What's the best custom rom for huawei p9?
I tried to see in the index but it is not complete ... Moreover, custom rom can not be created without huawei releases the kernel sources?
Is there any guide to using ADB to change or tweak the phone?

Could anyone please tell me if I could get any Rom which is better(and has to be stable ) than default Rom of honor 4x.

If you have kirin verison of phone there is no custom rom that can be used, but they are working on few. You can find info of those from p8lite forum(it's basically same phone) so someone might be able to port those for our device. Also esal kernel and hidragon kernel(which can't be found on this site, check htcmania.com) can give bit of boost for device.

rom? no custom for CHE2-L11. Stable stock? I prefer B360 Lollipop. Its nice, faster than B515, yes its older. No problems, since magisk hide works properly.
The trun stable ROM for now is stock ROM EMUI 4... CM series are useable but sometimes broken here or there...

I been using p20 pro 6/128gb for one month.
I am thinking if there is updated custom kernel for stock rom official that is updating every month or two it doesnt matter but to be updating at least 5 months to be new.
Is there any?
I did a searxh here and found 2 custom kernel
Also i know i think actually that is not that easy to build a custom kernel on Huawei devices wirh Kirin .is this true?

First of all, to flash anything (root,TWRP, custom ROMs) you must unlock Bootloader
Second, check the threads in ROMs section but if I recall correctly for P9, EMUI 5, there were only two or three custom ROMs based on stock and one or two (LOS and maybe RR) based on AOSP - developed (and stopped) back in 2017
EMUI 5 was not ready for GSI ROMs, and every custom ROM must have been adapted and ported to P9
You probably think about new, GSI based Pixel Experience or similar ROMs - for that you would first need to update to EMUI 8, Oreo (and rebrand from your Italian to Chinese EMUI because EMUI 8 was only released for China)
All together not impossible but not as easy and friendly as if you would have a new (Android 9 or 10) Xiaomi, One Plus or a similar phone where you just unlock Bootloader and start experimenting with GSI ROMs
Last but not the least, specially if you are a newbie, think about the community regarding help, learning from, sharing experience - there are only two or three users who are still actively experimenting with GSI/AOSP custom ROMs on P9, posting only something from month to month here, hence you will mostly need to go alone

If your device is unlocked, rebranded and updated to EMUI 8.0, you can install GSI ROMs with some issues. You're better off installing OpenKirin ROMs or sticking to EMUI 8.0. This device isn't very active in development, but we will try to help. You can install phh-based Android O/P ROMs. Android Q GSIs don't work because of this device's VNDK 26.

Just picking up and using my trusty P20 Pro after a couple years and noticed no custom kernel (4.14+) or ROMs for EMUI 10.
Anyway, just checking if anyone else has done work on this before I start up on it. I intend to start with some custom kernels based on 4.14. Then maybe a custom ROM based on the released 10.0.
I have hardware testpoint but I've sealed up my phone (for now) and will be using software testpoint (via force upgrade) from now on if required.
Edit: I couldn't even find work on the latest kernel on Github, so I have added one here:

Since this seems surprisingly unpopular, I assume it's because people don't know how to do custom firmware on EMUI 10? I have been looking around the internet in hopes of finding a custom rom for my Huawei phone. So far I've only come across and article on the website tweakdroid but the downloads there are not available. I would like to run LineageOS on that phone and I've already found some ways to eventually unlock the bootloader and root my phone. I don't see any reason in going through that process though if I don't have any ROM to flash onto the phone. If anyone could provide me with some official or unofficial custom rom files I would really appreciate it.

As far as I know no custom roms have been developed for the P10; only emui forks and images that make use of project treble. OpenKirin used the latter and also managed to use the emui cam app, but has been abandoned. You may be lucky with this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/c/project-treble.7259/
