You need to wait for global version and than you will see, which bands are supported.

hello I need help regarding unlocking band 1800 for European LTE on htc one m8 sprint can any body help?
International M8 hardware specs[1]:
LTE band 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800) - EMEA
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 28(700) - Asia
LTE band 4(1700/2100), 17(700) - T-Mobile
LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 17(700) - AT&T
LTE band 40(2300) - India
CDMA M8 hardware specs[2]:
LTE band 25(1900), 27(800), 38(2600) - Sprint correction : according to NV memory its 25/26/41
LTE band 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 7(2600), 13(700) - Verizon
According to hardware specs, that LTE frequency band does not exist on Sprint M8. (I personally don't believe it's a hardware specification)

You can't change the bands, you can only enable/disable them through qpst or depending on which phone variant it may be possible through a hidden menu.

[Q] Can I guy Sprint (or other carrier) Note 5 and use w/ Verizon?

Hello. I would really like to get the Note 5 but will not do so until I can root it. Does anyone know if I can buy a rootable Note 5 from another carrier and use it on Verizon? If so, can someone point me in the right direction? What carrier(s) could I use?
Thnx in advance!
The simple answer is as long it is a CDMA model and isn't locked to a specific carrier, then it should be usable on Verizon.
Rooting is a different matter, a question for someone more knowledgeable than I.

So Sprint should work on Verizon?
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
My first guess based on a quick simple google search of "do sprint phones work on Verizon" tell me chances are you will have big problems.
https://www.whistleout.com/CellPhon...y-verizon-sprint-phone-on-a-different-network
If it's not completely impossible altogether. You are also asking the question in a forum of users with gsm phones and providers. You may have more luck if you ask in the verizon or sprint forums for the device. I've never seen mention of anyone using or asking about verizon in the sprint forum, maybe the verizon people can tell you for sure.

Good suggestion; I'll do that. Thnx!

are there Hardware differences between singel sim and dual sim models?

Got an standard EVA-L09 single sim, wondered if there is just the sim tray and a different ROM that differences the dual sim model?
or is it twwo completely different devices? seeing how similar they are I kind of hoped this is just the tray and rom..
anybody knows how to find out?

Single sim has NFC But dual sim doesnt sim NFC.
Single sim Supports
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 6(900), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 17(700), 18(800), 19(800), 20(800), 26(850), 28(700), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300) bands
Dual Sim Supports
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 7(2600), 20(800), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), B41 bands.
I was actually coming to ask a similar question... Gsmarena actually shows 3 models, 2 of which have band 12. The L09 and L29. So the only difference between these two is NFC?

IF I just buy an unlocked note 9 (US version/qualc), will it work on any SIM carrier?

If I buy an unlocked phone from samsung direct, and just pick unlocked, can I use it on US Cellular? Is the CDMA/GSM stuff no longer an issue? Or does the phone support both, so it just works?
Because of course, they have a "US CELLULAR" option, but then I assume that means it comes with the US Cellular bloatware.
Would I have to flash the US Cellular note 9 software on this one to get access to everything (such as it is on us cellular), or just stick in the sim, and be happy?
I bought the unlocked model and it works fine on Verizon after putting the PIN in, very painless. However, features like WiFi calling don't work because I don't have the Verizon firmware. If US Cellular doesn't have any special features that aren't app based then you won't notice a difference in service with the unlocked model.
Sent from my SM-N960U1 using XDA Labs
Yes, it should work perfectly fine with any US Cell Provider
It will work.
U.S. Cellular Bands
4G : 800 MHz ESMR, Band 26 (LTE). 1900 MHz PCS, Band 25 (LTE). 2.5 GHz BRS/ EBS, Band 41 (TD-LTE/ LTE Advanced).
Note 9 US can work on these bands
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 13(700), 14(700), 17(700), 18(800), 19(800), 20(800), 25(1900), 26(850), 28(700), 29(700), 30(2300), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500), 46, 66(1700/2100), 71(600) - USA
It of course covers the CDMA bands as well.

[Q] T-Mobile/Metro Bands

https://www.giztop.com/asus-rog-phone-2.html
Compatible with Asia / Europe(Partial bands) / Australia Bands
The ROG Phone 2 provides global 4G LTE-FDD bands:
8GB-128GB Version: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B28;
12GB-512GB Version: B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B13/B17/B18/B19/B20/B26/B28/B29/B32/B66.
Now the eBay sellers are claiming the phone works in USA GSM carriers:
Network Technology GSM / HSPA / LTE
2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G bands LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100)
5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700)
18(800), 19(800), 20(800), 28(700), 29(700), 32(1500)
34(2000), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500), 46
I'm really confused here. I imagine GizTop and the eBay sellers have the same version of the phone so why are they advertising different LTE bands? I really want fully functioning LTE bands so I don't want to buy the wrong version. Does anyone have any advice or info?
