Hi guys, are mentioning a huge lagging on google photos app?
it can take a while to upload, but i've also found it doesn't do it in the background
Same here, iv noticed that backing up automatically while plugged in has stopped working.
Anyone else noticed this?
I had the same issue, and I fixed it by changing the power management setting for the app from "auto" to "manual"

Thanks i'll give this a shot.
Scrolling between photos in particular is not as smoothly as in the stock gallery app. Maybe should have bought a pixle....

To start -
it is definietly faster than GB.
But there are some missteps
1. Camera does not have manual/touch focus anymore. There is just Automatic and Face tracking.
2. Moving cursor gesture (double tap on side) is not present there. It is insanely stupid move on LG part to remove by far the most useful gesture.

Agreed, if you compare stock ROMs. For example, Gueste Good-Bye and DM are definitely zippier than this, so I am hoping for some good custom stock-based ROMs to improve on performance. Bottom line is that for me the current ICS release is very usable as a daily driver.

Actually, Touch focus works in Auto mode.

I can confirm what kt-froggy said, it does work in auto mode.
Please look at what I posted in this topic. Also, I suggest closing this, its basically a duplicate of that anyway.

[BUG] The G sensor. is not calibrate. on the game of temple of run and some other is go to the right I need tilt my phone aprox 45 degrees.
1 more bug, the notification sound not changing. Anybody have luck on changing notification sound?

I am not having any problems with the stock ICS ROM, in fact every of the above mentioned features work for me. You can actually change the focus yourself while you are using Auto focus mode, the camera app also comes with possibilitiess to adjust the ISO value and white balancing. Wi-Fi works for me good as well, i am not having any problems and i must say the battery life of the O2X has been increased a lot with this update.

I am able to change the notification sound, just go to Settings --> Sounds either Volumes to adjust the actual volume of the notification sound or scroll down to Notification sound, you can choose between the same sounds LG provided on GB (a pity)

What is exact problem? Do your phone scan networks nearby or does it completely nothing?

Does your phone goes into deep sleep or does it just lock itself? Weirdly enough I am not experiencing any problems. I know that the update is not available yet in The Netherlands, so how did you flash this ROM?

Hi to all, I've bought this wonderful X2 from India and I've seen a strange problem, in Facebook messenger the profile pictures of the contact are blank, if someone of my contacts send me a message i've seen the notification "ball" completely blank. Someone has faced the same problem? How can I fix this? Thanks!

it's a net speed problem...download internet speed meter and see ho much ur internet speed

I've spent these last 3 days trying to discover the reason. It seems to be a problem of the update available in Nokia Store because if I configure the Messenger version that I've got after resetting to factory settings, it works and load all images including my profile image, if i update it starts to having the problem I say...

I use Messenger version 9.0.0.15.17 on my Nokia X2 & it works fine
I have previously used Sony and switched to the p30 pro now , before I used to depend on a app like Notify, Notable ect ect ect where you have a quick access to make a note from the notification bar and then make that note stick there until you remove it yourself. When I now use the apps I previously used the notes and quick access all disapeare. I have tried to download several other apps but nothing stays there until I decide myself. Have also checked phone/app settings with no luck.
Does anyone know of a app like this that works correct on p30 pro or if there is a settings Im overlooking?

Thanks for the tips! I have tried Notin and unfortunaly its the same issue there. All the apps I tri, even the ones working on Sony Xperia and other phones, they just keep disapering from the Notification bar after around maximum 1 day.
I have tried looking in setings with no luck either, but I could be missing something. Dont understand why they will not work =/

Set the app to manual in app launch. Dont let the system auto manage it. Lastly, check and make sure the app is not optimized in the battery settings.

Thank you so much! I have tried these settings yesterday and my notes have now stayed longer than before and hopefully should stay that way! Awsome! Thanks!!
I am on MIUI 11 and after recent update of chrome, I notice laggy behaviour in Chrome, especially when scrolling. After uninstalling update lags are much lesser and then when I update again, issue comes up too.
Is anyone else experiencing same issue?

Same here. With DC dimming off lag is less but not completely gone.
I tried other chromium based browsers such as Edge and Kiwi. They both work pretty smooth.
no issue here on china rom
Don't really want to say that this is an solution. It's more like a workaround until it gets fixed.
You can put Chrome in your "game booster" under security app.
When I do that, the stutter is gone for me then.
I dont notice that behaviour, but chrome is eating my battery like a damn cookie monster! Its the main app that drains my battery

The actual name is "Use Android SurfaceControl" and with it disabled UFO FPS Test started showing screen HZ values instead of something about 40 FPS with DC Dimming on, so it means Chrome now uses all screen HZ, thanks.
I have updated chrome and This setting no longer appears. Please help. Chrome is very laggy...

I have the same issue. New version of Chrome doesn't have "Use Android SurfaceControl" option so I can't disable it. Does anyone know any other way to disable Android SurfaceControl in Chrome?

Try to disable DC on display settings. It's working for me to make Chrome scrolling smooth !

That's not solution because my eyes hurt when DC dimming is off.
I reported the bug on Chromium bugs.
You can vote on it (star it) on the top left corner of the page.

This worked wonders! I was so annoyed by the laggy chrome experience because everything else works fine on my 120Hz device. Only chrome looked so laggy. Do we know why does this happen in the first place?

The screen rotation in my gallery app doesn't seem to be working, it works in other apps but not the gallery. Anyone else having this issue?
Gallery app does the same thing on my S22 ultra on Android 13 UI 5.1. If I start with the Samsung My Files app and view an image using Gallery app it will rotate.
I setup a task in tasker which auto rotate when YouTube/Galery is launched and turn itself off once I leave the apps. Maybe it will help you..

I have the same problem on the S23U. I noticed that when autorotation doesn't work, I go into the gallery settings, go back to the pictures again then rotation works. If, on the other hand, I exit to the home screen and enter the gallery again it does not work again.
Hmm ya going to the settings fixes it but only temporarily, strange.

I don't always use the gallery in landscape mode so this wouldn't work for me.

I'll ask a few more things so we can have some comparison. Have you installed Camera Assistant? Did you activate the Labs option in Gallery? I'm asking to try to find the cause. I have done the things I am asking about and maybe one of them is causing this.

Nope no camera assistant, and I don't see labs in Gallery settings.
