Cannot comment on the battery backup right now, need to use it for few days to know..the reason for sharing this ROM was for its tons of customization which are the USP of this ROM.
Great work by the ROM team..:good:

I have flashed this ROM by this morning, since then I started loving it.. it has tons and tons of customization.... many are not present in other custom ROMS..
My Quick Observations so far are
* Buttery smooth ROM
* Tons of customization
* No heating issue.. even with heavy usage..
I will comment the battery backup after using it for few days.
A must try ROM I would say!! Thanks a lot to the dev team !!

Thanks worked . Keep up the great work ✌?

Bugs
Overall the ROM is good and there are tons of customisation.... Battery backup is good but it is a little less than AOSP Ex... Smooth performance..
Bugs-
1. The lock-screen goes blank for 3-4 sec after every customisation. But it becomes normal after some times. I think its a bug in Ambient display.
2. There's a little error in Slow Motion camera and High speed frames...
But overall, good work devs..

Bug in camera, scanner is'nt working

Hi, Can u give steps to reproduce this, which scanner didn't work ..

The rom is beautiful and did not notice any major bugs yet. But slight a small bug i "heard" while earphones plugged in and music is on sometimes when the next song is played after one the music gets a little distorted or something like that then i have to pause the music and play again then it clears properly. Overall good rom and loved it many customisation battery is also decent as oreo. And just wanted to know will this continue to get updates ?

Warning !
Ok, I try to flash with TWRP like other rom but I had error 7, so no system, no problem I restore my backup but after 15 % error 255, can't mount /system, start to panic finally redelete everything and flash my old RR 7.1.2 zip and seems to reworks so I'm searching to resolve error 7 but I'm warning you it actually doesn't work for me. I'm going to retry after a reboot (it's actually booting).

That's a pity, your builds work better.
Anyway, thanks for your work and for bringing Havoc for our device (I really love this ROM!).

After one week usage of this room I don't found any bug. Just one thing when the weather was above 35°C inside my house, when I was doing Google image search the device was really really hot, I couldn't handle the phone for the first time so I stopped using it and turned off, it still working Battery is correct without battery saving for a 3yo phone, 10am to 17pm with YouTube, Spotify, chrome and CarXdrifting. Probably the best Oreo rom for our device thank you very much for keeping this device updated.

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

Thanks for this brilliant rom!
Does it have the built in dark mode and the ambient display(display switches on when taken out of pocket)?

AOSPB is totally based on AOSP but, with few CAF-patches,that are necessary for compatibility with legacy devices.

Thanks brother!
Awesome Rom! Had a little bug for a moment, i installed xposed and not sure if it had happened before xposed but wifi wanst working, i rebooted and all is well now. Thanks!
Rooted my phone and installed this. There's however a problem with camera (stock one works perfectly but every other camera app not): when I take photos with flash on every photo is out of focus.
Any ideas is this related to rom or phone? (worked with stock Marshallow rom)
EDIT:
Taking photos works best with Motorola's own Camera app. Photos are sharp were flash used or not. Rom's own camera takes sharp images but sometimes it stalls a while. Every other camera app (tested 4) takes good photos without flash but with flash everything is out of focus.

Yep, great ROM! Thanks for that! :good:
Couple issues besides the camera problem:
1. When dark theme is in use SMS messages are hard to delete because the text "Delete / Cancel" is exactly same color than the background.
2. Notification and ringtone volume are linked. In other ROMs I could choose to unlink them. Really useful in my opinion.
I also got a FC when attempting to dismiss the alarm via the notification

Well, I may be wrong about the bugs, but here's the problem, the default network preference is WCDMA only which leads to no signal on my Smartfren 4G LTE Card (you should've known that Smartfren is 4G only)
Maybe if you can, you should set the preferred network type to the default which covers all the network from LTE/TD-SCDMA/CDMA/GSM/WCDMA and etc
Whoaaaaaa, independence day's present

Finally! You made it. Nice ?
At first boot sim card not working on I9192 but reboot fixed this(yaa!)
Everything else works fine Calls, msg, Mobile data,WiFi ,camera, sound etc
Only thing that I noticed So far is home button doesn't wake the screen (although home button work for other tasks like going home etc)
And it doesn't have any settings related to this (not even on havoc customisation)

This was missing from the overlays, something that Havoc in particular needs to have specified compared with Lineage. New builds later today with this included.

I forgot to migrate a couple more settings from overlay-lineage into the main overlay. Perhaps new 1123 builds later today if I get a chance to run them again.

