when someones mobile shutdown, and number not working, when i send him a one or two sms, when he turn on the phone, i get the sms delivery reports, so thats why i need to fix this problem, any good rom for N devices , i badly need this option friends

Fix what problem ? First you asked how to enable delivery reports. Now judging from your second post you have it turned on, but you want a delivery report despite the fact that the recipients phone is shut off and the message can't be delivered. Isn't it obvious ?

To enable the delivery reports go in to your sms app and click the 3 totes then select settings, more settings, text messages and then you have a choice to enable or disable delivery reports but as others have said it is carrier dependant as to if they offer them or not.

You only get sms delivery reports once the recipient has 'received' it. If the phone is off, they will not receive your text until they turn it on, hense why you are not getting the reports asap.
Its not like Whatsapp where you can check it has been sent, delivered and read.

So....what you are looking to do cannot be done from your phone. To do it, it requires invading someone else's phone and installing software that tracks their phone state.

I understand. In order to get the delivery report you are looking for, software on the other phone can do that. SMS delivery report only shows that the message was delivered, not that the phone is turned on.

It's CSC dependent.

Hello did this get any resolve, I have similar problem of which only came after updating my Note 8 Os to Droid 9. My previous O.S had option to turn on delivery reports... also noticed I now have a Sprint boot up logo

[Q] JB SMS issue

Hi, having SMS issue with my SGS on Remics-JB 3.0.1 - I receive no SMS. When I put SIM in another phone SMS are finally received. Sending SMS is OK, i can send messages and they are delivered to addressee so it is not problem with SMSC. Only no SMS are delivered to my SGS although I test sending from web or another phone. I had this issue with all ICS and JB roms I tested, sometimes after flash it was all right and problem started later and sometimes the issue appeared right after flash. Got back GB and it was fine but now I tested JB again and the issue is still here, although I did all wipes and clears before and after flash, had made no restore via TB or Go backup. I am getting really anoyed from this, tried another SMS app and no result. Could you advise me what will help, I had an idea to try another modem but dont know which

I think so, in phone menu it is displayed, cant compare it now with box cause I am not at home. Flashing GB or Froyo resolves it and phone calls, logging in mobile network is OK.
Edit: Mean on ICS/JB phone calls and mobile network works, SMS sending works, SMS receiving NOT work.
On older android works everything.

its odd, looks like you have something installed to block out sms reception like this maybe ...which I doubt
IMEI does match with the one on the box. I use Root call blocker pro (some older version), SMS blocking is off but will try delete it and test if there isnt some bug, after that I will let know. Although it is essential app for me because of my work Dont know about another one like that which is function and reliable

So.. deleted Root call blocker pro, wiped cache, dalvik, fixed permission and.. OK It was some incompatibility of older version with JB.
Do you know some other call blocking app, which is reliable and blocks calls before phone start to ring? So caller wont hear ringing tone but "not aviable" or "busy" tone?

Missed Calls

Hello,
I'm on EE UK network and I keep getting text messages that i've missed a call even when i'm at home where i'm connected to wireless and also have 3 or 4 bars signal.
don;t understand why this keeps happening. I try calling my phone from another mobile and it works OK.
Any one know why this might happen?
Thanks
Are you sure its recent calls? Depending on your carrier it might log it and send it as a reminder later or something like that.

Problems like this are quicker to fix by wiping your phone, if you have data you want to backup either use titanium backup or do a nandroid backup (build into CWM)

I've wiped the phone but just found the problem still exists, any help with this will be appreciated. It's very annoying that people cant get through to me.
I read somewhere that the problem might be something to do with the 4g network. the network needs to switch from 4g to 3g to receive voice calls and if it doesn't switch quick enough, it results in a rejected/unconnected call but gives me a text to say someone couldn't get through.
is that possible?
I also have the same problem. While I was holding my device which had three bars of signal ,I was calling my number from a friend and kept getting the msg that it was not available, ..after 2 mins I received about 5 "missed call" messages. I think it's problem of EE though.

Unable to receive texts until I toggle airplane mode on and off

I'm on stock 5.1 with root and franco kernel.
This is the 3rd time that I'm aware that I can't receive texts. I can't tell that I'm not receiving it until someone messages me on hangouts saying they texted me. When that happens I toggle airplane mode on and off and then a flood of texts will come in. During that time I can send out texts just fine but I can't receive them.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Not sure if there's a dialer code for you, (on Sprint there is) that would reset your data configuration. Perhaps contact T-Mobile support and see if they can reprovision your data?

I'll check with them as last resort. I'll try to switch from messing to hangouts for SMS.

Can't call or receive and no sound

It's on stock rom and suddenly i couldn't make a call and apparently cannot receive either. If i try to make a call it goes back to dialer after 1s and if someone tries to call me it says the phone is closed.
Tried reseting it from the settings menu and from the fastboot menu and it's the same. The funny thing is, it can receive and send sms and mobile data works (even 4g). Another funny thing is there's no sound, i can't even play ringtones from settings, it says can't play the file and Youtube videos show an error message. Soundcloud website keeps jumping from a track to another without even starting one of them...
Did someone have this kind of issues with their One Mini 2?
Thanks.

yes you did sorry going blind.
At first i would say the calls issue would be a problem with your provider but since you have sound issues too,
my best advice would be send it off to HTC center for repair. when its hardware problems, they don't usually charge for it even when off warranty.
note you can run HTC diagnostic in your phone.
dial *#*#3424#*#* and you will enter in HTC Diagnostic menu 3424 means (DIAG)

Google Messages Bug

Interesting thing going on with Messages.
I have my AT&T Sim in my Huawei Mate 20 X. My Pixel 4 XL is on beside me using WiFi. But I'm not using it. It's just on.
I texted my wife a minute ago using my Mate, but her replies come to my P4XL, even though it does not have a sim in it. I tried to respond to her text using the P4XL, but it won't send. So, I replied using the Mate. All of her responses come to the P4XL, not the Mate with the sim that my texts originate from. Weird.
Not really a bug, I guess. Just an interesting thing.
Same thing happens here
Even if I have no service (international) but connected to wifi I can make and send calls and text
You're probably using RCS, or something is stuck as though you're using RCS.

Yep. @scienceguylabs
Turn off 'chat' features in messages.
Thanks, everybody. I turned off chat features and all is good. I wonder, though, why I could receive messages but not send???

Dunno. Theoretically it should work. I send and receive text messages (and calls) all the time with only a Wi-Fi signal, but I've never pulled my SIM to test it. Hand in hand with Wi-Fi calling, RCS is a great thing. Not sure why one would want to switch it off.

I agree. It's great.
I turned it off on the phone I'm not using. I have it enabled on my 20X, although, it doesn't work all the time. It gets stuck on "Connecting" a lot.
