docking station

hi everyone there some one who can show me a good docking station, maybe with the slot for the charging of a second battery? ?

i dont know where u from but i've bought this one on amazon.de
and i'm really satisfied with it.
it's solid and the HD2 fits in perfect, but it has no slot to load a second
battery

Sorry for being link-lazy, but http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/ have a good selection of HD2 equipment, and I have had good experience with them.
(However ignore the 'magic slip mat' which claims to hold your phone through stickiness. It works well with some phones but not with our beloved

That URL is for an HTC Desire...

This one is even with sound. But I don't have it yet and there could be a problem with the US t-mobile HD2.

For those people who want to plug in headphones to listen to music on their phone. However, I saw this charger a number of months ago, and I remember people who purchased it were complaining that they weren't getting stereo sound from attached headphones, but Mono.
And, to boot, the ad states plainly "This cradle will not fit T-Mobile HD2 phone." This is most likely because the US and European versions of the HD2 are not exactly the same size. Luckily, there's a 30 day money back guarantee...

There's the "HTC 7 Mozart Cradle" (h**p://mrgadget.com.au/catalog/mrgadget-htc-mozart-cradle-p-8906.html) from "Mr.Gadget" (Australian store), however note the little cable which needs to be plugged in to the side, due to the location of the USB port.

i think ill mount some like this next to my desk, since ill have to manualy plug in the cable anyway

Hi all
I would love to get a night clock stand that the phone could rest in in landscape orientation and charge the device. It would make use of the many "night clock" apps in the market place.

Would love that too, just wondering if horizontal dock for DesireZ could be used, since it also has the usb port on the side and the battery should be the same as well, which is BA S450.

Check eBay, it comes up with a few good docks, sadly most of them are from china which would take hell of a long time to reach your house .

I'm kinda meh about all those. Even the dock, with no HDMI or some other connectors I don't see the point to it.

I'm unhappy with the cases out now and if this case is slim enough and has magnet lock and close and some sort of stand mechanism, I'd pay 50ish bucks for it. The cases out now are pretty good for their ten dollar price tags but I want something nicer.

It's called business strategy. No HDMI out on the device or the dock means you have to by the Q. Stupid, yeah, but business wise, that's how the game works. Why put in HDMI when we can charge them $300 to stream everything?
I would love to purchase the Q, but I just spent $200 on this tablet. I bought it because I wanted something cheap yet good (which I got). The only way i'll get the Q is if someone else buys it for me (HA!) or I win it in a competition (....HAHAHAHA! Yeah, right, I NEVER win anything, lol).
But yeah, so there's your business reason for no HDMI.

POGO wouldn't support HDMI anyway, not enough pins... besides the whole point of not having HDMI is that you will be able to do it wirelessly.
Should start seeing this very soon using WiFi direct and the Miracast protocols. The hardware is already there to do it in the Nexus 7

Has anybody found a *tiny* USB-C OTG adapter?

With my Note 4, I could keep a tiny OTG adapter (pictured in the link below) in my wallet to give access to USB devices...

Perhaps not as tiny but the Note 8 comes with an OTG adapter used for transferring data from an older phone to a new one.

Yeah, I know - I was really wondering why there aren't any OTG adapters in the nano flat style. That's what I'm really after.

Well, there is another but the listing just seems a little dodgy - Clicky

I bought a usb 2.0 to C OTG adapter which did not work at all, and a 3.1 A to C which does so that may need to be a consideration beyond just the physical size.

I would have gone with the second one if the picture had actually been of a USB-C interface, rather than Micro USB.
If it can't fit in my wallet, then attaching it to my key-ring (with minimal size/bulk) is a reasonable alternative.

I keep both of these in my wallet. Type C to micro USB and a micro USB OTG adaptor.
Got them from Gearbest and/or Banggood.

How to know if a device or phone support hdmi output through usb c? Is there any way to know it?

It does say it had hdcp tho, weird if it doesn't support hdmi when hdcp is a hdmi protocol?

Dissapointigly reading the spec sheet in gsma I find it usb in our phone is 2.1 which is faarrrrr from the so much more convenient 3.1 of today..

I bought one from marktplaats, a Dutch platform where you can buy used products. I use a HP traveldock. It is sadly very bad, as it mirrors your screen and it has an awfull screen ratio. You will have really big black bars on your monitor, giant! Sorry for my late response, but I hope I helped