Nice work. I hope you will release stable version soon. You will be the first one to make a propper non-buggy OS.
Also, I think you should check out ResurectionRemix 7.0.2 for our devices. This is the most stable OS for now. Maybe you could import some stuff out of there.
Good luck.

What about Havoc is unstable? Lineage is buggy? RR is less buggy than both of these? This is all news to me.

It's already stable bro
Try without Gapps
Google services are the reason behind those lags and slow downs

Lineage 15 consumes too much power, and auto-brightness doesn't function properly. There were also some other problems, but I don't remember them.
In RR, everything works great. It is pretty fast, and consumes only about 2-4% of charge at night. However, it has some bugs as well. Like screen sometimes goes black, and I need to turn the screen off, and on.
Well I tried it and it's a good rom except some little things like the launcher get that msg to so stop it or wait for it after every boot but as I said it's a good rom with a good interface and customization
Just wanna a little help guys I have the GT-I9195 I found it in the street I buy for it a new battery but when it reach about 60% it turn off automatically and when I plug it in charge it show that the battery is empty
What u guys think about this
Thanks for the great ROM!!!Everything works fast and stable!Battery holds perfectly!!!On gt-i9192.
I hope the work will continue !!!
Small donation coming your way, @ripee (via paypal) as a token of appreciation for bringing such a wonderfully customizeable OS to our tiny S4 Mini devices.

[UNOFFICIAL][ROM][10][A520X/A720X] HavocOS 3.8

HavocOS 3.8 Unofficial for SM-A520X & SM-A720X
This ROM was only built by me. I do not deserve much credit. As such I have not included a donation URL for myself.
Please instead give donations to the people who helped make the resources for building this project available to me.
If you require support please contact me before the developers of HavocOS or LineageOS. This is an unofficial build,
and will likely remain unofficial. Bugs should be same as LineageOS as most of the device-specific code used here
is from Lineage (sources linked below). Additionally, this thread and this thread were shamelessly harvested to create
this one. If the authors of those threads wish for me to redesign this thread without the usage of their thread contents
please contact me.
NOTE: I only own an A520W, and I have not tested cellular connectivity as I do not have a spare sim card. I have tested
most other functionality and found no issues on the A520W. This should work just fine for all A520X and A720X models,
however these devices have not been tested with this ROM so I cannot guarantee funcitonality. This should be implied with all custom ROMs, but flash at your own risk.
Enjoy the ROM!

"Ambient/Always On Display Brightness Configuration"
So we can adjust the brightness of AOD?
yes, under havoc settings
specifically there's an override option so that even if your device is at 90% brightness aod can be locked at whatever brightness you configure, for better battery life
Good job, You will continue updating if any bugs appear, could you add donations in bitcoin cryptocurrencies?

due to the similarities between these roms and their sources it is possible that you could do this without experiencing issues, but I always recommend clean flashing for these situations. you can try dirty flashing, but you might run in to issues
as for official please refer to the note at the top of the thread
tl;dr official unlikely

I will do my best to keep the ROM up to date and fix any bugs I can, but i do not believe that I deserve donations for something I have contributed so little to, and even if I did I do not work with Bitcoin
as for skulshady's donations you will have to ask in the havoc os telegram linked in the thread, I have simply copied his donation information from one of his havoc os threads
Hii any bugs in this rom?
Hi. The gps for me seems to have not working or finding correct coordination. Could you guys recommend any gps fix file or erc?ì
Sound picker does not work. Cant change ringtone. Otherwise no bug or problem.
I wanted to flash this rom as it looks very attractive and customizable. I have a galaxy a7 2017 dual sim on oreo 8.0 with latest security updates available for the device.
I have general idea about adb , twrp, flashing. But have not done personally yet. How risky it is to flash this rom on a scale of 1-10?
What are the bugs that could potentially be a deal breaker. Thanks to anyone who's up for helping. looking forward to flashing if I get proper guidance from any professionals.

Very little risk as you should always be able to reflash the stock firmware through Odin, all you need to do is download the latest official twrp build and flash through either Odin or Heimdall and then flash the ROM through twrp

Which device are you on? Any issue with apps or anything else?
Just installed twrp recovery but it doesn't mount internal storage..only mounts if format data is done.. but how do i flash if storage is formatted where i put the rom files.
I know this question should be on twrp forum. But i am asking here just to ask if while the internal storage is unmounted and i format data and then use a sd card to flash rom and gapps , will it work ?

You have to format data, then just use a pc to copy the ROM files back over after or copy the ROM files to an external SD card and flash them that way
