Can I install stock rom and bootloader locked??

i got my xperia Z1, flashed 4.2.2 ftf, rooted it, flashed TWRP recovery, flashed 4.3 using recovery. Now i want to install custom 4.4.4 rom. Can i do it simply from the TWRP recovery without unlocking the bootloader? Or should i unlock it first? thank you.
If you have an working Recovery you can flash the custom Rom zip file..

Do I have to relock before flashing tft ?? As I have a custom kernel installed on it I don't think so ... but as I am in a bad situation I'd like to be sure of what to do ...

[EDIT]: phone booting stock rom.... When flashing stock rom with your Bootloader Unlocked you have to STAY Unlocked. Relock can be done only when you are on stock rom.
Note: To flash the rom I had to delete bootloader.sin from ftf file
[IMPORTANT] After flashing your bootloader is locked back !!! I was going to flash a custom kernel before checking that ....

How unlock bootloader stock firmware H8110N? root ok but it do not with recovey H8110N
install rock stock block the bootloader and now it won't let me flasher rom stock flash locked any solution?
