Latest version of Twrp recovery from TeamWin for Huawei P8 has finally been built.
This is in beta stage and there is some weird display bug, but the functionality seems fine even though.

I tested it and adb backup through usb doesn't work and also can't delete older abckup, seems to want to restore it when I want to delete it

Also can't get out of it, I am in some boot loop, always landing in the recovery

Also whatever adb reboot xxxx you specify it still reboot into recovery, to get out i had to toy a bit with the hardware buttons, maybe because i flashed only to recovery, do I need to flash to recovery2 too?

And the built-in terminal spams that the child process has died, so it can't be used.

Hi,
I hvae HTC ONE after trying to install custom rom and they didn't work (status 7) but now I can't load the system it automatically boot into recovery mode, also I can't factory rest in fastboot menu. plz help
Thread moved.
You have to download a custom rom like Viper or ARHD. Notice that you have to get the right recovery to flash diffrent roms. When using ARHD you have to use TRWP 2.6.3.3 recovery!
So make sure you are using the right recovery.
Some custom roms need to flash the boot.img via command prompt / terminal

I unlocked bootloader and Installed HD Revolution HD but after finishing the rom it says:
You lose Root, do you want to fix?
1. No
2. Yes fix
and I accidentally clicked No,
now I can't do anything in recovery because I don't have root permission and I can not load into normal system because it will restart into recovery.
Ok so it always reboot into recovery

Unlock the bootloadee again with a new unlock.bin
So you have to redo the process at http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/
You have to use the new unlock.bin that you will receive from htcdev

Hello all
I have a problem with my Huawei P9. Eva 09. During my dload update my smartphone shutdown without any advice. So uodate process has not been completed therefore device does not boot. It says "Devixlce is booting now" but it does not go on. Recocery mode does not works son i cannot re flash a new firmware. Fastboot mode works. I re flash system.img boot.img and so on as a thread in this forum says but nothing to do. Device does not work. Hisuite can restote all in fastboot mode but seems that my device is not compatible. It is last version of hisuite.
Someone can help me?

You can unbrick your phone if your BOOTLOADER is unlock & frp is unlock
I tried to root but when starting the device it stays on the logo.

Tried by me itself and it was working i mean i was able to get back stock recovery .
which one to use CSC or WW Version, my bootloader is locked and stock recovery is applied.

for locked devices CSC works
process failed in fastboot. I think its for firmware, i'm on latest firmware version Version WW-14.2016.1804.305
CSC & WW posted here are on Version WW-14.2016.1802.247 by which downgrade of firmware not possible and process fails.
Bro after flashing stock recovery through TWRP ,then can I flash ota through that stock recovery..then will my bootloader will get locked or will it be unlocked

First of all if you just flash stock rec from twrp over modified system you won't be able to flash official OTA's you need to remove the modifications from the system in order to get and flash OTA's from stock recovery .

Flash full Fastboot firmware and if you want to lock bootloader and go completely stock you can do that as well .
