Decrypt moto g6 - Moto G6 Questions & Answers

I would like to know how to remove the encryption of Motorola G6, since it makes the mobile slow during the time
Enviado desde mi moto g(6) mediante Tapatalk

Not possible... I dont think...

Since source is out it shouldn't be long before someone gets either a decrypted kennel made or patch it through root. (that's how my Nexus was)

Just have to patch DM verity from the stock boot.img of the device, edit the fstab.qcom, and wipe userdata.

Flash of the boot.img

Why in Omnirom and in Cyanogenmod we need to flash the boot.img and in Liquidrom and in my old phone Galaxy Mini isn't necessary?
Just curiosity.

It's may related to the kernel

I never flash the boot.img. Why do you do that? Just use a compatible CWM version or TWRP. I haven't used fastboot for a long time!

Yes I am sure. If the package contain a boot.img and if the flashing completes without any errors, you have nothing to be worried about. Always use a newer CWM or TWRP or even the touch CWM.

Stupid idiot (me) accepted OTA on rooted X. Bootlooping

I'm dumb. Got a notification for an OTA on my rooted X 2014 and in my drunkin stupor I click it. Yay for stagefright patch. Nope. Nope. Nope. Everytime my phone fully boots, but after ~30 seconds it reboots to try and apply the update. I'm redirected to TWRP to continue the cycle. What to do?
In TWRP go to file manager, cache, and delete the update file.

I don't know what I did wrong, just flashed this on Oreo Stock Rooted (UL BL), bootloop.
I don't say it's a faulty file, the fault is obviously on my side, just trying to understand why.

Wipe data before flashing
Noob question, before install, wipe dalvik and cache or full wipe? Install this doesn't erase internal memory?
