Guide to run Pubg mobile at 60fps - Moto G5 Plus Themes, Apps, and Mods

Update:
Gfx tool is back in playstore and it works very nice, solid 60fps for me. I still lost but hey, second is enough to smell the chicken dinner.?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.tsoml.gfxtool
Recommended settings based on experience so far;
Resolution: 1280x720
Graphics: so smooth
Fps: 60fps Moto v1 (not tried V2 yet)
Shadows disabled (doesn't look as bad as it sounds)

Thanks for the file. Shouldn't the config file have .ini extension ?

Yes, as I said, rename it to ini first. XDA does not allow upload of ini.

Works fine for me. I have CPU monitor running and shows only 39 °c. I am using stock ROM by the way. The custom ROMs are not good for high graphic games, always lag and over heat.
I don't think the game is optimised yet for our device, but as I said, use smooth with 60fps and you will get less lag than default settings..
Edit: I just played game at 60fps on smooth, while recording and still did not go over 38°c

Thead update, you can now use the gfx tool that is back in playstore, check first post for link.

Why cant Xperia play iPhone formatted videos smoothly?

The Xperia has a faster processor yet it cannot run iPhone formatted videos at 640x480 - i have followed all the tweak tutorials and even tried copying the videos onto my Xperias onboard memory yet i still cannot run them smoothly even in Windows Media play which is hardware accelerated!
Does the iPhone have a better GPU or something?

30fps is overkill and odds are it is the main cause for the slowdown also you'd want to use 128k for the audio.. you're much better off just using this.. quick easy, batch encoding everything you could want and more. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467112
edit: haha the post above me beat me by seconds. but yeah use that program instead.

I'll try that converter has i have before but i always get some annoying error when trying to encode the audio - i will try again and then also change fps to 25 - Super has some problems too when using a low audio codec so i had to put it higher but i'll test and see what happens:
The quality wasnt very good to be honest it wasnt very sharp and a little pixelated a times i used these settings:
SD INPUT - VGA:640x480
i am gunna test using these settings on super:

[MOD] High bitrate video recording + [email protected](cm7)

Some ppl. were asking for a high bitrate mod. This only works for the CM7 roms.
Does not work for stock rom as bitrate is hardcoded into the LG camera app. (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090785 for somemadcaaant's awesome work on that)
Choose the 720p only mod if you are running a kernel with the 64mb ram hack (it doesn't support 1080p). The 720p only will of course also work for the std. cm7 kernel.
Bitrate(orig)-signed.zip will bring you back to the settings that's on the cm7 nightly repo.
Reinstall the vork kernel if you want to go back to orig settings for 64mb hack.
I've added two pictures to compare 7 mbit/s vs 20 mbit/s (720p). I think esp. the trees look better. Is it worth the extra space? Dunno.
I leave all the different versions here, so ppl can choose whatever they want. Of course, the higher the bitrate the harder everything is being pushed, so your results may vary (esp. depending on sdcard speed). Phone playback may also be an issue. It's impossible to break anything permanently, so just install back to original settings if you run into issues.
For the different mods, the settings are
--------------- BitrateMod1.1-signed.zip-----------
HD: [email protected] and 17mbit/s
High: [email protected] and 14mbit/s.
-------------------------------------------------------
--------------- BitrateMod-signed.zip---------------
HD: [email protected] and 12mbit/s
High: [email protected] and 20mbit/s.
-------------------------------------------------------
----- BitrateMod(720p only)1.1-signed.zip--------

High: [email protected] and 10mbit/s.
-------------------------------------------------------
-------- BitrateMod(720p only)-signed.zip--------

High: [email protected] and 20mbit/s.
-------------------------------------------------------
------------ Bitrate(orig)-signed.zip ---------------
HD: [email protected] and 6-7mbit/s
High: [email protected] and 4mbit/s.
-------------------------------------------------------
------------ Std. vork kernel settings--------------

;--------------- BitrateMod_MAX.zip----------------

Still:
Super fine: 100 (old value was 90)

All audio is 128 kbps aac.
This is good news and very welcomed
However, simple question: Why the limit @ 15fps over 1080p? Hardware limitation of the Tegra 2 chipset (highly doubt it) or what?
Wow awesome!
This is what we need, higher bit rate in camera and video, as above how come 1080p is capped at 15fps? shouldnt it be 24fps?
Lets start modding the camera hardcore to get the best quality!

Whatever setting I use for the framerate on 1080p, it either crashes or falls back to 15fps. Of course we do know it can do 25fps on stock rom so it has to be cm7 related (kernel drivers or whatever). That's at 9mbit/s on stock, though.
12 mbit/s is, btw, also the highest bitrate i could get for 1080p.
EDIT: Oh, btw. it might not be a good idea to use this together with the 64mb extra ram hack.
I only get black screen when flashing this.

