had an older MoDaCo Sense rom and I had those exact issues, but when I switched to enMothers Rom, havn't had an issues since.
It is a brand new stock rom. I have not rooted it or anything. Just the normal app downloads from the market place. Its only about 2 weeks old.

Is Megavideo laggy for anyone, or is it just me?

Hello. I recently installed Froyo and subsequently the Flash 10.1 beta on my N1. I was really looking forward to watching tv shows on megavideo, but it seems like just about all the videos I try have horrible audio sync problems. Also, there is a weird crackling sound in the audio. The video plays nice and smooth, its just the audio that lags. So, does anyone else have this issue? Any ideas for a fix? I'm thinking it might just be because flash isn't hardware accelerated yet, but most of the other video sites I try work just fine! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I've had the same problems! Sometimes it lags, and sometimes it doesn't.. I'm actually quite upset with the performance of Flash, sometimes its perfect.. and other times its simply hell. I hope it is perfect when the final is released..
Yep that's been my experience as well. I've been pretty pleased about the game performance (except I wish Plants vs Zombies would work!!), but video has been hit or miss. I hope they fix it when they turn on the hardware acceleration. Being able to watch all the videos of the web on my phone has been a dream of mine for years...
there's a new application, which DOES NOT require flash player, that is capable of downloading and streaming any megavideo video.. you can find it here:

please, let me know your feedback!

[Q] video playback issues

Is it just me or is everyone having problems playing videos? I have problems playing youtube videos weather it be on wifi or 3G the videos kinda delayed or something to that effect. The status bar moves but the video blacks out. Like no matter what ROM I'm on the problem always happens. Same thing goes with playing videos from the browser. How do I fix this?

Nexus 6 Video Playback Lag

Hi all, I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this as well as any possible suggestions. I have noticed when watching videos I have recorded on my phone via ANY camera app produce fine videos. When I attempt to watch them, however, there is noticeable stuttering and lag where the video does not completely freeze at all but looks almost slightly jumpy. I have uploaded a few of the videos to YouTube and noticed when watching those there is no stuttering. I have not had the chance to try Playback via PC. Does anyone else notice this? Is the phone just lagging playing the natively recorded video files back? I'm only doing 1080p btw, not 4K. Thanks!

mine plays back my 4K recorded videos just fine(of course its not in 4K on the phone when watching)..
Bump! I have this same issue. I thought it was my video recording choppy, but now that I checked on another device I see it's a playback problem. I'm on 5.1.1 T-Mobile Motorola phone.
Anyone? I still have this problem, which is only playback related. If I can give MX player to play the videos things are fine, but somehow Photos eventually takes neck default control and its a pain in my ass!

Youtube video playback Stuttering

Hello guyz,
Has anyone else noticed small occasional stuttering while playing back 1080p+ Youtube videos? Like randomly its stuck in a frame for 0.3 second every few seconds and then resumes normaly. I am not talking about HDR which stutters a lot and is a known issue. I tried clearing app's cache+data but the issue remains.
Same here. Looks like YouTube needs to update app and optimise it.
That 1440p Costa Rica video on YouTube doesn't play very smoothly on mine.
