I'm using crDroid and seems like I can't use 3rd party file manager to write to SD card even though I've set right permission, how can I fix this?

Xiaomi File Manager from Play Store and Root Explorer, both didn't work. Check this video out for more details: https://youtu.be/xkSF_0WfCsw

issue on bluetooth
Installed this rom and is great, but there is one bug i found, i was listening music on bluetooth and it seemed everything fine, till i noticed i couldn't answer calls on bluetooth, also play and pause buttons(playing music) from bluetooth not responding correctly.

I just tested it out and you're right, files copied from internal to external storage somehow corrupts the file. Not sure why though.

I think I found a bug. I have no signal strength all of a sudden and it's showing this error notification (see image)
IMEI, baseband is still intact.
edit: Nvm. Looks like it's a problem with my carrier.

Upgraded from crdoird 7.1.2 everything works smoothly for the couple of hours i got it. The only problem i can say is that the phone is getting a lot more warm even when not using it...please check it out as on the 7.1.2 there was no issue what so ever...Other than that thanks thanks a lot for the rom!

How to install when you're in crDroid 7.1.2? Please answer.

It's recommend that you do a clean install.
Go to TWRP, wipe system, data, cache, dalvik cache. Then install the ROM then GApps. Reboot. (Firmware is already included with the ROM.)

I noticed that too, but it doesn't happen all the time for some reason. I wonder if using the Infinity kernel fixes this issue...

hello!
I tried to clean flash this rom twice, and both times I ended up to random reboots.
Actually it was kind of weird that after the installation had ended and I tried to boot to the rom the device rebooted the moment the bootanimation was about to appear. This happened both times. After that, the setup screen appeared and I was able to use the device for some time before the random reboots start.
My device is the european xt1092, if that matters.
If anyone has any knowledge about this issue I would appreciate his/her help!

Switched from cm 14.1 to this ROM and I love it! So much smoother and stable. And I've had way better battery life! Only issue I seem to be having on 7.0 and up Roms is signal. It cuts in and out bad! But overall great ROM!!!! Thanks so much!
Would it be possible to add the pixel home button animation to this rom?

I've been using this rom as my daily driver for almost a week now and I'm loving it.
The GPS and camera both work perfectly and the only problem I've had is the already described permissions issue with the built-in file manager. I grabbed Solid Explorer off of the Play Store and it's been great.
I installed boeffla kernel 6.0 beta 2 and it hasn't missed a beat.
Just make sure you do a backup before giving it a try.

Same here...
The ROM is great...I love it!It's fast and smooth...
I also had the file manager issue but as stated and above it's easily solved by using another file manager.
The only thing i have noticed is that Airdroid has an issue..It gives me an error that airdroid has closed while the phone is in standby and when i try to use it i can't connect via web or local ip.
If i uninstall and reinstall it, the first time i launch it everything is working ok, but after a while the error appears..
I also had a similar issue with the MTP host (or something like that)..While phone was in standby, it gives an error thar MTP has stopped..
Anyone else has noticed anything like that?
@droidnu @kinregva
Thanks a lot guys that was pretty convincing..
Now all I need to know is what's the maximum size of the gapps that the system can hold? I need most of the gapps preinstalled..
Stupid question but I suppose i can't flash it on i9305

A marvellous work man...????
??
So in love with this ROM! Awesome work dev, can't thank you enough for this! However, there's a bug regarding hotspot but I believe every CM14 ROM has that bug, most probably due to bug in CM Source itself.
ROM is buttery smooth, have no communication issues on either SIM, Jio 4G calling appears to be working as well.
Currently using this ROM with Super GApps and MultiROM and absolutely no issues.
However can't comment on battery life yet.
Thanks a ton again!
Let me have the privilege of posting a few screenshots
Awesome work! Downloading right away. Hopefully the sim-selection-for-calls issue that's plaguing me in the latest builds of nougat doesn't show its face here.
Is LTE working in second sim?
Best 7.x ROM until now
Really cool ROM,
Awesome:good:
WiFi access point works?

Actually I used Super GApps and Pixel Launcher in included in that package. You can also get Pixel Launcher from Playstore and also if you look around on XDA, you can find a flashable Pixel Launcher zip.
And transparency options are available in crDroid settings.
Hope this helps!

I haven't installed any icon and as far as I know, you can't install any icon packs on Pixel Launcher. However, I did notice that flashing Super GApps gave more roundish icons to Pixel Launcher by default.
But you like Pixel Launcher and don't want to give up on customizability either, I suggest you go for latest beta builds of Nova Launcher.
It can give you exact Pixel Launcher appearance and a lot more than that. Although, you'll have to pick apart Nova settings very thoroughly for that. :silly:
Let me know if you need any help with that... I can share my Nova Launcher layout backup with a list of icon packs I normally use.

TWRP for zenlte
For some reason, TeamWin's build servers couldn't build version 3.4.0-0 for zenlte from the marshmallow branch of the official source tree (the most recent one), so I ran my own build:
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.img
twrp-3.4.0-0-zenlte.tar
zenltetmo has an official 3.4.0-0 build.
I've been following thread since on note5 pages. Im glad that u finally make it on here
Tried to install here, and current message is Updater process ended with ERROR: 7 Error installing zip file. SMG928G
Just needed to erase first lines of the updaterscript to get install on TWRP.
Wi-fi not working. calls stays on speaker only.

Hi,
Wanted to join you at Telegram, but get the message the invite has expired or I get "This chat does not exist".

Hello I really like the ROM you are building
I'm new to custom roms, is this compatible with my S6 Edge+ AT&T (SM-G928A)? I searched online and it says it's a GSM model sl I'm confused if my phone is compatible. Thanks!
success on G928F
@ripee, thank you very much!
@ripee, a typo? "Flash Gapps [ARM64/9.0/PICO](Optional)". Should it not be 10.0?
Just rooted my G928F, using these instructions: http://www.samsungsfour.com/tutoria...nougat-7-0-using-cf-auto-root-all-models.html
As I'm using Linux, I used the odin4 cli from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/odin4-v1-0-linux-t3782930
./odin4 -a CF-Auto-Root-zenlte-zenltexx-smg928f.tar.md5
@ripee, thanks again for the TWRP build earlier in the thread, I needed that.
./adb push twrp-3.3.1-0-zenlte.img /sdcard/
Used TWRP app to flash the zip
Used open gapps from https://opengapps.org/
./adb push lineage-17.1-20200315-UNOFFICIAL-zenlte.zip /sdcard/
./adb push .open_gapps-arm64-10.0-pico-20200322.zip /sdcard/
Used TWRP to flash above
All is running fine till now, not found any major issue till now.