Yea, all the mod does is replace the media_profiles.xml file. You can just extract the zip to see what's different. You have to play around with the settings a little bit. If you do something wrong it's very likely it'll get stuck at boot. Use adb or cwm to restore media_profiles.xml to orig.
The resolution for 1080p has to be 1920x1088 to work. Std. cm7 sets it to 1920x1080 and therefore only records in 720p.

Great job LeJay!
I've flashed away from CM7 atm, runniong an MCR ROM instead. Will certainly test this once I'm back to CM7. I hope the dev of CM7 for O2X can by pass all limitations and truly unlock the power of this device.
Media capabilities (Korea ROM 10S got MKV, 4.1 profile support), [email protected] (AT LEAST!) etc... Only time will tell if they're able to.
Would love to have LG camera on cm7. Is this possible?
I was trying to change the settings inside the JAVA files of the LG Camera app, which are in HEX format for me.
I recalculated all the values in DEC, doubled them and reconverted them to HEX but didn't seem to work.
My highest recording was 10500 which I'm sure is just random from 9000 to 10500 with the normal settings.
if you do a text search for bitrate in the decompiled LG Camera app it is located in 5-6 locations.
Only 2 locations are needed.
First location is where the values are stored in private static fields
And the second location is the script is accessing the values and doing some operations with it.
Too bad it's low level coded
Looks like the CM7 camera app is easier to modify, because the LG one is insanely hardcoded

[MOD][HELP]Recording in 640x480.

I'm trying to modify the resolution video recording in which stock S5830i is 320x240.
It seems that could change the parameters of maximum resolution to 640x480, and could use, but only on a webcam app, in it the selection of resolution to be used.
The camera does not have a native setting of 640x480, so who can give a solution or know of an application that can replace the camera app for recording and has the ability to select the resolution, please, will help.
Thank you.
(sorry my english)
I'm pretty certain the problem is due to hardware limitations, and not related to the software.
You could get a new phone.
Yep. It is the hardware limitations.
You can try to force it to record in 480p just like they did in the Galaxy Mini forums I guess.
Try lgcamera and see if recording in 480p works.

if we get GPU drivers from Broadcom then we can record 1080p HD videos ???
Guys Broadcom Will be releasing a CM7.2 with full CPU and GPU Source if everything goes okay.
If everything goes okay, im pretty sure we will be able to record in 720p or maybe even 1080p which i personally think would not be possible with 5MP camera.

I do not know, but I will try.
; D
I went and tested this a bit...
Any resolution above 640x480 - glitched camera, but you can still see shapes and motion moving and stuff like that so I don't know it it's the firmware;
Camera fully crashes when trying 720p or higher
Only works on H.264 encode, anything else it will crash
Seems to be very good at handling bitrate, as expected, because of the GPU, I tested up to 5Mbit but i'm sure it can handle more, gets a bit jittery though. 2Mbit looks like 'enough' for this resolution
(320p/20fps/?1mbit are factory defaults)
480p/20fps/5mbit seems to be the best option
edit: Must use ARM_NB audio encoder and record in 20fps or it will be out of sync

either go back to stock, or, i'm not sure if it works properly - try iodak's ported stock camera app; it should record at higher fps.
Ok, thanks, will try and report back...
Have tried suggested camera an it does record 1080p at approx. 30fps (mostly 27fps)..
But at very low birthrate (round 9000), so the video is not very high quality..
As soon I opened it I also noticed annoying focus bug..
So - is there any app / mod / hack, that has better quality and record at least 24fps? That works on CM 4.2
As far as I tested camera apps, best results are with snap camera (but only 22fps.. ) Maybe lg camera too..
First of all, Questions belong into the Q&A section (---> moved)
Now, to your Q, you can't get a higher framerate, as it is capped @30fps.
But I think i know how to "uncap" it, let me take a look at it tomorrow

amazing , thats great, that would be a nice info. though me im fine with fps. the quality is what bothers me. it would be nice if it could get a higher definition too. faces must be close or they look "ugly"
edit: if we choose a latte fx its easier to notice the bad quality and what i mean.
Yeah, I agree, it would be great to have more fps and better bitrate..
I got 17mps on snap camera.. Could we get it on camera itself?

No, it can't be included into a camera app, as it is inside the system, and not inside an app
So it is possible to include/hack this into kernel or what?
Still haven`t found app, that would record at 30fps and had better bitrate..
